Master Quest

Well, Bulbasaur got some help from Pidgey...

Here's the second part of Battle with Brock! Get the First Badge!

Chapter 6: Battle with Brock! Get the First Badge! (Part 2)

"Go Caterpie!" Said Blue. Her new Bug Pokémon came out of her Pokéball.

"Go Geodude!" Said Brock, who had just finished healing his Pokémon.

"Hey Green," Red whispered to Green while they were watching.

"What is it?" Asked Green.

"Is there any way a Charmander can beat an Onix?"

"Well, Charmander can learn Metal Claw later on, and that would be super effective..."

"Thanks! I gotta go now!" Interrupted Red as he started to run towards the exit.

"Hey, where are you going?" Asked Green.

"Back to Viridian Forest to train!" Was the reply.

"Caterpie, String Shot!" Blue said. Caterpie shot out a thick, sticky string and it hit Geodude in the face. Geoudude was trying to pull of the string, as it blocked it's view.

"Geodude, never mind the string, use Mega Punch!" Geodude tried to sense where Caterpie was and threw it's fists at that, but Caterpie dodged.

"Caterpie, Tackle!" Caterpie lept toward Geodude.

"Geodude! Now's your chance! Tackle!" Geodude, knowing that Caterpie was coming right towards it, hurled itself forward and collided with Caterpie. Caterpie took full force of this and fainted.

"Ah! Caterpie, return. Go, Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur eagerly came out of it's Pokéball. "Bulbasaur use Razor Leaf!" Several leaves came out of Bulbasaur's bulbous, and fired at Geodude, leaving some big marks, but also cutting of the string shot that was on Geodude.

"Geodude, use another Mega Punch!" Geodude aimed it's fist at Bulbasaur.

"Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur released two vines and wrapped them around Geodude's hand, preventing Geodude from punching Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur then used it's Vines to throw Geodude into the wall, where it was knocked out.

"Geodude, return!" Said Brock, recalling Geodude back into it's Pokéball. "Onix, go!" Onix's giant figure again appeared on the arena.

"Bulbasaur, use Razor Leaf again!" Bulbasaur unleashed it's sharp leaves, and hit Onix, doing considerable damage.

"Onix, use Headbutt!" Onix charged it's giant head towards Bulbasaur.

"Dodge it, Bulbasaur!" Commanded Blue. Bulbasaur got out of the way as Onix slammed it's head down.

"Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur extended it's Vines out to try to lash Onix.

"Onix, dig!" Onix, who still had it's head buried in the ground, buried the rest of his body underground.

"Bulbasaur, try to sense where Onix is and get out of the way!" Bulbasaur closed it's eyes and tried to focus, but then Onix came up from beneath the ground and struck Bulbasaur, sending it flying, and it the hard ground.

"Bulbasaur, get up, use another Razor Leaf!" Bulbasaur slowly got up and shot some more leaves, hitting Onix, and caused Onix some major pain.

"Onix, try a Bite attack!" Onix, lunged forward, mouth open, ready to bite Bulbasaur.

"Bulbasaur, quick! Vine Whip!" Said Blue quickly. Bulbasaur instantly brought out its vines and wrapped them around Onix's mouth.

"Now finish it! Use Razor Leaf one more time!" Bulbasaur shot out more leaves, and this barrage caused Onix to faint.

"Well done," said Brock as he recalled his Pokémon. "You deserve this Boulder Badge." He handed her a Boulder Badge.

"Say, where's Red?" Asked Blue, who just realized he wasn't there.

"Oh, he went of to train his Charmander."

"Oh," Said Blue. "When do you suppose he'll be ba..."

Before she could finish, the door burst open. Red was standing there.

"Brock," He said. "I challenge you to a rematch!"

Here is the final installment for the pewter gym 3-part.

Chapter 7: Battle with Brock! Get the First Badge! (Part 3)

"So, I see you have come the challenge me again." Said Brock, rehealing his Pokémon.

"You bet I have!" Shouted Red.

"Well then, Go Geodude!" Said Brock as Geodude came out of it's Pokéball.

"Go, Pidgey!" Said Red as he sent out his Shining Pokémon.

"Geodude, Tackle attack!" Geodude flung itself at Pidgey.

"Pidgey, dodge it!" Commanded Red. Pidgey ducked out of the way, and it caused Geodude to hit a wall, hurting itself.

"Geodude, shake it off! Use Rock Throw!" Geodude picked up a nearby rock and flung it at Pidgey.

"Dodge, Pidgey!" Pidgey, masterfully avoided the rock. "Now try a whirlwind!" Pidgey flapped with all it's might, but Geodude wouldn't budge.

"Nice try, but Geodude's too heavy." Stated Brock. "Geodude, try to Tackle it again!" Geodude threw itself at Pidgey, going slightly faster this time.

"Pidgey, Sand Attack!" Pidgey flapped some dust that was on the Gym floor into Geodude's eyes, causing it to not be able to see Pidgey. It flew into a large rock with such a force that it knocked itself out.

"Geodude, return! Go, Onix!" Geodude returned to its Pokéball in a red light, in it's place was the rocky, snakelike Onix. "Onix, use slam!" Onix threw its tail at Pidgey, but Pidgey was able to dodge it.

"Alright, Pidgey, tackle that Onix as hard as you can!" Pidgey flew at top speed at Onix, but Onix barely felt the end result as .

"Onix, try Wrap!" Onix threw it's tail, which wrapped around Pidgey so it could not escape, then squeezed Pidgey. Pidgey gave a yelp in pain, which then Onix dropped it to the ground, knocking it out.

"Pidgey, return. Go Charmander!" Charmander burst out of it's Pokéball.

"Onix, dig!" Shouted Brock, and Onix began to tunnel it's way underground.

"Charmander, try to detect it!" Charmander listened, and then heard the Onix coming towards him and lept out of the way, as Onix shot up where the Charmander had previously stood.

"Alright Charmander, try Metal Claw!" Charmander lept towards Onix with it's hand raised in the air, and it's fingers began to glow a metallic color.

