Yes, not to mention the attack is quite broken for a basic Pokémon.

cost two colorless sketch: choose one of your opponents pokemons attacks you can use that attack as your own this turn without paying the energies reqiured.
cost one colorless energy call for evolution: search your deck for a basic pokemon and if it evolves search for all of its other stages

To everyone that hates Staryu: I agree, but I was in a differnet mindset at the time I rated it. This round doesn't matter, anyway. If it did, I'd edit the score.

Flygon: I can tell you that Round 1 ends December 7th, or when all contestants have made their entries. You should have no problem with meeting this deadline.

The preliminaries are over - time for the first round! Task and restrictions are in the first post, along with rank. Congratulations, everyone, you're in first place with 0 points! :D

Important note: I've decided that Flourish is not a category anymore. Sometimes you don't need to fill up a card to do what it needs to do. Instead, I've allocated the 10 points from Flourish into the Body category, making it worth a total of 50 points. If I see any one-attack-and-that's-it losers, you'll get docked in this category. Don't like it? Drop out. Simple as that.

Speaking of dropping out, if at any time you decide you would like to quit, let me know through PM or this topic.

I'll be sending PMs on Monday to those who haven't entered a submission for Round 1.

This power can't be used if Quilava is affected by a Special Condition. (non-card note: The rule's relevant, because of Full Flame.)

Bah. I just lost everyone's scores. Lucky for me I had them in the first post to begin with. Sorry for the shorthand version, but here's a rough explanation why you all lost points (Check rank for point totals):

Flygon - Card's too weak. Wording/grammar errors.

Scipio - Power is too strong. Wording/grammar errors.

Andyman - Power Gem needs an effect, perhaps something that has to do with the fact that you can pull Energy from the discard. Missing the shuffle sentence in Charge's effect.

armaldoEX - Fury Cutter-type moves blow, don't use them. Wording is also off. Leaf Blade should have an effect to highlight its high critical rate chance, such as a flip for some extra damage. -30 in Resistance is missing.

XKurama93X - Beat Up is broken (careful with those Dark-types).

ShinyMarshtomp - One point deduction because I can't not penalize you for having a blando attack... but an effect won't fit. Your card is t3h awsum.

Nercinator - Wording/grammar errors. Scizor doesn't evolve, so you lose 20 points for violating that restriction.

Crazy Weavile - You can fit another attack in there. What rule do you speak of?
