So I found some Mad Libs books yesterday, but I had no one to madly lib with, so I decided to turn on my computer and bam, pokebeach happened. So, without further adieu, here are the rules, straight from the books.

MAD LIBS is a game for people who don't like games! It can be played by one, two, three, four, or forty.
In this tablet you will find stories containing blank spaces where words are left out. One player, the READER, selects one of these stories. The READER does not tell anyone what the story is about. Instead, he/she asks the other players, the WRITERS, to give him/her words. These words are used to fill in the blank spaces in the story.
The READER asks each WRITER in turn to call out a word--an adjective or a noun or whatever the space calls for--and uses them to fill in the blank spaces in the story. The result is a MAD LIBS game.

When the READER then reads the completed MAD LIBS game to the other players, they will discover that they have written a story that is fantastic, screamingly funny, shocking, sill, crazy, or just plain dumb--depending on which words each WRITER called out.

UPDATE: After suggesting a word to the READER, you may only suggest another word after 2 other people have posted a word, or 24 hours have passed since you suggested your last word.

No signups needed! Just tell me what number and what word you want and we are one step closer to finishing a Mad Lib. First come first serve, fools.

Dear Diary: What a boiling day! I forgot my gym rope, so the dumb teacher made me do a hundred fishing jacks. I was late getting to homeroom, and the teacher made me write 13 times, "I promise not to be golden ever again." As if that's not enough, I was in the bathroom, and I dropped my report in the gunship! I can't turn in a soaking wet rotisserie, so I'm probably going to get an A! Did I mention someone spilled a bowl of nutritious soup all over me at lunch? And worse than that, I bit into an apple at lunch and cracked the filling in my shaven molar. u w0t m8?! I guess I just got up on the wrong side of the walrus this morning.

RE: Mad Libs!

Alright it seems so far we have a nutritious rope. This is getting good already! I hope its tasty

RE: Mad Libs!

13 boiling nutritious fishing ropes. Wait... Boiling>nutritious. Well this is what we wanted right.

RE: Mad Libs!

Aren't we supposed to, you know, see the already made story so we don't just randomly pick at strings and hope that the story somehow ends up good?

Meh, I'll take the exclamation, 12:

"u w0t mate?!"

No that's what makes the game fun
Classically you play with 2-3 people
One person acts as the speaker while he takes turns asking each of the other players to "fill in the blank" (that's why you are asked for specific things IE Noun). Once all the blanks are filled in you read it aloud and share a laugh at how hilariously unsensible the story is

Different strokes then. When I was younger, the reader called out the story, then asked for each word before proceeding the story.