"Onix, slam!" Onix spun around and whacked Charmander, as it flew into a wall, hurting it badly.

"Keep trying, Charmander, use another Metal Claw!" Charmander ignored the tremendous pain it had, as it ran towards Onix with its claws glowing metallic again.

"Onix, slam again!" Onix slammed it's tail down at Charmander, but Charmander, just barely dodged it. Charmander the lept in the air and slashed Onix, leaving cutmarks that were made of metal. Onix screamed in pain.

"Now Charmander, use Ember!" Charmander threw a fireball at Onix's metal cutmarks, burning it.

"Onix, try Rock Tomb!" Onix slammed it's rocky tail down several times. Charmander was able to avoid most, but the last one hit Charmander. It was again really hurt by this, and it was taking all it's might just to stand.

"Charmander, try to use one more Metal Claw!" Then Charmander, with all it's might, ran towards Onix, and slashed it with it's metallic claws. Onix let out a scream before falling to the ground. It had fainted.

"Charmander, return." Said Red, as he recalled his incredibly weakened Charmander back into it's Pokéball.

"Onix, return." Said Brock as he walked towards Red. "I gotta hand it to you, that was one gutsy battle. You deserve this Boulder Badge." He said as he handed Red the Boulder Badge.

"Alright!" Exclaimed Red. "I got the Boulder Badge!" He exclaimed as he held up the Badge proudly.

"So Green, where's the next gym?" Asked Blue.

"The next one's in Cerulean City," Said Green. "But it will take awhile, Route 3 is filled with trainers, and then there's Mt. Moon..."

"Well then, we better get started then!" Said Blue.

"You said it!" Said Red, as he raced towards the exit, onto Route 3.

"There he goes again," Sighed Green, as he and Blue ran to try and catch up to him.

I'm gonna be kinda busy today, so that's why I'm posting this chapter pretty early.

Chapter 8: Bugcatcher enraged! Bulbasaur's tremendous effort!

As Red, Blue, and Green walked into Route 3, they could see the many trainers battling with each other. Green didn't lie when he said there was a ton of trainers on this route.

"You there!" A voice said. They looked towards the direction of the voice and saw a Girl who was about fourteen. She wore a White T-shirt with a Blue skirt and had long white socks. She also had long, brown hair. She was pointing at Green.

"I challenge you to a 1-on-1 battle!" She said.

"A battle? You're on!" Responded Green, taking out a Pokéball.

"Go Jigglypuff!" The small round pink Pokémon came out of her Pokéball. Green recorded it in his Pokédex. "Jigglypuff, the Baloon Pokémon. Jigglypuff's voice is so incredibly lulling that it can put anything to sleep."

"Go Squirtle!" Said Green. The blue turtle popped out of it's Pokéball.

"Jigglypuff, pound!" Jigglypuff ran towards Squirtle and pounded it in the face. Squirtle was knocked back a little, but it wasn't affected much.

"Now Squirtle, Water Gun!" Squirtle shot out water from it's mouth and it hit Jigglypuff head-on. Jigglypuff was hurled backwards by the water's power. "Now finish it with tackle!" Squirtle rammed into Jigglypuff with a force that was powerful enough to cause Jigglypuff to faint."

"Jigglypuff, return!" She said sadly as she recalled her Pokémon. "I'm Tiffany, by the way." She said, introducing herself.

"I'm Green, and these are my friends Blue and Red."

"Hi." She waved at them. Then they heard another voice nearby.

"Weedle, now use Tackle!" They turned around and saw a young boy who wore blue shorts with a white undershirt on, his hair concealed by a starw hat, with a butterfly net in one hand. He was battling another young boy, with a Yellow T-shirt, blue pants, and a backward baseball cap that had balck hair underneath it. He was battling with an Rattata.

"Rattata, shake it off! Use Bite!" Rattata began to leap towards the the horned, wormlike Pokémon.

"Now Weedle, here's your chance! Poison Sting!" A needle came out of Weedle's circular red mouth and hit Rattata square in the face, knocking it out.

"Oh no, Rattata!" Said the boy in the cap.

"Ha-ha! I beat you again, sucker!" Sneered the boy with the net , recalling his Weedle, as his opponent ran off crying.

"Who is that kid?" Asked Blue.

"His name is Andy. He trains bug Pokémon. He's probably the best trainer here, but he's also incredibly rude." Said Tiffany, sounding irritated. "If you ask me, I'd say if someone beat him he wouldn't act so disrespectfully."

"Oh." Said Blue. Then she shouted at him "He you!" He turned around and said, in an annoyed voice "What do you want?"

"I want to battle you, that's what!" Replied Blue.

"Well too bad, 'cuz I don't want to battle you!" He said, in a rude voice.

"Why not?" Asked Blue, who was started to get irritated by him.

He looked at her and said quietly "Because you're a girl."

"Now he's really in for it." Green whispered to Red. Red laughed under his breath.

Meanwhile Blue was boiling mad. "FINE!" She shrieked. "I didn't really want to battle against your filthy, ugly, stupid bugs anyway!"

Now Andy was also steaming. "What-did-you-just-say?"

"You know what I said!" Barked Blue.

"Well, you won't think they're stupid when they beat you!" Andy said. "Go Weedle!" He sent out his recently used Pokémon.

"Go Caterpie!" Said Blue, as her green wormlike Pokémon popped out.

"Weedle, Poison sting!" Weedle threw out a needle, directed at Caterpie.

"Dodge it Caterpie!" Commanded Blue. Caterpie jumped out of the way of the needle. "Now Tackle!" Caterpie launched itself at Weedle, who took considerable damage.

"Weedle, String Shot! Weedle shot out some gooey string that wrapped around Caterpie. "Now, Poison sting!" Weedle shot out another needle, and this time Caterpie could not dodge. It struggled to break free from the string, but the poison took out a lot of energy out of it as it soon fainted.

"Caterpie, return!" Said Blue. "Go Bulbasaur!" Blue's strongest Pokémon came out of it's Pokéball. "Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf!" Bulbasaur flung out it's knife-sharp leaves whcih hit Weedle, knocking it out.

