Major Rules Update

The worst cursing is in 6-8th grade honestly... And you aren't allowed to even say stuff.
There's no rule against language in college and yet there's still much less of it.

You wouldn't believe the conversations I have had and heard 3 years ago.

There may be the odd troll who abuses this but, then again, what's new? I think we can trust people here with light cursing. It's not like we're giving people guns and painting targets on people.

I agree with this. A lot.

The ironic thing about the rule is I still probably won't curse at all on Pokebeach anyway, just because of how used to I am of not swearing on here.

chat and IRL are different stories

Ahh, just when Obama wins we already see the effects. These damn awesome policies are wonderful examples of the merits of a more liberal society; not to say I'm advocating a political philosophy or anything. Although buying apples sounds fun, fricking is much more fun as many of you know... however I do appreciate the censors on extreme cursing and highly offensive terms. Hopefully the effects of this rule will pattern those of similar rules; that is, people will no longer feel the need to utilize profanity when it's no longer a greatly frowned upon act. In other words, I highly support this rule change. #LegalizingInMotion

Verbal Warning: Edited for word. Don't spell hateful words differently, that doesn't make them any less harsh. - SR

I'm in eighth grade. You're totally right.
I only mind cursing when it's really overused. Other than that, I don't really care.
I support the rule change.

Yes it's definitely overused. There was one guy in my grade (7th at that point, i'm in 8th now) who got a discipline referral for what can best be described as an inability to stop cursing at anything and everything.
Anyway i do support the change but it makes no difference for me because i only feel comfortable cursing with friends and feel somewhat bad about myself while doing so.

Well, some people do have Tourette's Syndrome, in which they have tiks they can't control (the most infamous being the inability to stop swearing at random times), but I doubt that's what you mean. In any case, I usually won't cuss unless I'm really mad or in closed company.

There is a kid here with Tourette's but he is not in my grade.
