BW/BW2 Is Chandelar Broken?

Shiny shadow-team looks good to me, a little similar to mine. Any ideas on moves?
I think the substitute/calmind/stab moves will be used a lot. Wonder where get one.
I think the flamebody and flashfire abilites will be allowed though. Its everything great about dusknoir and gengar mixed together. In terms of isshu pokemon, what would beat it (besides the almighty sozando)?

You can't say it will ruin OU. I will massively alter it, so much so that people will have to overhaul their teams, but that's not a bad thing. I've seen people say, "this will ruin OU," but the truth is they're also talking about other pokemon. Your comparing them to the current meta, which will not be present here. There are a lot of things as broken as Chandelar, like I feel Hihidurama will be incredibly overpowered, but there are plenty of things this to keep each individual thing in check.

I'm hoping that for Wi-Fi and Standard rules, it is just impossible to use a ST Chandelar, because without ST, it's pretty good, but not broken. Maybe there should be a "Shadow Tag Clause" for everything not-ubers.
Well, you said overhaul there teams. As in use a surefire counter for it on every team? Well with Shadow Tag, it can set up when the counter is not out. This might cause the metagame to focus on one counter. Causing centralization. Or at least alot more of these things.

I don't battle competitively, but Shadow Tag Chandelar (at least) has a chance at getting banned. I don't really know though, Shadow Tag's origional purpose was to wall, but Chandelar seems to be more of the "everything must die" type. Besides, you don't see Area Trap banned, do ya? Okay, Flying-types and Levitate, but still. If anything, Chandelar will just be a force to be reckoned with in OU, like Scizor, for an example.
In Doubles and Triples, attacking a Flash Fire Chandelar with Nitro Charge (which is thankfully a TM) like Frostwind said could be a decent strategey. I can see that becoming a sweep easily.

That's not what I meant. What I meant was that as every other generation new threats require a revamp of a team. I wasn't saying Chandelar was forcing this, but all of the pokemon in the generation.
I get what your saying. People are going to need to rework strategies and moves. There are new abilities, moves and pokemon that you never had to worry about before. Its not just this pokemon. Also a really big thing will be the possibilty of the meta game being a triple/rotation battle.

frostwind-i realized that it was similar to yours after looking at your post.sazando i will most likely take advantage of typing and looking for good moves to get STAB for.chandelar will get will o wisp ,flamethrower,shadow ball,substitute or shadow sneak.doryuzu will get earthquake and some other STABs.zebraika will get the all physical electric type moves exept swords dance.daikenki will get moves that support its staller position. shubarugo will be more geared toward being a wall,but will get physical moves aswell.
If its broken they become uber and can only battle with the legends. Of course itd be uup there with them unless wobbuffett got to come back to OU.
I hope it gets access to a lot of moves most ghosts get like psychic and thunderbolt.

Well for me, im taking full of advantage of sazandos special attack. Dark pulse, dragon pulse and flamethrower are needed. Zeburikka will get volt change, charge and nitro charge. Both fire moves are to help power chandeleer with flamethrower, shadowball, substitute and calm mind. Either doryuuzu or crocodile3 will get earthquake stone edge and drilliner/crunch. In need of a good flier, water pokemon and some walling power.

Imagine if this thing got Perish Song as an egg move or something. Perish Song, Substitute, Protect, filler with Shadow Tag. haha
