I'm still fairly new to this game and I was participating in RVS. What else was I supposed to do with my vote? I do understand that new players panic––I was a new player once and I panicked quite a bit in my first game––but that doesn't mean that they get to avoid any and all suspicion. I've also only played in three Day 1 phases thus far, so it's still fairly new to me.
A reason why I can suspect TheSceptileMaster. He seems very jumpy and nervous, and he also seems like he's new scum trying not to get himself lynched. Right now, I can't see him being town. Remember TAE, in your first game, you subbed in as scum. It isn't impossible for a new player to be scum.
Ok, although I don't think it is true in TAE's case. It looks to me that he kinda knows what he's doing.
I think his actions (bandwagoning, switching votes when I call him out, his recent posts in general) indicate a confused player that is panicking a little, which is what I expect from town. He's not checking the boxes that generally give away new scum, particularly calmness when under fire. I also suspect that scum will generally not be trigger-happy immediately because they know everyone else is town. Of course, there is always exceptions, but to me this combined is enough indication to me that he's not a good Day 1 lynch right now.
That said, he could be an exception and his strange unvoting could indicate scum, but my read atm is that he's town.
Hopefully that makes more sense. ^.^

I agree with PP here. This is TAE's first Day 1 (and second game), so he's would still be learning the ropes, but he should have a better idea of what's going on than Inferno and TSM.
Because if I commented on it, you would've dug at me more. I should've known commenting on RVS was a bad idea...
This is scum mindset. Not commenting gives me nothing to go off and actually makes you look much worse.
You're right. I just didn't want to be called out for something that I have a bad read on in the first place. I commented on RVS last game I played in and it turned into an entire full-blown case. :U

This sounds extremely panicky and worried to me, as if TSM is scared the other players won't believe he's in EST/EDT. Reading this particular post as a bit towny, but I'm still not fully convinced yet.

You kind of did. You presented a point against him, regardless of whether or not anyone believes it, a point against someone is what influences people to vote said person.
@TheAnticipationEevee How do you know the bolded information? Town shouldn't know for sure who's town or not.
Not sure what to think of SceptileMaster, but Inferno looks towny to me. This is why you have to think hard when answering questions.

I'd also like to mention that Robin has seen the thread, and yet hasn't posted yet. Which is weird because iirc in OitC he was pretty active during the first few days.
