At Rank 5, Pokémon are allowed to evolve into their final stage and/or Mega-Evolve, so long as the trainer has obtained the necessary stone. Pokémon are allowed move tutor moves at this rank.

So wait. From the very first fight, we have all of the Pokémon's level-up moves available to us!?

That's right. Since all the matches will be played at level 100, you can use any level up or egg move.
Some TMs and Gen5 tutor moves may become available at different points in the game as well.

It's been almost a week it seems since sign ups began, and with what happened to the last one, I vote we get started sooner rather than later.
So if everybody who has already signed up can send me their pokemon, we'll see what happens at that time.

I'll do it after school. You banned Lapras, so I don't really have a lot to work with here...

I have got a couple questions I need to ask though, so I'll PM them to you to help me pick my Pokemom.

(If you didn't know, there are I think 14 Ice Type Pokemon families? Something like that! Anyway, KoN banned Amaura, Lapras, Articuno and Kyurem, leaving me with very few Pokemon to work with (on second though is it 13 families? Jeez, I only leave one out by choice! :0))

Well, you are free to change type whenever. However, I do remember unbanning Lapras in the last one, so we'll let that one slide here as well. (As much as I think it'll be a bad idea, but I'm pretty sure there's ways around it.)

Send some of the competetive battlers in Vgc forums an invite. Most don't look down here anyway.

Nah, Grass and Ice are my favourite types, but Grass is too generic for something like this. It's gotta be Ice! ;D

I'm not sure that that's such a good idea. These battles are singles right? VGC is doubles, and the different styles are actually incredibly different while playing the metagames competitively.

And I'm supposed to know this. Just go spam Akwila, CMP, Prince Dedenne and the other competitive battlers already. I want to see this game started (and finished, with ice winning).

WanderingWolf, you know people are allowed to sign up with the same type, right? You can still join with Ice as well. I recall Lapras being unbanned for Ice in the last game, but not for Water. Water would be too OP with it, whereas Ice would stand a slightly better chance with it. :p

Sign ups aren't closed at all Drohn. :p
I just wanted everybody to start getting their lists sent in so the game doesn't go inactive like the last one.