"Grrr! I'm not done yet! Go Kakuna!" The yellow cacoon Pokémon came out of it's Pokéball. "Kakuna, tackle attack!" Kakuna threw itself towards Bulbasaur, and hit, causing some damage. "Bulbasaur, Vine whip!" Bulbasaur lashed out it's vines at Kakuna, and contricted it and then threw it towards a rock.

"Kakuna, Harden!" While flying, Kakuna immediatley started to stiffen, as it bounced of the rock and minimized the damge.

"Bulbasaur, use Tackle!" Bulbasaur hit the hardened Kakuna with great force, but in doing so Bulbasaur hurt itself a little. "Bulbasaur, finish it with Razor Leaf!" The damage from Bulbasaur's sharp leaves was lessened by harden, but it was enough to knock Kakuna out.

"Very good, very good," Said Andy with a crooked smile on his face. "But no one's ever, EVER beat my most strongest Pokémon. "Go Beedrill!" The giant bee Pokémon with Drills on it's fron legs emerged from Andy's Pokéball. "Beedrill, Twineedle!" Beedrile flew down on Bulbasaur with it's two drill-like hands. Bulbasaur was severely hurt by the attack. Bulbasaur could barely stand, but it was still not kncoked out.

"You gotta hang in their Bulbasaur!" Pleaded Blue. "This is his last Pokémon!"

"Oh please," Sniggered Andy. "Your puny Bulbasaur has no chance. It's seconds away from fainting and my Beedrill's completely healthy. You might as well just..."

Then Bulbasaur began to glow. The Glow got brighter and brighter, until no one could see anything except bright light. Then all the light instantly vanished, in where Bulbasaur was standing, an Ivysaur had taken it's place.

"Alright! My Bulbasaur evolved!" Blue exclaimed, referring to the new Pokémon which bore resemblance to it's lower form, except bigger and the bulbous was replaced with a closed flower. "Now, Ivysaur, Leech Seed!" Out of Ivysaur's flower came a small seed attached to a long vine, which planted itself into Beedrill's head, and starting to absorb energy from Beedrill into Ivysaur.

"I don't care what stage your Pokémon is! Beedrill, use Twineedle!" Beedrill again flew at Ivysaur, it's drills ready to strike.

"Ivysaur, Razor Leaf!" Ivysaur shot out even bigger, sharper looking leaves at Beedrill, which was flung backwards, as it continued to grow weaker as Ivysaur got stronger. "Now Ivysaur, finsih it with a Tackle Attack!" Ivysaur charged towards Beedrill, and hit it incredibly hard, kncoking out Beedrill.

"What? My Beedrill lost? NOOOO!" Said Andy in great sorrow, then feel on the ground, weeping.

"Well, waddya know?" Remarked Blue. "He's just a baby as the little kids that pick on him!"

"Thanks for you help." Said Tiffany, later that day. "I'm sure Andy here owes some kids an apology." She said, tugging at Andy's undershirt.

"Okay..." He mumbled in a disappointed tone. The loss really seemed to affect him.

"Glad we could help." Said Blue.

"Well, we should continue on to Mt. Moon." Said Red. "We still have some trainers to get through, not to mention get through Mt. Moon itself."

"Agreed." Said Green, as He, Red, and Blue continued along Route 3.

I may put up another chapter today, as a I have loads of free time today and barely any tommorow or the next day.

Chapter 9: Jealousy Strikes! The Quest For Evolution!

"Now Ivysaur, finish it with Vine Whip!"

Blue's Ivysaur lashed out it's vines, whipping them at her opponent's Pokémon, which was a Geodude. After the attack, Geodude fell on the ground, knocked out.

"Geodude, return!" Said the trainer Blue was battling. He had frizzled black hair, with blue overalls and a red T-shirt. "Your Ivysaur looks really strong. You must have raised it a lot."

"Thanks!" Said Blue, in a gloating type voice. Meanwhile, Red and Green where looking on.

"Ya know, My Charmander could probably beat Blue's Ivysaur any day." Said Red.

"But it's not evolved." Added Green.

"So what's your point?"

"My point is, Blue is getting more attention since she as and evolved Pokémon and we don't." Replied Green. "Doesn't that make feel a little envious?"

"Yes, a little." Said Red, although he felt extremely jealous. "So what do we do?"

"Well, we are almost at Mt. Moon, so we could battle the remaining trainers." Suggested Green.

"I've got a better idea." Said Red, with a smirk on his face.

"What's that?"

"Why don't we battle each other?" Said Red. "1-on-1, Charmander vs. Squirtle. But the rules are different. Whoever's Pokémon evolves first wins."

"You're on!" Said Green. "Go Squirtle!"

"Go Charmander!"

Red and Green's starting Pokémon came out of their Pokéballs, eager to fight.

"Squirtle, Water Gun!" Squirtle shot out a blast of water at Charmander, but Charmander, quickly got out of the way.

"Charmander, Metal Claw!" Charmander dashed towards Squirtle, it's claws glowing, becoming more metallic.

"Dodge, Squirtle!" Squirtle lept in the air to avoid the attack. "Now use Tackle!" Squirtle dove at Charmander, making contact and doing some damage.

"Charmander, use Metal Claw again!" Charmander slashed at Squirtle again, and Squirtle was so close to Charmander it could not avoid the attack.

"Squirtle, Bubble!" Squirtle shot out some big bubbles at Charmander again.

"Charmander, Ember!" Charmander shot out balls of fire, which collided with the bubbles, causing both attacks to stop.

"Squirtle, Water Gun!" Squirtle shot out some Water at Charmander, hurting it a lot. The flame on Charmander's tail was now low.

"Charmander, Metal Claw again!" Charmander slashed Squirtle, which caused some big cutmarks on it's face and some critical damage as well.

Squirtle, Water Gun!" Squirtle fired out some water at Charmander again, but Charmander managed to narrowly escape it.

"Charmander, Ember!" Commanded Red. Charmander fired a burst of Fire, and though it wasn't very effective, Squirtle winced in pain a little.

