About Me

Heyy guys well my name is Josh and I am 16 years old.
I have been GFXing since early 2009 and have had many breaks in this period.

I submit the majority of my work to deviantART and some work to Photobucket.
If you like any of my would you mind adding them to your favourites on deviantART, commenting on them or following me. I will follow back of course ;).

By the way, I am open to all collab requests!
Appropriate credit will be given of course.
I think it will be a great for people to get to know my style and me to learn some of theirs !

You're back again PFJ? (Well I think you are PFJ.. :/ )

I like everything about the Scyther one but I think the bubbles(?) should have lower opacity... It draws the viewer (well, for me) away from Scyther..

And I think the C4D for this:
surrounded_in_green_by_joshpattendesigns-d4bjzde.png
should be a little blurred since it seems too sharp..

Haha na it's Bokeh ;)
Pretty neat effect.
I like using them primarily for more subtle pieces. They give off a really nice effect.
But yeah I overdid it in this one XD

Hmm yeah I normally would do that
But it was a request.
I never make good tags for requests. Some people are just too hard to work with T.T

these are some really nice sigs =)
although I did notice some things on the zoro wallpaper. the c4ds that you used show the edges on the wallpaper, especially near the top right. I'd use a soft eraser on those edges to make them less noticeable. Also, I see that to extend the background you flipped part of it around for the left side. To get rid of that line, try using the clone tool to merge the two sides of the background together.
other than that, keep up the good work!

Haha I only ever use the soft brush :l
I don't use brushes. I haven't used them for like a year and a half haha.
The BGs are normally made with c4ds and such but some are just stocks :3
These can be found on deviantART or other GFX forums.
I told you about GFXVoid a while ago :3. They have heaps of good resource packs.

The GFX community has been sluggish without you around, plus lilsparks leaving. It has just been SuperSleuth, and to a lesser extent, me, doing GFX.

Yeah I've noticed these days the GFX on this site is very minimal :l
I think it could also be due to the closure of the Slateport Market keeping GFXers active?
Haha and my style is still a work in progress ;)
Liquify is quite an awesome tool :3. I've tried using it before but failed aha

I'm currently trying to learn the Pochy Smudge Style. It IS GODLY.

I recommend Signature-Lab on dA. They host daily sig comps :3
They're a good way to get your work noticed as well. A lot of people view it
