the polar bears were used to turn the wheel that moves the island. Tihs is confirmed when we see charlotte in the desert digging up the polar bear remains in the middle of a desert with a daharma station hydra colar on it.

not sure about the bird but i'm sure it is just another daharma experiment.

How does seeing Charlotte seeing a Polar Bear with the DHARMA logo on its collar prove it was used to turn the wheel? We don't know what the wheel really is. When they're first drilling the Orchid site, they say they found a massive amount of energy. This was probably the force that allows the island to move through time and space. How they built the wheel it unclear, but it doesn't have to do with Polar Bears.

My theory about the Hurley Bird is that it was Jacob. Like many animals on the island, the Hurley Bird appeared at a pivotal point in the storyline and was there to warn the survivors of impending danger. That's what Jacob does, he protects people.

There are a lot of questions that weren't really answered, but some of them you can understand on your own. Like, they never explain why Widmore and Ben fight, but you kind of have an idea why.

Did they ever explain the invisible monster thing from season 1?

Eh. Kinda. It's a bit hard to explain, you'd have to watch all the episodes thus far to find out. xD

So wait, it was a person? But how was it invisible then?

Spoiler alert:

RE: LOST.

And I thought it was confusing enough. Reading that made sense but alot more confusion as to what I have missed.

That's what Jacob does NOW. Only NOW has the show come up with a "reason" for why he's supposedly "important". Six years and this is what they came up with? Good versus evil? Where is all this free will versus destiny nonsense coming into play, the island was supposed to be a natural, scientific, and mystical mystery. Now it's some sort of platform for God and whatever.

Well to be fair, they warned us of this in the very first episode, where Locke holds up the backgammon pieces and declares, "one side is dark, one side is light". This basically hints the entire plot of the show right there.

"It only ends once. Everything before that is just progress." Gotta love that quote.

ANYWAY, what did you all think of tonight's episode? THEORY TIME!

- On the wheel in the Lighthouse, the number "108" is Wallace. Wallace might be the person who is coming to the island?

- Number 51 on the wheel is "Austen". I guess Kate isn't going to die, yet her name was crossed out in the cave, but not on the wheel. Interesting.

- They went over those skeletons from season 1. Yeah, you remember those guys, when Jack was looking for water he found the caves. Well, Hurley brought up the possibility that they're from the past, but they're the survivors, so they're technically from the future. It was a male and female, so it could have been Jack and Kate.

- Christian, Jack's dad, wasn't in the coffin in the main timeline (but he still was on the plan), yet in the alternate timeline he was never put on the plane. Claire refers to "her father" (Christian) and "her friend" (Jacob's Nemesis) separately, so this possibly means that the man in Jacob's cabin claiming to be Christian was ACTUALLY Christian!

Next week's episode is called "Sundown". No spoilers there!

How many seasons later did Jacob become an actual character?

"It only ends once. Everything before that is just progress."

Progress towards the end, which the progress in of itself is part of the end.

RE: LOST.

Anyone else really, really hoping to see more of Ben Linus... the history teacher? lol

RE: LOST.

Man, I really need to watch an episode. Anyways, here's an article I found that's kind of interesting.

Love the ending to Locke's Dad, Redeeming Facts: He died.

Nice article on Lost.

@Gengar Are you talking about Jin? Because he's Korean.

RE: LOST.

nah, I think he meant Dogen. But we already know what has happened to him! This week Desmond-centric. A bit sad i have to wait till Friday before i can watch...

Really want to know what Widmore is up to, and if he's going to play all by himself or joins Jack & friends

RE: LOST.

I'll leave this open because I love LOST and there's discussion to be had. Mostly because I love LOST.

Last night's episode was AMAZING! The way the Original Timeline is bleeding through to the Flash-Sideways is brilliant. I'm curious how Eloise will play into all of this...

I'm guessing Widmore will eventually join up with Ilana's group. Next week is a Hurley episode, and in the preview we saw him talking to MICHAEL. That should be very interesting!

RE: LOST.

shht! I still have to watch 'Happily ever after' :p In the Netherlands the air each ep 3 days (Friday) after it airs in America :) so each week I have to try to avoid spoilers XD cause I don't have time to watch it on internet that tuesday :p Waah!!

RE: LOST.

Haha, that's rough. You'll absolutely love the episode once you see it. I think it might even top "The Constant" or "Ab Aeterno". I really think it sets up a satisfying ending for the series. We'll see!

What do you guys think about the finale being titled, "The End"? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Personally, I think the simplicity of it kind of mocks the show, but I do think that it's fitting. There isn't much else they could have called it, is there?

RE: LOST.

I know, can't wait till tonight!

And even top Ab Aeterno o_0 I loved that episode! Well, I'll see, just a few more hours

Think 'The End' is fitting. It aint really anything special. At least, it doesnt really get me excited. But whatever, i'll probably watch it multiple times xD
