Have any of you played the game? Did you like it? Do you think Nintendo will make a second one for the Wii, etc? Discuss everything on this game!

I used to play it...It was actually the first Kirby game I owned and it was a rather decent one at that.

I loved playing as Metaknight, and I do indeed wish nintendo would release a sequel or perhaps a re-release at the least...Air Ride was just one of those games you would play endless. It was addicting and carried a great deal of variety.

I liked it better than Mario Kart at the time, its just a game nintendo IMO should Bring back, however, chances are they might not...Which is a shame...Considering Mario Kart is there main staple in the racing genre, unless one were to include F-Zero which hasn't seen a release title in over five years...

That game is beast. I still play it. I don't know whether or not it will see a sequel in the near future, since there are already two Kirby games in development (Kirby Wii + Kirby Mass Attack), and Kirby games just don't come as often anymore. However, hopefully they'll release it for Wii U someday.

I liked the events that happened throughout the city in City Trial. That was probably my favorite mode, just because of the replay value compared to the other two modes. The best events had to be the meteors, the UFO, and Dyna Blade appearing. Collecting the parts for the legendary Air Ride Machines was fun, too, especially when you're playing with a friend.

I played it, it was cool. Top Ride was my favorite mode; I remember spending like five hours clearing the challenge board all by myself.

Me, my brother, and my friend knocked out all of City Trial's missions and had almost all of Air Ride done. Some of them proved to be extremely difficult, so much that we never actually beat them (beat Machine Passage with Rex Wheelie and beat Some Other Board with Rocket Star both within a ridiculous time).

Sadly, I don't have the game anymore, but as ZG said, it was just a game you could play over and over again. I also loved playing City Trial since I would make it my mission to make my favorite car, the Formula Star, worth using. Seven or eight Turn combined with about eight Boost is enough to make the Formula Star very formidable in a race. All bets are off if you're not doing a race (raise your hand if you've gone FFFFFUUUUUUU.jpg after the game said you were doing a race BUT OOPS THE GAME LIED JK GUYS VS KING DEDEDE LOL).

/me raises his hand.

This one was of my favorite games for the Gamecube. Meta Knight was my favorite :D

Best game ever. I still have a copy, but it is kind of messed up. I loved Dee-dee Dee, or is that a different game?
Also, did anybody ever beat that dragon thing in Multiplayer?

Oh my Arceus. I loved that game so much. Funny thing is, I found it because I played it at my friends house a while ago, (And It would have been hard to talk to him since he moved). One day, I suddenly remembered (with very vague memories) a game where you would race around a city instead of a track. I did some research on the internet, and found it: Kirby Air Ride. I bought it the next day. :3

I've had a lot of good times with that game, and I still continue to play it endlessly. I beat the City Trial recordboard, but then I lost the memory card. Oh well.

Some of my favorite cars could be:
* Wagon Star - Great top speed plus some great turning makes for a fun and quick ride.
* Turbo Star - Overall great top speed and great charging (If done right).

And, to finish off this legnthy post, I recently started making plans for Kirby Air Ride 2. I drew box art, mapped out a title sequence, and made plans for 7 new Air Ride courses and about 8 new Stars. (I planned out 15, but I ran out of ideas) It's still a work in progress. I only did this because I wanted to see a sequel pretty badly.
Some of the new ideas were (I don't have the plans with me so I have forgotten some of my ideas):
Courses
Crystal Cavern - A cavern full of crystals.
Patch Land - A scenic view through Kirby's most recent (to date) adventures.
Foggy Moorland - A hilly course with limited visibility.
Ocean Cliffs - A fun ride over the ocean, through waterfalls, and up a cliff. (It seemed like a cool idea)
Stars
Grind Star - Reaches speeds of around 100mph on Grind Rails!
Crystal Star - Very fast, but don't take damage... (To go with Crystal Caverns)
Stadiums
Pencil Derby - Kirby draws lines behind him as he races around. Don't run into them!
Scavenger Hunt 1,2,3,4,5 - Search for the designated items around multiple courses.

Well, enough with my rambling. But, to say the least, Kirby Air Ride was a very underrated game, and definitely deserves a sequel.