"Charmander-"

"Squritle-"

"Hang in there!" Red and Green yelled at the same time. No sooner had they said that when both of their Pokémon began to glow. They where evolving. By the time the glow had ceased, Charmander had become a Charmeleon, which was bigger, redder, and more meaner than ever. Squirtle had transformed into a Wartortle, which looked like Squirtle, but it's blue skin had darkened and it had two elf-like ears with a tail shaped like a wave. Under Red's circumstances, this would have been a draw. But they were both so caught up battling each other that they had completely forgotten the differentials of the battle.

"Charmeleon, use Flamethrower!" Charmeleon instantly shot a giant jet of flame, at Wartortle, which hurt it a lot more.

"Wartortle, use Bite!" Wartortle opened it's mouth and jumped at Charmeleon.

"Charmeleon, use Flamethrower!" Charmeleon. Charmeleon shot another flame at Wartortle, going inside its mouth. Wartortle was flung back, landing on the ground, very weak.

"Now finish it with Metal Claw!" Commanded Red. Charmeleon slashed at Wartortle, hard enough to knock it out.

"ARGH!" Yelled Green. "Mark my words, I will defeat you someday!"

"Well, that day isn't today." Boasted Red.

"Hey you guys!" Blue ran over to them "I see your Pokémon have evolved like mine. That's great!"

"Uhh..yeah, it is." Said Red, remembering the circumstances of the battle which they ignored.

"So Green, how far is Mt. Moon?" Asked Blue.

"Not too far." Answered Green.

"Well then, let's go to Mt. Moon!" Said Red.

Well, here we are, Double Digit Chapters. This is another 3-part series where the gang tries to get through Mt. Moon, and at the same time deal with team rocket.

Chapter 10: Journey through Mt. Moon! Introduction of Team Rocket! (Part 1)

Red, Green, and Blue where approaching Mt. Moon. It looked like a big hill, but there was an entrance to it. Next to the entrance was a Pokémon Center. They decided they should heal up before making the long journey into Mt. Moon. In the Pokémon Center, Red noticed a man with a lot of Pokéballs with him. He was a skinny man with a small mustache, who wore a white shirt

"Hey you." He said to Red.

"Me?" Asked Red.

"Yeah, you. Would you like to buy a Pokémon?"

"A Pokémon?" Red was intriuged.

"Yes a very powerful Pokémon. It's very rare. I've been breeding them for buisness. You don't know how lucky you are to get your hands on one of these."

"I'll take one!" Said Red happily.

"You WHAT?" Said Green, as Red told him of his purchase. They were outside the Pokémon Center and about to go into Mt. Moon. "Red, that money is for Pokéballs, healing items, and food ONLY."

"Relax. I just got a really powerful Pokémon!" The tossed the Pokéball, only to have the small red fish Pokémon, Magikarp, come out of it.

"Well, well. It looks like SOMEBODY's been gypped!" Said Blue, snickering at Red.

"WHAT? A MAGIKARP?" Said Red in a rage. He burst in the Pokémon Center, only to find that the man who had sold him the Magikarp had bolted. "Oh man, If I ever see him again...Oh well. I guess I'm stuck with you, Magikarp." He said, holding the ball in which Magikarp was in."

"C'mon Red, let's just go in to Mt. Moon." Said Blue, angered by Red's gulliblity.

Mt. Moon was a really big cave, with several floors, which could be reached with ladders that led to the next floors, and dropped to lower floors. As usual, they looked around for Pokémon.

"Look there!" Said Blue, she had spotted a Zubat, the small, blue, eyeless bat. "Go Caterpie!" She sent out her small catterpillar Pokémon. "Caterpie, use tackle!" Caterpie tackled the Zubat, and it was almost instantly knocked out.

"I guess it wasn't very strong." Sighed Blue. Then Caterpie began to glow. When the glow stopped, it was the green pod Pokémon, Metapod.

"Alright! My Caterpie evolved into Metapod!" Said Blue. She recorded it in her Pokédex. "Metapod, the Cocoon Pokémon. Metapod is the stepping stone that turns Caterpie into Butterfree. It is able to harden itself to make it hard as steel.

Then suddenly another Pokémon appeared. It was the small, bright pink pudgy fairy Pokémon, Clefairy. Blue also recorded it in her Pokédex. "Clefairy, the Fairy Pokémon. Clefairy are rumored to have come from the moon. The rumor is intensified by the fact that they only live in caves that are full with Moon Stones are suspectible, Mt. Moon in Kanto, and Mt. Coronet in Sinnoh."

"They must be pretty rare." Said Blue. "Alright Clefairy, you're mine. Metapod, use Tackle attack!" Metapod threw itself at Clefairy, hurting it. The Clefairy countered with a Pound attack, slapping Metapod across it's body.

"Metapod, try another tackle!" Metapod shook of the pain and tackled Clefairy again, hurting it even more, but not knocking it out.

"Alright, let's see how this goes." Said Blue, taking out a Pokéball. "Pokéball, go!" The Red and White ball opened, and sucked Clefairy in. There were a few wiggles, but the Pokéball stopped and made a clicking noise. Clefairy was hers.

"Yes!" Said Blue, pumping her fist.

"Well, I suggest we find our way out of this cave if we want to get to Cerulean City." Said Green.

They walked onward to a spot where they found a hole in the ground, big enough for them to fit through, and there was a ladder to climb down.

"Uh, Green? Do you know if we have to climb up or climb down to get out of this cave?" Asked Red, worried about how long this journey through climbing ladders was going to take.

"I...don't...know." Said Green. His grandfather never told him how to get out of Mt. Moon.

"Well, we better start here." Groand Red as they climbed down the cave.

The part of Mt. Moon they were in now didn't seem to have an exit. They searched for one anyway, but no luck. They headed back to a latter, when they saw another trainer coming. He was a mysterious looking figure, wore a black cap that shaded his face, with a black shirt tucked in with some black pants, with grey boots and gloves. His shirt had a big, red, uppercase "R" on it.

