Lost World?

If you have good sources tell us what they are or you have no credibility.

Anyway, IMO if Lost World comes out we're the meta will suffer more than with SP rule. Unlike SPs, Lost World cannot be countered, as you play when the conditions are met and win. Next, only about 4 cards can use Lost World, Absol G lv X, Palkia G lv X, Gengar Prime, and Giritina (lv X and Broken-Space Blow.) The easiest to get (Giritina) can barely get set-up. Further Gengar has Mew to second turn remove two, and Spiritomb/Vileplume lock, so even if it has a slower start it can easily slow the opponent to a crawl and then conquer the game. Can these be countered? Certainly, but it will be very difficult, and we'll face the same problem SP has only more centralized. Further after Worlds (if POP sticks to their promise and cuts to RR) then we'll only have Absol and Gengar (Gengar being far superior) and overly-centralizing. These are the exact reasons why it is both unwise and overly destructive to release Lost World, and thus I hope that Lost World is cut.

EDIT: (Also Porygon-2 can easily be teched to get the stadium)

@MTSOA That is a good point. If it does come out I just hope we will get a good counter with it. Remember, a lot of our cards are probably gonna be new and english-exclusive like PK, so who knows what else we might get out of CoL.

twins would be the easiest way to get what you need since u will never knock of pokemon with a lostgar deck.

again, what it comes down to is speed. do you KO 6 of your opponent's pokemon first, or does you opponent put 6 of your pokemon in the lost zone?
i still think KO are easier to come by than putting pokemon in the lostzone.(if you only have 1 heavy hitter tank like t-tar prime, and no bench, your opponent cant do anything about that)

also, with lost world out, ull see more lost world decks vs lost world decks. this could be fun

Pffft, who needs credibility? You can prove any point you want to make with pretty much anything these days - just ask *shot*
Someone (name shall remain hidden) who is involved with TPCI has told me that Lost World was going to be in the English set after Triumphant - namely, Call of Legends.
And that is how I know; can we move on, please?

I don't think Lost World will have that big of an impact. To really use it you'd need a deck like Absol GX or Gengar Prime, and since Pokemon has no side-deck concept like Yugioh, teching 1 into a deck is impractical anyway, as not a lot of decks utilize the Lost Zone as a game-changing mechanic. That's my two bits.

^wow. Time to stock up on Gengar Primes :).
How does mew prime help lostgar?

Sounds to me that this is all the more reason for people to start stacking Stadium cards in their decks. I also do know there are a handful of Pokemon that discard Stadium cards as part of their attacks. Lost World is certainly a bit of a threat, but it sounds to me like it is by no means broken.

Here's a thought...how many cards are we lacking from previous sets, thirty or so...we're looking at a total of how many cards for Call of Legends, like 90 or 100...we already know they have to have some 'American' exclusive cards (which Japan will undoubtfully get another way, as they did with Power Keepers stuff) due to the fact that we have all the known Primes and LEGENDS. Maybe some of the 'exclusive' cards might be Pokemon or other trainers that might go off of removing Pokemon from the Lost Zone to use it's effects.

@ Card Slinger J: I don't know much about Naruto, but I do know that any 'exclusive' cards we've gotten have always been given to Japan at some point (case in point, Dark Raichu we got in Team Rocket, Japan got it in Neo 2 and the aforementioned Power Keepers) but we have plenty of Japanese cards that never made it to English (first point being most of the Vending Macine cards) so I wouldn't worry about power creeps that only we can do that no foreign player couldn't because they don't have the cards.

Have you learned nothing from Luxray? It's hard to get yet it is the most prominent card in the format for the last two years. Also Gengar doesn't need Trainer's to survive, and Gengar could easily tech something to knock out Dialga G.

Mew Prime helps Lostgar by sending Gengar to the Lost Zone and then using Gengar's first attack.

EDIT: ^ Again Lost World only needs to be played once you have met its conditions, so your opponent won't get a chance to counter the stadium.

@Card Slinger J
Who talked about Counter? What I said was that there were pratically nothing that can stop it. That is why it should not be out.
@daviduk2000
Sorry but they will keep their Lost World card in their hands and put it in play when you are going to have 6 pokemon in your lost zone. Plus a good Lostgar deck will surely have some pokemon that can bring a stadium in play.

LOOK EVERYBODY, THEY WILL ONLY PUT THEIR STADIUM ONCE YOU HAVE 6 POKEMON IN THE LOST ZONE. It is not hard to understand!

Dialga G can only counter it for a few turns. Dialga G Lv.X is a Waste because of Gengar Lv.X will level down your pokemon and lost zone it.

@wang zitong: Level-Down returns the card to the deck, not to the hand. You couldn't immediately hurl the Dialga GX into darkness after using the power.
What this deck really needs, though, is Dark Designator *shot again*
Edit: This is what I mean by Dark Designator.

My bad!

Anyway, it still get it out for some turns so, no worry. Plus, even if it is in play, a good build of Lostgar will not be scared of it. SP always has some pokemon in the hands and a lot of bench for Palkia G lv.X to send so...

@DNA
what do you mean by Dark Designator?

Why NOT release it? Who cares if SP dies, or whatever Gengar will dominate? A lot of you seem to think that this is going to be a Japan-only card, which only makes sense in the Distortion World. If Japan has gotten to play it already, why can't we? If they're going to play it at Worlds, why can't we? I'm 99.999999999% sure that it'll be released in the new set, or at least somewhere. If it's not, I have to literally rethink me entire life. That's how positive I am that it'll be released.

Once it IS released (I won't say if) I think any Pokemon that can consistently get KOs without having to let anything sit in their hand will be nice. Dialga G works for Deafen Lock. T-tar easily one shots it by T3 every turn without even wasting 3 cards (With a Sp. Dark).

then they will need to also play BTS or you will just send their gengar and haunter to the lost zone on your next attack. Also, if the U.S. doesn't get Lost World (which i don't think will happen) it won't be playable by anyone at Worlds because isn't it ran using the U.S. format (i.e MD-on with our cards and not HGSS-on like Japan).

But if you play vileplume they can't play the lost world

That only counts If we get the same new rule changes that Japan has currently and we still got another set before Black & White Base Set is released.
