Now that I have read over the points about rainyman123, and is playing in DucjHunt, his position on wanting the mafia to win is useless to us even if he is town since he would probably just "help" mafia win or plain not be an asset. Therefore,

##UNVOTE: NinjaPenguin
##VOTE: rainyman123

I think that we should watch Rainy carefully, but give him a chance. I'm not placing votes just yet, though.

The thing that you've missed is that rainyman posted about rooting for mafia here around the same time as his "rooting for mafia" post in DH. He got lynched after that. So, it can't be determined whether or not he has learnt from his mistakes just yet.
Ahh.
But we're not here to discuss scummy plays in other games
Surely you're not serious? >.>
until he shows up, arguing about it is completely useless, and is apparently only slowing the game down.
Welp, you heard the man. Let's not have any discussion about who's scum and who's not, at least until everyone has been given time to come up with a defense! :D
Also not liking how I come in today to see I already have 2 friggin votes.
This bugs me a bit.
Going to withold my vote for now until there's a more credible lynch candidate.
You could also, y'know, use it for a bit of pressure, 'specially considering how this is D1. Lots of things a vote is good for. JS. :L

I considered it, but there's already pressure votes. Will do it if it's really needed.

Also js but being peeved about having votes can mean you're sus and don't want to be busted imho.

NinjaPenguin seems to be going way less aggressively this time around, which makes me think he's Town in this, but scum in Duck Hunt. I'm also suspicious of Jabberwock.

Hey dudes, I'm chill. Let's relax and let them take over. (For those of you who don't know how I play Mafia, I ALWAYS root for Mafia, wether of not I'm mafia. Developing habits in this game can help people to lunch me as quick as possible :p)

Also @rainyman123 there is to be no editing of posts within the game.

You've now posted during the Night and edited posts. I understand you're new to the game and I've taken that into consideration but the next time you break a rule you'll be out of the game.

More pressure can never hurt. How people react under pressure is incredibly important to reads.

I have reverted the post below:

Back to the original, under host request:

As already pointed out, editing posts is NOT allowed in mafia games.

Blakers has interesting opinions but it's odd that he only says them after being asked. Anyways, @Blakers , keep your reads from other ongoing games out of this game. It verges on the "no outside communication" rule. =P

Why? I don't see the harm. In fact, I can only see the benefit.

I play offsite games and multiple games are going at a time. It's really no different than using past games to establish a player's scum meta, only a lot easier to find.

I'm just erring on the side of caution, because we have a number of players in DH who aren't playing here. I wouldn't want Blakers' read on lord o to be posted here but not in DH in the same way, as not all the DH players see it. Keep in mind that I hadn't read DH when I posted above.

This is a pretty OMGUS.

##UNVOTE: scattered mind
##VOTE: Jabberwock
That was pretty RVS imo. :p

Also I've read over the rules and not sure still Howe many votes we get. I tend to skip parts so I probably skipped it. Can somebody tell me?
You get 1 vote.

Did you see the below?
Na im done with rooting for mafia. It didn't go really well :p

This makes sense, though that's hopefully common sense. As long as people don't post "hey do you think X is scum in DH?" in this thread, I don't think there will be any problems.

I think this is a unique position people are in, as we haven't had two games going at the same time in years.

Anyways, FOS on simsands right now for that vote on Jabber when it was pretty clear that Jabber's vote was RVS. Additionally, I don't like simsands' post about not discussing scummy plays in the past, because the meta card gets thrown around a lot and I don't know what reason we'd have to ignore it.

Also FOS on ninjapenguin for attempting to circumvent RVS, as we've used it enough as a community now where we realize how useful it can be.

...I remember years ago when we didn't play with RVS and we just waited for people to "mess up" day 1 and lynch them for it. Those were dark times.

In context to what simsands is responding, I agree that rainyman's DH meta doesn't really need to be looked into unless he does the same thing again. However, apparently he learnt from his mistake, so basing votes on his past attitude is poor scumhunting imo. However, out of context, I agree with both PP and Jabber that simsand's generalised comment is very odd.

Would also like to hear from @Blakers. I'm sus of rainyman123, supporting Scum as a Townie is never good.

FOS here on SF because of his post here, which really doesn't make any contribution aside from letting Blaker know that the thread is talking about him. His next post was contributing a bit, but it was still focusing on rainyman. Those are both scummy.