"Man, this job is so boring." He was mumbling. He then spotted Red. "Hey you, in the Red cap, do you want to battle?"

"Sure!" Said Red.

"Go Sandshrew!" Said the man, as from his Pokéball emerged the small shrew with a brick-like surface on it's back.

"Go Charmeleon!" Red's newly evolved Pokémon emerged from it's Pokéball.

"Sandshrew, Rapid Spin!" Sandshrew curled around into a ball, and spun towards Charmeleon.

"Charmeleon, Flamethrower!" Charmeleon shot out a stream of flame at the spinning Sandshrew, causing it to unroll and law sprawled on the ground, burned and severley hurt. "Now finish it with Metal Claw!" Charmeleon slashed at the Sandshrew, causing it to be knocked out.

"Argh, Sandshrew return!" He said, angry over his defeat. "That's one tough Charmeleon."

"Thanks." Said Red.

"Now can we get out of this cave area?" Said Blue. "I want to test out my new Clefairy against some other trainers."

Suddenly the man was intrigued. "You have a Clefairy?"

"Yep. I know, they're pretty rare. Lucky I caught one, huh?" Said Blue as she began to climb the ladder back up to the main floor. Red and Green soon followed. Once they all left, the man took out a walkie-talkie.

"I've found someone with what we've been looking for." He said into it. "She's traveling with two boys. You can't miss them." He then added. "Also, the boy in the Red has a pretty good Charmeleon. It would be of some good use to us."

I would also request some more reveiws on this, if you please.

Okay, I'm even buisier today then I thought I was gonna be, so this may be all for today.

Chapter 11: Journey through Mt. Moon! Introduction of Team Rocket! (Part 2)

"ARGH!" Said Red, as they had climbed up another ladder, only to find that this area also did not have the exit that led to Cerulean City. "WHERE IS THAT EXIT?!"

"Calm down." Said Green. "Hey look!" He said. He was pointing to a Geodude. "I think I'm gonna catch it." Green decided. "Go Nidoran!" His spiny pink Pokémon emerged from it's Pokéball.

"Nidoran, Horn attack!" Nidoran's horn began to glow. as it ran towards the Geodude. Geodude took full force, but the fact that it was a Normal attack and it was a Rock type meant it didn't take much damage. It responded the attack by hurling a rock at Nidoran, causing some minor damage as well. "Nidoran, try Poisin Sting" Nidoran spat out a needle which hit Geodude, hurting it some more. It also started to wince from the poison.

"Alright, Pokéball, Go!" The Pokéball sealed the Geodude in tight, wiggled for a few moments, then made the familiar clicking sound.

"Looks like I've got a new Pokémon!" Said Green, holding up the Pokéball.

"Alright let's get outta this area said Red. "The exit's not here."

They had climbed down the ladder when two men burst from the scene. They were just like the man they had seen in a lower floor earlier.

"I challenge you," He said, pointing at Blue. "And your Friend in the Red there to a 2 against 2 battle!"

"A what?" Said Blue, who along with Red was confused.

"It's when 2 trainers fight against 2 other trainers." The other man explained.

"Okay then, Go Clefairy!" Said Blue, eager to try out her new Pokémon.

"Go Charmeleon!" Said Red.

"Go Koffing!" Said both men at the same time. The spherical purple Pokémon with holes all around it's body with marks that looked like a skull with and X underneath it popped out from both of their Pokéballs in a burst of white light. "Koffing, use smog!" They both said at the same time. The holes on the two Koffings emitted a purple clouds that not only surrounded Red and Blue's two Pokémon, they surrounded Red, Green, and Blue themselves.

"Hey what's going on?" Asked Red. Then he started to feel drowsy. Before he knew it everything went black.

Red awoke to find himself, Blue, and Green lying on the floor of the cave. They were in the same place that they were before being knocked out.

"Hey, where did those guys go?" Said Red. "I'll just use Pidgey to track them..." He reached for his Pidgey's Pokéball, but then noticed something. His Charmeleon's Pokéball was gone.

"AAHH! Where's my Clefairy?" Said Blue, who was also apparently missing Pokémon. Then it hit them. The "R" that was on those men's shirts stood for Rocket, as in Team Rocket. What had the man in Viridian City said? They're a group of criminals who abuse Pokémon to steal money, Pokémon, and other valuable items from people...

"Team Rocket stole our Pokémon." Said Red. "Pidgey, go!" His Shining Pokémon came out of his pokéball. "Pidgey, I need you to find..."

"Hold on." Said Green. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why not?" Intrigued Red.

"Well, suppose Pidgey does find those Rocket Members." Said Green. "Wouldn't they want to steal a Pokémon as rare as a Shining Pokémon?"

"I guess you're right." Said Red unhappily as he recalled his Pokémon. "So what do we suppose we do?"

"I dunno." Said Green. "I guess we just have to look for them on foot."

"Great." Said Red. "Just Great. As if this exploring through this cave for the exit wasn't gonna take long enough..."

So they wandered around the cave, searching down every ladder they could find, but they were always coming up short. They were also getting very tired. Then a Zubat came flying by.

"Hey, why doesn't one of us try to catch that Zubat and see if it can use it's sonar to find our Pokémon." Suggested Red.

"Good luck trying to catch one." Said Blue. "Those things are really weak. After all, my Caterpie took it out in one hit, then evolved into Metapod."

"Wait." Said Green. "I've got an even better idea then to catch one of those Zubats."

I'm actually going to have a lot more free time today then I thought, so 2 updates today seems likely.

Journey through Mt. Moon! Introduction of Team Rocket! (Part 3)

"Well, did you get my Clefairy?"

A voice was coming out of another walkie-talkie that the two Rockets had.

"Yes boss." Said one of the Rockets into the walkie-talkie. "We stole it from a trainer. And as an added bonus, we even bagged a Charmeleon."

"Excellent, excellent." The voice said again. "Both will make fine additions to my collection."

Meanwhile, Green had figured out a plan that could track down Team Rocket.

"Blue," He said. "We need to evolve Metapod into Butterfree. It can track down Charmeleon and Clefairy, and can fend for it's own if it runs into any trouble. It should evolve soon."

