Karate / Tae Kwan Doe / Other Martial Arts

RE: Karate/Tae Kwan Doe/Other Martial Arts

When I took my last class of Tae Kwon Do (I believe you spelled it wrong), I was a blue/green belt. I quit because the classes were beginning to clash with other events in my schedule.

Phew! Okay, so now its early August, and I started in early June, so its been almost 2 months now. Definitely starting to get into a real fighting groove these days. Sometimes I do a lousy job with my preparatory activities before the class, though. Like I could be stretching and doing calisthenics etc, but instead I spend a little too much "screen time".

Its been approximately 3 months. I've got some sort of problem with my knee. I believe a previous injury, although it healed, it still ended up limiting my range of motion, and I can't do a side kick. My master showed me a technique to try and teach my body that range of motion I had lost: sitting on the ground, to the side, and performing the kick from there. Also helping me to stretch that kink out. I feel its steadily making progress.

I've been dealing with Achilles tendinitis for the better part of the year - keep those calves stretched, people!

Though personally my martial arts are limited to a couple years of tae kwon doe as a child, recent I've become a fan of watching MMA.

Haha! I cherish backers as well as martial artists! I hope you can work at it again sometime, though! Its really a helpful practice, for others and yourself. As for me, its one highly noticeable realm where I can build and use power of my own within a group who cares about my progress!

Green belt in krav maga. I had to stop in the middle because I went to the army. I had a lot of fun there . It was twice per week and we had people from all ages. Kids and adult .I was the only teenager so I went to the adult class and the young class just for fun lol

aRRRGGHHH!!

School's up my throat all over again, and its been so hard convincing my dad to take me to my martial arts gym.... arrrggh.... I've missed, SEVERAL days of training.

Well in the middle of school, I've been scrapping along with 2-3 sessions a week. One of my sparring partners said I've come a long way! Haha, maybe.

My employer is making me work 50 hour weeks until the end of the year, so not a lot of time in the dojang for me. I did get to go last night though :)

I like capoeria and I tried try it I did some lessons but then I had to stop but capoeria is sweet. its hard to adjust to the style cause everything is constant moving and leg movements most of your attacks are gonna be leg base. its very tiring to but it was fun for me
