^Huh.... Over here in England we learn that in Year 8 (Grade 8, I think)

It's desperately annoying, especially what they call me.

Registration:

Bertie: "Wassup, nerd? Head feeling good after that homework?"

Me: "Get stuffed."

Flaminia: "Nerd!"

Rory: I present to you, Lord Nerd!"

Me: "I wish, Rory, that you were a haddock. Them the underlying metaphor my similes can be executed simultaneously."

Bertie: "Yerwhat?"

Elly: "Frickin' nerd. You taste of ham."

They all get detention.

You done gradients yet? Ratio of vertical heights to horizontal width? I'm in First Year, which is our Year 9 (I'm English too!). Still, I'm in the top maths set... Pythagoras' Thereom amazes most of them...

Wow. I'm in 9th Grade, and I don't know what a gradient is. But we covered the Pythagoras Theorem last year, but it was at the end of the year. We'll probably cover gradients sometime this year, just not now.:p

I'm starting limited opposites and have finished Pythagoras' Thereum, but let's keep on topic and not get to a point where we compare skills in maths.

Yeah... I liked the last chapter. It exemplified the underlying metaphornof the simile which produced much of the humanity of the piece of literature.

... I have no idea what I just said...

To put it simply, it was good.
