Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake?

Sorry, slightly updated is an overstatement. I meant slightly in the sense that since the music is generated in realtime on the systems, and since they are different systems, they couldn't have the exact same sequence of sounds. Everything had to be recreated. Apparently, the quality has also been slightly enhanced.

Try looking at pages 2, 3, and 4 of this Iwata Asks interview.

According to that, there is a song that is orchestrated, so that is new.

I dislike the additional ocarina buttons :( They should have ported most if not all of the n64 version over (the menu design as well). I Do like the additional item slot instead of just 3 though. I'm not that far yet (because I'm lazy/playing fallout, and prepping for nats) but that's my opinion so far on it

I know for a fact there is an additional ending theme, which sounds amazing, after the original one. There may be some more in the Master quest though.

@CMP

Just thought I should note a slight change in the soundtrack from the N64 version. In the original Nintendo 64 version, the Fire Temple music was a looped Muslim chant. This offended the Muslim community, so in the Gamecube Collectors Edition version and the Gamecube Master Quest version, the Fire Temple music had the Muslim chant edited out.The edited version is also present in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D.

It was a gift if you register the game on Club Nintendo within a couple days after the game released.

I can't wait for my very own copy. It should be as epic as the game itself.

dmaster out.

FlamingDriscoll09, it was not present in the Nintendo 64 version either. It was only present in the gold color cartridge version of Ocarina of Time.

What is probably most epic about Skyward Sword is that you get to ride a bird! I think Link looks really creepy in SS though :-/
Luckily it's first person so I don't have to see his face very much :D

I really enjoyed playing through Oot 3D, its great to see the improve graphics and discover all the easter eggs. The Masterquest was an excellent experience and as dmaster said, compared to it "The normal quest was easier than dirt." Its also the first time I've been bothered to do a 100% run and the boss gauntet is both extremely hard and a lot. All in all, the game is definitely worth the money.

Just to clarify even further:

There are three different versions of game cartridges: 1.0 (NUS-CZGE-USA), 1.1 (NUS-CZLE-USA), and 1.2 (NUS-CZLE-USA-1). The differences are minor, but include cartridge color (1.1 and 1.2 are gray, 1.0 can be gold or gray) and the swordless glitch in 1.0 that was fixed in 1.1. Also from version 1.0 to version 1.1, a glitch where you could steal the fishing pole was removed. From version 1.1 to 1.2 the color of Ganon's blood was changed from red to green. Minor glitches in the Twinrova fight scene were corrected. In-game elements relating to Muslim culture, such as the background music of the Fire Temple (which included a choir that Nintendo felt resembled a holy Muslim chant), as well as the emblem on the Mirror Shield (whose design was a crescent moon and a star, also a symbol associated with Islamic culture), were altered in version 1.2 to avoid offending Muslims.[58] The shield design was changed in the GameCube version. The symbol is also seen on other more minor objects such as blocks. In each subsequent version until 1.2, some very minor pieces of dialog were re-translated.

All Japanese cartridges for the Nintendo 64 are version 1.0. In North America, all three versions were released (in fact, all gold cartridges were 1.0). In Europe, only 1.1 and 1.2 were available. The Virtual Console release seems to be 1.2, once again with the emblem change from GCN versions.

Its not in first person, it has moments when its first person such as when you use the bow and arrow or slingshot but for the most part, its not in first person.
