July 'CoroCoro' Scans Leaking [7/11]

Nope, i'm pretty certain it's the actual ingame map of the region and thus with the shape it kinda gives off a balanced yin-yang type feel much like the game seems to be pointing towards so far.
Also if you look at the two bits of the map together that someone on serebii spotted:
Map.png

You can see it's not quite so linier and it kind of reminds me of kanto how all the cities seem to circle round with a bit jutting off, this also makes me believe there's definately going to be something in the way at parts etc and you need to go round, on top of this the map doesn't go into the middle which makes me think the map isn't complete and possibly you could walk through the middle where that special internet wifi thing place is.

All in all I believe this is definite a town map of some sorts, not a train map.
I agree with you. If you look closer there are green dots where the likely points of interest are, including the wetlands near the windmills and the moat/castle-like place, blast furnace(?) and so forth. Can't wait to see how the towns and points of interest look like :)

o_O!!!! Look at all the green dots!!!! Seems like you can explore some new areas that was hidden behind the right ice mountains. Notice the green dot in the sea. An island??

I'm going to disagree.

Like diaz said, and I said last night, it's way too linear to be a route map. I guessed a train, because we saw train tracks a long time ago in screen shots. It might not exactly be a train but I doubt it's the path you take on foot. It marks cities of interest but there are still spots on the map it's not reaching.

What about the "blast furnace" looking place in the way upper left that we saw on the Isshu regional map? No mark for it here. And no mark for the middle isle, which you can clearly go to because of bridges on either side. There's no water routes. Would GameFreak really get rid of them all together?

The map is just too simple/straight forward that I have trouble buying it's the actual routes. That would be there's only ~15 route roads in all of Isshu.

they have alot of info to cover for like only 2 more coro coro isues till black and white are released

Is the passing by feature like for when you pass someone by in real life? Cause I don't know anyone near me who plays pokemon (and is my age: 19 :p) Oh well...
Same thing here.I have a friend that has a DS but his 10 year sister plays with it and he doesnt. But she doesnt know to play pokemon. What a bad luck.!.!.!

There's at least 10 areas not connected by those "routes."

If they are routes, then that most likely means that the map is updated while you travel.

that will be cool if the map gets updated while you travel

It would be cool if Cheren and Yu(beru) were like traveling companions. It would make it more interesting to see what happens and the story would be more exciting (better narrated)

Sure, it may be too linear to be the actual in-game map (and of course way too detailed) the hexagonal shape makes sense seeing as it is only showing cities/towns and by looking at the full map, there aren't really any other paths to reach them. Then of course are the routes to non-cities/points of interest of which there are quite a few (that I can make out).
Map.png

The Blast Furnace is there, and so is the mark for the High Link (no road because it's not a city/town) Water routes seem to be very few, one near the top right of the map, and one near the starting town. Until we get a much clearer map of Isshu's routes, this is our best bet.

EDIT: Ninja'd D:

i wish they could just make the people in the games being able to speak so you can hear them that ill be awsome but thats not gonna happen soon

hey, did anyone ever translate out Minezumi's name to find out what its made of? I used google translate and the best i can get is Mi Rat, which makes no sense. I wouldnt dare try babelfish or any other translator. Anyone that knows japanese, or anyone who has seen the confirmed name parts?

Man! I think "N" seems to be a teenager. I mean, its like those characters is having more cool looking! I bet the protagonist is older as well. Well, Lets discuss this Munna evolution thingy. I kinda wondering why that Pokemon has to do something with an Exclusive or whatever feature like that anyway? Or...*gasp*!!! Could it be this Pokemon is the key to unlock a Legendary? Uhh, Never mind. But I bet this Pokemon is really something like a Key to unlock something or I don't know.

No offence, but your kinda late on the age thing.

anyone else think that the "villain" shown in this video is either N when he is older, his secret identity, or one of his relatives?

Thumbs up dude, finally someone who sees it like me and even put arrows etc on the map.
This is what I mean guys, I think it's a special route map that updates as you go along, there could be another map like the older ones whilst this one shows where you've been.
Or
They want you to try and find the other places yourself and only cities etc are shown?

Though I prefer my first theory that it updates as you go along.

Wooooow, DSi and 3DS users can use video chat. How great...
Psh, I'll stick with my DS Lite. >.>

And it's Rankurusu (the green blob) who has Magic Guard? It seems WAY more fitting for Gochiruzeru (the gothic tower girl).
Also, I'm so happy there's going to be a plane in Isshu! Even though a train would be nice, too. But a plane? W00T! :>