"Okay." Said Blue. "I need to find a Pokémon to battle...hey, look there!" She saw a Paras, the small red insect Pokémon with two mushrooms planted on it's back.

"Alright, go Metapod!" Metpod burst out of it's Pokéball. "Metapod, Tackle!" Metapod rammed into the Paras, doing significant damage. The Paras jumped at Metapod, with it's pincers prepared for a scratch attack. "Metapod, Harden!" Metpod hardened itself, and when Paras' claw hit Metapod, it was like hitting a rock. "Now Metapod, finish it with another Tackle!" Metapod hit Paras again, and Paras fell to the ground, knocked out.

"Alright, so how many more battles to go?" Wondered Red aloud, worried about his Charmeleon. No sooner had he spoke those words when Metapod began to glow. The glow got brighter and brighter, then stopped completely. Metapod had evolved into Butterfree, the purple butterfly Pokémon.

"Okay Butterfree," Said Blue. "We need you to find 2 men all dressed in black with R's on their shirts. Got it?"

"Free!" It said in agreement, then flew off.

Meanwhile, the 2 Rockets where putting Charmeleon and Clefairy's Pokéballs into a small bag.

"The exit's right over there." Said a Rocket, moving his head towards a ledge that had bright sunlight emitting from it. "We have to climb those steps to get onto the path to take us there." He pointed to a set of stairs, which one could see, led to the path the led up to the ledge. They were heading towards the exit, when they heard a flapping sound from behind them and turned around. There was a Butterfree, staring right at them.

"Look, a Butterfree. What should we do with it?" Inquired one Rocket.

"I say we defeat it" Said the other. "Butterfree don't live in Mt. Moon. It's a trainers. No one must know what we're up to. Go Koffing!" Koffing emerged from its Pokéball.

"Agreed." Said the other Rocket, releasing his own Koffing.

"Koffing, Smog!" They both said at the same time. Both Koffings began emitting a purple haze towards Butterfree, but Butterfree, blew them away with gust. It then started showering the 2 Koffings and the 2 Rockets. The Koffings dropped to the ground, paralyzed.

"C'mon, let's just go before anyone sees us." Said one Rocket. But then they realized that they too could not move.

"Oh no." Said the other Rocket member as Butterfree flew off to find Red, Blue, and Green again.

"Well Butterfree, did you find anything?" Asked Blue.

"Free, Butterfree!" It said in excitement, than flew off, with Red, Green, and Blue behind it.

"So, here you creeps are!" Shouted Red angrily. They had arrived to where the Rockets where. "Give us back our Pokémon!"

"Never." Said one of the Rockets, the paralysis effects beginning to wear off.

"We'll battle you for them!" Demanded Blue.

"Hmph. Okay, but if we win, we get all the rest of your Pokémon." Said the 2 Rockets. Before Red and Blue could even consider, they had yelled "Go Koffing!" The Koffings, now fully cured of paralysis, hopped up.

"Go Butterfree!" Said Blue. Butterfree, already out of it's Pokéball, flew into the battle.

"Go Magikarp!" Said Red. He did still not want the Rockets know about his shining Pidgey, or else they would do what they did last time and take their Pokémon.

"Butterfree, Confusion!" Said Blue. Out of Butterfree's antenna, a small multicolored beam came out of it and was aimed towards a Koffing. But the Koffing dodged.

"Magikarp! Er-could you do a tackle attack?" Said Red. But the Magikarp just flopped there, almost having no awareness that it was in a battle.

"You foolish boy. Magikarp are wastes of space on any team. Koffing, tackle Butterfree!" One of the Koffings flew towards Butterfree, causing some damage.

"You too, Koffing!" Said the other Rocket. This Koffing also flew towards Butterfree hurting it more.

"Red!" Said Blue. "You have to use Pidgey! Otherwise they'll just focus all their attacks on me!"

"But I don't want them to do what they did last time!" Said Red.

"Are you forgetting that our Pokémon are already on the line?"

"Fine." Said Red. "Magikarp, return! Go Pidgey!" Magikarp disappeared in a flash of red light, and in it's place, the Golden Pidgey emerged from it's Pokéball. "Pidgey, tackle attack!" Pidgey flew at Koffing, knocking it into a wall, and knocking it out.

"Good. Now it's two against one." Said Blue confidently. "Now Butterfree, use Confusion again!" Butterfree, shot the Multicolored beam again, and it hit Koffing, putting it on the verge of being knocked out.

"Pidgey, finsih it with Tackle again!" Pidgey flew at this Koffing, sending it flying into the same spot the other Koffing ws, knocking it out as well.

"WHAT?" Said Both Rockets, in a complete rage. "How could we lose to snot-nosed kids like you?" Said the other, throwing the bag that contained their Pokéballs at them. "The Boss isn't going to like this..." Then he took out a smokeball, threw it down, and by the smoke had cleared, they were gone.

"Hey, the exit!" Said Red, as he and Blue put their Pokéballs away. "We're out of the cave! Ceurlean City, here we come!"

"Wait, look!" Said Green. Where the 2 Koffing just where, the wall had collapsed due to the impact by the Koffing. There were two sandy stones on the ground, and each had bones inside it.

"Fossils!" Said Green, picking up one. "I hear there's a machine in the works that can revive these Pokémon." He put the fossil in his backpack.

"I call the other one!" Said Red, as he put the other one in his bag, and then began towards Cerulean City.

Yes I can. And here it is!

Chapter 13: Nugget Bridge! Beat the Mysterious Man!

As Red, Blue, and Green entered Cerulean City, they awed at it's many wonders. There was a bike shop, but the bikes looked way too expensive. Of course, leading it all, there was the Cerulean Gym.

"C'mon, let's go to the gym! We need that second badge!" Said Red.

"I've always wanted to meet Misty." Said Blue, referring to the Gym Leader. "She made me want to become a trainer."

"Well, we're gonna have to wait. I want to see Bill." Said Green.

"And why should we see him?" Asked Blue.

