Would a role reveal help the situation
A group of townies that all townread eachother and work together on reads to catch the scum and PoE the game.
Trying to find scum would help the situation.
Your immediate thought is that you want to help the situation but doing that is not by achieving town's wincon of catching scum but instead by achieving scum's wincon of surviving.
Upon inspection of the Pokémon I could’ve used last night, 2 had an ability that has an effect on vote counts. Alakazam and Butterfree both effect their target in a way that their vote matches the users vote. Butterfree’s was locked and Alakazam wasn’t. I used that on Scattered. Multiple Pokémon can have a similar thing in this game.

I am VERY confused as to why I can vote scattered again. My original plan was to find out who used the Ability to lock my vote. Now that I don't have that as my reasoning anymore, I guess I'll simply keep tabs on who had which Pokemon.

That is what we are trying to figure out, which factors are at play here. Its impossible to know them all but its as good as anything when we are grasping at straws.
It almost goes without saying, but agreeing with someone doesn't make that person scummy. If it did, then town would never win, as their only tool is agreeing after discussion.
