After Jessie's journey through Kalos, her story as a Pokémon Trainer undercover for Team Rocket will continue as she is sent to Sinnoh to unravel the plots of the sinister Team Galactic. Now that she's proven herself as a capable trainer, she will be starting out on her own with no help from Team Rocket, capturing her own Pokémon to make a capable team.
And thus is born Part II of the Jessie Playthrough Saga, this time a "Choose My Team" run of Pokémon Platinum where members of the community will be the ones to decide on which Pokémon Jessie will be using on her adventure. Details on giving nominations are below.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to share ideas and suggestions for the run."Choose My Team":
The most integral part of a CMT run is letting members of the community pick and choose which Pokémon I'll be using. So, please nominate a maximum of 4 Pokémon under the following conditions:
- I will be using one of the Sinnoh starters. Please vote for which starter you think I should use (Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup) and suggest a possible nickname for it. The starter with the most votes will be used.
- In addition to your starter nomination, you can suggest up to 3 additional Sinnoh-dex Pokémon and nicknames for them. Trade Evos are okay (I can trade back and forth using my hubby's DS and my copy of Pearl). Keep in mind that I will be playing Platinum, so make sure to only suggest Pokémon that are available in that game natively.

Currently, the only rule I have in place is that other people will picking my team, so if you have any other suggestions, you're welcome to share.
Just keep in mind that I'm doing this for fun, and not necessarily for difficulty, so rules that only exist to make the game harder and less fun (like not being able to buy potions and Pokéballs), or rules that add unnecessary complexity (like rolling a dice to see what Pokémon I should use in battle or whatever) will be automatically discounted. Roles:
Obviously Jessie will be taking the main role, which means we'll have the male counterpart (Lucas) and a male rival (Barry). One and the other could probably be James and Ash, but which one being which is open for suggestion, along with any other possible suggestions you might have for assignments for those two. I also have a role set aside for Professor Rowan. Otherwise, all other NPCs are available for you guys to suggest roles for, whether it's PokéBeach people or other anime characters or whatever.

Q: What's a PHIPAQ?
A: Since I haven't been asked any questions yet, I can't rightfully have a FAQ, so I have a PHIPAQ instead. It stands for: Potentially Helpful Information Phrased As Questions. I like providing information in the form of a Q&A, deal with it.
Q: OMG, if you're doing this are you still going to keep working on your other Playthrough, and keep writing Mysteries of the Forgotten Island!?
A: Yep! I'm still plugging away at Team Rocket's Revenge and haven't given up on that, for good or ill, and plan to see it through to completion. I'm also still working on Mysteries on and off, even though I'm in something of a slump with it at the moment.
Q: When will this start?
A: Once TRR is done I'll move onto this. I'm getting close to the end now, and I don't think I have more than a week or two left at most, so I thought I'd get this thread up and running so I'll have my team all worked out by the time I'm ready to start.
Q: Do we not get an introduction for this one like we did for the last one? :<
A: The introduction will depend on how TRR ends, since the storyline will obviously be different based on if Jessie succeeds or fails with the Pokémon League and possibly other factors. As such, it's much too soon for me to write one! I'll post up an introductory prologue before I begin playing, though.
Q: How often do you plan on updating?
A: About as often as I updated the other one, which ranged from daily updates to almost a month in between once. It depends on how much time and/or desire I have to play and any other commitments I might have going on.
Q: How long will your chapters be?
A: If you look at TRR, you'll notice my chapters tend to be rather long, since I tend to focus on the plot of things. They're not as long as a fanfic chapter or anything, but they'll take you more than a couple minutes to read.
Q: Are you going to keep doing these after this one, too?
A: Probably! It's a fun way to play through a Pokémon game.
I could still do a traditional Nuzlocke in a different region, a mono-type run in another, or other types of runs, too, perhaps even playing through some of the weird ROM hacks and the like.