"Because, he knows all there is to know about Pokémon." Explained Green. "I bet we could learn a lot from him."

"I already know a lot of things." Said Blue, who would much rather go to the gym instead.

"Look, do you want to battle for this?"

"Sure! Winner decides where to go!" Said Blue. "Go Clefairy!" Her fairy Pokémon came out of it's Pokéball.

"Go Geodude!" Said Green. His newest addition popped out of it's Pokéball.

"Clefairy, use Metronome!" Shouted Blue. Clefairy waved it's fingers, and then shot out a bolt of lightning from each finger. Metrnome had copied Thunderhsock. But when it hit Geodude, Geodude didn't even react to it.

"Unfortunatly for you, Geodude isn't affected by Electric Attacks! Now Geoude, use Mega Punch!" Geodude threw it's fist at Clefairy, hurting it a lot. "Now finish it with tackle!" Geodude tackled Clefairy, knocking it out.

"Clefairy, return! Go Butterfree!" Butterfree flew out of it's Pokéball. "Butterfree, Confusion!" Butterfree shot out a multicolored beam at Geodude, hurting it.

"Geodude, Rock Throw!" Geodude picked up a nearby rock and flung it at Butterfree, but Butterfree dodged.

"Butterfree, use Poisonpowder!" Small purple spores emitted from Butterfree's wings as Geodude started wincing in pain. "Now, tackle attack!" Butterfree tackled Geodude, and in it's Poisoned state, a lot more damage was taken. Geodude soon fainted.

"Geodude, return!" Go Wartortle!" Skipping past Nidoran for Wartortle, the big blue turtle came out of Green's Pokéball. "Wartortle, use Bubblebeam!" Wartortle shot out a giant beam made entirely out of Bubbles. It Butterfree, causing it to fall on the ground. "Now use Rapid Spin!" Wartortle go into it's shell and spun at Butterfree, and the contact was enough to knock Butterfree out.

"Butterfree, return! Go Ivysaur!" Said Blue as her evolved Grass starter came out of her Pokéball. "Ivysaur, use Razor Leaf!" From Ivysaur's flower came out razor sharp leaves, directed at Wartortle.

"Wartortle, dodge it!" Wartortle lept in the air and dodged all the leaves. "Now Bite!" Wartortle jumped down at Ivysaur and bit the top of it's head. Ivysaur squealed in pain

"Ivysaur, Vine Whip!" Ivysaur shot two giant whips at Wartortle, but Wartortle grabbed both vines. It then threw Ivysaur to the ground, knocking it out.

"Hah! I win! Looks like we're gonna see Bill!" Gloated Green.

After healing up their Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, They approached a bridge that had a lot of trainers on it. Red walked on the bridge, and instantly a trainer spotted him.

"Hey you!" Said a trainer. He had blue shorts on, a gray T-shirt with short black hair. "This is Nugget Bridge! Beat all the trainers on this bridge, and you win a prize!"

"Alright," Said Red. "Bring it on!"

"Go Pidgey!" Said the Trainer. A normal, brown Pidgey came out of his Pokéball.

"Pfft. That's all? Go Pidgey!" Said Red. His Shining, Golden Pidgey came out of it's Pokéball. "Pidgey, use tackle!" Red's Pidgey smashed into it's opponent's Pidgey, knocking it out.

"Alright!" Said Red as he pumped is fist. "That's one down!" Then his Pidgey started to glow. When it stopped it was a Pidgeotto, but like the Pidgey before it, it was a goldish color.

"Well, I suppose I want that prize too." Said Green, walking on the bridge.

"Me too." Added Blue, as she walked on the bridge.

Most of the trainers, like the trainer Red battled were all pretty easy, and it was merely a race to see who could get to the prize first. Well, Green reached the end of the bridge first and was greeted by a man wearing a full-body trench coat and a brown wool cap.

"Congratulations." Said the man, handing Green a gold nugget, which looked like a big golden potato. "You've beaten Nugget Bridge. You deserve this."

"Thank you." Gloated Green, as Red and Blue, who had just arrived, eyed him with jealousy.

"Also, I see you have some powerful Pokémon. Would you like to join my group?"

"What group?" Asked Green, curious.

"I'm surprised you don't know. We're worldwide famous. We only recruit the best trainers for our battling, training..." He then muttered under his breath something he didn't want Green to hear, but he heard it anyway. "stealing..."

"Wait a minute! You're a member of Team Rocket! There's no way I'd join you goons."

"Hmph, I see I wasn't able to bribe you with my Nugget." Said the man, as a took of his trench coat and hat, revealing a Rocket uniform. "Then I'll just take you by battling. Go Zubat!" His Zubat popped out of his Pokéball.

"Go Geodude!" Said Green. Geodude came out of it's Pokéball.

"Zubat, leech life!" Zubat bit Geodude, and small balls of energy came out of Geodude and into Zubat.

"Geodude, Mega Punch!" Geodude fired a punch at the Zubat, knocking it away. "Now try a rock throw!" Geodude picked up some stones and threw them at Zubat, hurting it more.

"Zubat, use Supersonic!" Zubat fired some what looked like sonic waves at Geodude, making confused.

"Geodude, try Mega Punch again!" Geodude aimed it's fist, but in it's confusion, it punched itself instead.

"Zubat, bite!" Zubat aimed it's sharp teeth at Geodude.

"Geodude, shake it off! Try rock throw!" Geodude then snapped out of it's confusion and threw a nearby rock at Zubat, hitting it and kncoking it out.

"Zubat, return!" Said the Rocket. "Go Ekans!" The Purple rattlesnake like Pokémon came out of his Pokéball. "Ekans, use Acid!" A bright purple liquid oozed out of Ekans mouth, as it spat out the acid at Geodude, kncoking it out.

"Geodude, return! Go Nidoran!" Nidoran popped out of it's Pokéball. "Nidoran, use Double Kick!" Nidoran hit Ekans with one of it's legs, than hit it again with the other.

"Ekans, bite!" Ekans bit Nidoran, and Nidoran began squirming in pain. But then Ekans dropped Nidoran from it's mouth, and began to flinch every other second.

