Is the United States going to Default on it's own Debt?

And no thoughts about it, Weavile? Come on, it's 634 points (a record since 2008)! That's as low as the DOW hit since October 2010. Gold is shooting over $1800 an ounce now because people seriously lost faith in the economy. =/

The only thing plausible right now is to simply hope that people will eventually lessen their worries and move back into the market sometime next year.

I don't know much about the economy to say anything :p

This is coming from a kid so sorry if i sound crazy.
The united states is convinced that digging their own grave is better then being pushed into one. Eventually some generation will have to deal with it, we are just prolonging that time, hoping were gone before then.

People never really knew about the debt ceiling until then, and its never been this hectic.
All this is a huge disrespect to obama, considering he doesnt have to include anyone in his desicions. Even if you dont like him (talking to those in gov.) you still need to show respect to your superiors, dont be a baby.

I'm neither republican or democrat, but whichever president ends up dealing with this for the last time, is going to have a lot of issues. Our generation may not be the best, but not enough people are doing anything about it.

I'm sure that "kicking the can down the road" isn't the only solution to fix the
Debt Problems the United States is currently facing right now. Sure we raised the Debt Ceiling but despite that had our Credit Rating downgraded by Standard & Poor's due to the political gridlock that was going on in Congress to resolve a consistent Debt Deal, Moody's has yet to be decided unless they have the same verdict as S&P.

I'm going to be like #1Weavile for a moment and post some interesting news with no opinion of my own attached with it:
