Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

Who's "they"? There's no antecedent here. Anyways, not allowing healing would make this deck OP. There has to be a way to keep it in check otherwise, instead of Item lock, people would blame not being able to heal. The only Trainer for Evolutions that needs to be reprinted is Broken Time Space or change the frigging rules that make no sense.

By 'they,' I mean the Pokemon Company people who make these cards in these sets for us to play, of course. ;)

Reprinting Rare Candy the way it was before would be a start...

What about a Supporter that is similar to what Wally does, but instead of being limited to 1 stage after, you can skip straight to Stage 2 like you could with Rare Candy?

Well, the thing is Rare Candy was always a good card before they decided to nerf it at the start of BW, mainly to allow other trainer cards to be played on the first turn since it was seen as overpowered at the time (getting Stage 2s turn 2 was easily achieved back then, and in Platinum format there was also Broken Time Space). However, it was precisely in the BW era that Big Basics started to appear and dominate the format, so now I don't see any reason to not restore Rare Candy to its previous effect.

Rattata's Bite and Run is really useful for a little guy.

Edit:
Nevermind. He tricked me. :(

Well, that's nearly as interesting as that Rattata. :v

Seriously though, I'm intrigued by this Flying-type hate of the Zebstrika, which could imply some overpowered [C] type soon.

All these good [L] type Pokemon make me fear when Pidgeot EX finally comes out. This card is almost made to just counter bird Pokemon.

The second attack of Rattata is interesting, In expanded you could combine it with Boundaries Crossed Raticate and Shrine of Memories to 2HKO any Pokémon. The side effect could also─

...Wait What?!

Does its ability allow manectric to attack regice after resistance blizzard?

Or only stuff like hard charm or raikou ability?

"Even the rats know that trouble's gonna come
To the edge of the city, see the little guys run
I hear spring... is nice... in Canada"

Couldn't help it; it was so fitting for that Rattata card. :p (5 points to anyone who knows what that's from. Ha ha.) I like the artwork!

And that Zebstrika is interesting, but very situational.

I admit Zebstrika ability is not very clear, and I can only guess, But resistance blizzard doesn't reduce Damage it prevents it. You can also look at it this way: the damage is reduced to zero. But then why Isn't it stated like this: ''The attacks from your lighting Pokémon Isn't affected by any effects on the opponent's Pokémon''

So likely only stuff like Hard charm and Raikou. Not that viable.

What if this means something big is coming. for example,

Attach this card to one of your basic pokemon (EXs need more help)

Any damage done to this pokemon by your opponents attacks is reduced by 10 damage for each card in your hand.

I would quit pokemon if this happened

Correct me if I am wrong, but this will allow (L) type pokemons to hit Rayquaza for weekness, even if Altaria is in play.

Edit:
And yeah, almost all Pokemons that have (F) resistance are week to (L) (except for some dark type).
lol, funny way to say "if opponent's pokemon is week to (L), do more damage" :)

It only works on effects of the active pokemon of your oponent. So you could not hit for weakness (in case of altaria), nor could you work around effects from attacks, since it only applies to effects of the current activ pokemon and this would be an effect of an attack. So it is not worth it, if you ask me.

With Muscle Band it could K.O. Shaymin EX even if Altaria is in play. Also, if there's no Altaria, it koes M Ray by a single DCE. Not bad