"Hah! Nidoran's Poison point ability activated!" Said Green. "Now Nidoran, use Horn attack!" Nidoran fired a horn at Ekans.

"Ekans, try Acid again!" Ekans prepared for another acid by opening it's mouth, bu then collapsed on the ground, fainted. The poison had done enough for the finishing blow.

"Grrr..." Said the grunt, as he ran away before anyone could catch him. Then Nidoran began to glow a familiar glow, by the time the glow had ended, it was a Nidorino, a larger, spikier Nidoran male.

"Yes! I have a Nidorino now!" Said Green. "Now, let's continue to Bill's house!" He said as he, Red, and Blue walked towards route 25, where Bill lived...

Forecast senses 2 chapters today, but it could be wrong.

Chapter 14: Meet Bill! Free him of his Pokémon form!

As Red, Green, and Blue, approached Bill's house, they were also coming across tall grass in which Pokémon lurked. Blue was able to spot a Pokémon. She checked it out in her Pokédex.

"Oddish, the Weed Pokémon." Beeped the Pokédex, as it recited information about the small, armless blue Pokémon with weeds growing out of it's head. "Oddish wander about day and night, looking for places to plant weeds in the ground. They benefit from moonlight just as well as sunlight."

"Alright Oddish, you're mine!" Said Blue. "Go Ivysaur!" Her plant Pokémon emerged from it's Pokéball. "Ivysaur, Vine whip!" The two dark vines came out of Ivysaur's flower and constriced them around Oddish, but the Oddish spat acid on them, causing them to slightly shrivel for a moment as they released Oddish. "Alright Ivysaur, try Take Down!" Ivysaur ran at Oddish extremely fast, and hit it extremely hard, but hurt itself a little in the process. But not as hurt as Oddish, which couldn't even stand it was so weak. "Okay, Pokéball, go!" The Pokéball surrounded Oddish with bright light, did the usual wiggle, then the usual clicking noise was heard.

"Yes, Oddish is mine!" She said triumphently, holding up the ball.

"I can see why someone like Bill would live here." Said Red. "This place is crawling with Pokémon. Look, there's one over there!" He was pointing to Abra, the yellow-brown humanlike that was sleeping. He recorded it in it's Pokédex.

"Abra, the Psi Pokémon. Abra are very timid, and use a telepathic radar to sense danger. Detecting the slightest sense of danger will cause it to teleport from battle instantly."

"Better be strategic about this." Said Red. "Go Charmeleon!" His Red Lizard hopped out of its Pokéball. "Charmeleon, use smokescreen!" Charmeleon shot out a giant cloud of thick, black smoke which surrounded Abra. "Can't detect danger if you can't see it." Red explained to no one in particular. "Now Charmeleon, use Slash!" Charmeleon slashed Abra, hurting it quite a bit. "Now Pokéball, go!" Red's Pokéball sucked in Abra, wriggled a little, then the clicking noise confirmed Abra was his.

"Abra, you're mine!" Said Red, picking up the Pokéball.

"Hey guys, I can see Bill's house!" Said Green, directing their attention to a small silhouette of a house. "Let's go!" He said, heading towards Bill's house.

"So, what is it Bill does, anyway?" Asked Red.

"He collects Pokémon. But he's got a giant collection. His collection got so big it led to the invention of the Storage System."

"What's that?" Inquired Blue.

"Well, you can only carry six Pokémon on your team, you see. And when you catch a 7th Pokémon and beyond, it'll go to the storage system. You can withdraw it from the storage system to use it if you send another Pokémon to the storage system in return."

"Oh." Said Red.

Bill's house was a pretty small place, looking ordinary from any other house. Green knocked on the door.

"Hello? Bill? Are you there?" Said Green. No answer.

"Do you think we should go in?" Asked Red.

"Yeah, he could be in trouble!" Said Blue, as they burst the door open. It indeed was a small place, with only one floor. There was a desk, with a computer and books where stacked everywhere. There was a big machine in the back of the room, and it looked like two stalls to stand in connected together by a long pipe. There was also a Jigglypuff sitting on the desk. It jumped in hesitation when Red, Green, and Blue opened the door.

"Where's Bill?" Wondered Green nervously.

"This has to be the work of Team Rocket." Said Red, wanting to get those Rocket Goons.

"No it's not." Said the Jigglypuff, in perfect English. The other jumped at it's ability to speak.

"A talking Jigglypuff! Don't suppose Bill trained it to do that." Said Green.

"No, you don't understand." Said the Jigglypuff. "I am Bill! I was conducting an experiment with that Machine over there when it turned me into this! These hands are so tiny I can't activate the machine with them and I've been stuck like this for days!"

"That's awful!" Said Blue.

"Yes, I suppose it is. But now that you kids are here, you can help me!" He said enthusiastically. "I wrote down the instructions before I tested it to make sure I wouldn't forget. It's on the desk."

They rushed over to the desk, and found a piece of paper with the instructions on it. They put the Jigglypuff-Bill in one of the stalls, and hit a few buttons. Jigglypuff-Bill disappeared in a burst of light from the stall. Then, another burst of light on the other stall, the real, human Bill stepped out. He had curly brown hair, an indigo polo shirt with white pants.

"Thanks." He said. "It feels good to be a human again. Here, take these as a token of my appreciation." He handed them three tickets.

"What are they?" Asked Green.

"They're tickets to the S.S. Anne. I'm not much of a person who likes to travel, so they are no use to me." Red, Green, and Blue didn't really want to get sidetracked and go on a cruise, but they excepted them anyway.

"So, have you trainers used my storage system yet?" Asked Bill.

"Oh yes," Green lied, wanting to impress him. "Tons of times."

"Hey!" Said Blue. "You even have the least out of all..." But then Green put a hand over her mouth.

"Well," Said Red. "Are we going to the Cerulean Gym?" He said anxiously.

"Yeah," Added Blue. "I wanna see Misty!"

"Okay, okay. Bye Bill!" Said Green.

"Bye!" Said Bill back. "I hope to see you again soon!"
