Yay Canada!

Darn luxchomp. It's popularity will never cease now.

That's cool I guess. Too bad that Gyarados with AMU didn't win whatever division it was in. That would've been kinda cool.

Okay fine, luxchomp won. Who DIDN'T See that coming?

Now with a new season upon us, I'd like to see a shift AWAY from the SP decks.

I don't want to see SP decks win worlds for the next 2 years. (Not counting this year or last)

I don't think the Lost Link set will change the meta too drastically though I guess you really never know. (Supposing it gets released this season)

Well it finally happened. I wish some rouge deck no one expected would win, but this seemed to be the best deck all year and it proves it now.

SpiritPlume is gonna win Next year in San Diego lol

Gotta love how you guys all think that the popular decks of today are going to win Worlds next format. We have 4 sets of cards and a whole year difference, that will change the meta drastically. I mean, RayBees won last Worlds but pretty much died after Cities...

Looks like I was wrong about Sablelock winning Worlds afterall. I had a feeling it didn't have the same "punch" as LuxChomp did.

Congrads to the winners and hope everone else that went had fun. I reckon that Luxchomp (in seniors), Sablelock (in masters)will win next year not to sure about juniors. too bad no one from Australia won.[/b]

Are you kidding? Worlds 2010 just proved that LuxChomp is a much better consistent deck than Sablelock which lacks bench control because it doesn't run Luxray for Bright Look.

I knew there was something wrong with Sablelock cause it seems like an easy deck to beat once you get the right setup going against it and the 2 prize advantage from an Expert Belt attached to Sableye doesn't help your Opponent's situation either. LuxChomp on the other hand is a whole other ballgame.

Out of my playtesting Charizard has more trouble beating LuxChomp than it does against Sablelock, because Bright Look wins games. Why do you think Luxray GL Lv. X is a $70 card and it won in last year's Worlds?

Do you think LuxChomp would still be just as good without Claydol and as consistent as it was this year at Worlds?

^Im not sure, but I do know this; Luxray GL Lv X will go up to $110 (Roughly) in value now.
Good luck getting one.

I still think that much demand on a card is obscene, and this is the same problem Magic: The Gathering is having with the majority of Mythic Rares is that the card prices will skyrocket to around $30-$70 a pop and it's just ridiculous to pay that much especially a playset as well.

Jace, the Mind Sculptor is going for $70 same with Luxray GL Lv. X but now because that Luxray won Worlds again it's price may double making it the hardest Pokemon Lv. X EVER to be obtained. It just disgusts me how the Secondary Market is jacking up card prices these days.

There should be some kind of fair regulation but instead it's all about supply and demand and it just gets annoying. Bear in mind that Sablelock is a much cheaper deck to build than LuxChomp yet it probably didn't do as good as most people thought it would at Worlds cause it's now being proven that the most expensive decks are winning.

I'm worried that the Pokemon TCG is starting to become just as bad of a rich man's game as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering. Yu-Gi-Oh! I hear is starting to become cheaper in terms of changing card rarities to decrease the value of the cards themselves and Magic is still doing fairly decent not printing too many chase Mythics.

Okay here is something that has been bugging me for a while now;
If Luxray's value is based on how well it does, then why isnt Garchomp C Lv X worth a lot?

Tin or not, its in the BDIF and should therefore be worth $30+ dollars.

Because it's in a tin... It makes it that much easier to get.

Oh well, I still can't get over how overrated Sablelock was. Can't say I really blame Steven Silvestro for trying something new but yeah, Luxray still wins.

Really? thats all?

So if luxray came out in a tin all of a sudden, (obviously wont) it would then drop in value to maybe 15 dollars?

Obviously. Luxray GL LV.X is that expensive because not only is it used in the top tier metagame decks, but also because it's freaking rare...50% pull rate from a RR box I believe?

Garchomp C LV.X ranges from $5 to $10 since the Chomp tins are so easy to get, and cheap too. Also, the pull rate for a Chomp C X from the boosters should be a lot higher than the Lux GL X. You see tons of the booster version Chomp around compared to the number Lux's seen (or at least, the league where I go).

Yeah. SV had a really high Lv.X ratio. So that also makes Chomp easy to get.
