Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

Anyways, what a garbage card. TPCi, stop printing too many of these just for filler. Where's the Item lock Zebstrika?! Just adding more pain to a horrible week (and past weekend).

Reduce any damage done to this pokemon during your opponents next turn by 20 (after applying weakness and resistance). This pokemon can't use devouring rubbish during your next turn.

This attack does 30 more damage for each Rattata and Raticate on both players benches.

and Zebstrika is nice for sure!
I already like the fact that it is in the set :p
 
In Zebstrika's defense, it does appear to be only an uncommon card (versus rare)...so, considering that, it's not too shabby.
On the other hand, this "rare" Chatot I keep pulling from BreakThrough packs...ughhh

What cards TPCi chooses to make "Rare" for the English card releases doesn't always match with how PCL makes the cards for their Japanese release. It's not uncommon for U cards (and even C cards, in some cases) to be made into non-holo rares for the international releases. Chatot was actually from one of the BREAK packs so you can't compare it, but many other cards from Japan's XY8 were artificially inflated to Rare status in BREAKthrough such as: Cresslia (C), Florges (U), Staraptor (U), Simisage (C), etc. Zebstrika is probably going to be a Rare in the English release, too.
 
Hmm, hard to tell if Zebstrika looks viable, but it's good to see some new Abilities and attack effects!
 
As of right now, entei AT gains a huge advantage from this combined with Eco arm/burst balloon/bats. I actually want to build a deck based off of that now.

Artificially inflated? It's all cardboard with artificially created value. :p

And yeah, almost all Pokemons that have (F) resistance are week to (L) (except for some dark type).

Saying [F] resistance is referring to Flying type Pokemon only under general rule, however referring to [L] will refer to some water types from BW also.

But I agree about the point you made yesterday with Rattata. TPCi teasing us with these insignificant basics is a little annoying.
