Some japanese dude just won worlds with luxchomp w/dialga. He was playing against an american with plox w/machamp.



Masters: Luxchomp
Seniors: Luxchomp
Juniors: Jumpluff

Those are the winners.

Well it finally happened. I wish some rouge deck no one expected would win, but this seemed to be the best deck all year and it proves it now.

Yay the most popular deck won worlds *sarcasm* but he definitely deserved to win he went 7-0 in swiss rounds. Congrats to Yuta Komatsuda!

Edit: It's nice to see that Jumpluff won worlds.
 
YEA JUMPLUFF!!!!!!!

Figures LuxChomp won Seniors and Master .__. No one from the US won :(

Wow luxchomp wins worlds! Now it will go from 75% to 90% of all players playing luxchomp! sweet.....(builds straight champ)
 
....dang.....no awsomely new deck that one like luxdrill that was a cool build silvestro made last year and the tiger decks wer cool to but this is IMO a dissapointment i wish the PLOX machamp deck won that i wonder if they all net-decked unlike silvestro and maybe some others from last year :(
 
It would have been better in my opinion if something more creative than Luxchomp won.... :/ Like some sort of Rogue deck. Thank god Jumpluff won Juniors. Luxchomp's too popular. And it still has one more format before finally dying.... :(

I'm glad Jumpluff won something, even if it was Juniors. Could someone post the winner's names? My computer can't access Pokemon.com...
Anyway, no surprise, it's a great deck, and it was obviously played by a great player if he could beat a Plox/Machamp (seems like it's engineered to beat SP...). So yeah, congrats to the winners.

Juniors: Yuka Furusawa (Japan)
Seniors: Jacob Lesage (Canada) YAY!! From Canada!!
Masters: Yuta Komatsuda (Japan)

It was obvious that LuxChomp was gonna win Seniors, and something simple like Jumpluff would win Juniors. However I personally thought that Sablelock would win Masters but if it was LuxChomp, it makes sense that it wasn't a simple list and had some dominating tech like Dialga. So... great. LuxChomp might as well DOUBLE in popularity next year... X(
 
well it looks like the stream of fake worlds luxray X's on eBay won't be stopping any time soon. Now there will be like 3 versions...

Maybe they start to be allowed in official play :D.... what I can dream can't I
