*Stares at Elementalchomp9999* What was wrong? Pray tell, what was RIGHT?!?

do you think watchmen was gory?

Im thinking about going to see it but all my friends say its really gory..
could you tell me like what the gory things are XD

RE: do you think watchmen was gory?

it is gory, quite. And it also has scenes of well, adults.

RE: do you think watchmen was gory?

It has an epic innuendo cheese sex scene.
Gore isn't too bad, though cutting up of Vietnamese is quite prevalent :/

RE: do you think watchmen was gory?

yeah, it has a very graphical sex. It shows you it with "aleluya", also Dr.Manhattan always shows his sausage.

RE: The Simpsons Movie

It was a pretty good movie, actually. Surpassed my expectations, to say the least.

RE: do you think watchmen was gory?

I think the graohic novel is, I haven't seen the film but the grtaphic novel was, very.

RE: do you think watchmen was gory?

It was openly violent at times to the point even i was shocked. Not so much gory (see sweeny todd or kill bill) they were gory. And like others have said, Dr Manhattan really needed to invest in some clothes and yeah there were some interesting "adult scenes"

LOLZ.
Any...way, this is more a movie with adults scenes that with gore.
It also has references that might shock you.

Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

RE: Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

I think so. From the last few movies, they are getting a lot better. The first ones were good, and then they started to get really lame. The Darkrai one was great! I would have liked to see that one in a theatre. The 12th movie also looks really good, so I wouldn't mind at all to see that one on the big screen.

One thing that would worry me is that they may not get so much business. Sure, all the kids will go see it because "itz Pokemanz" but the older fans (especially the teens) may be reluctant to go see it. I personally would go, being 14, but could you imagine going out on Friday to se Pokemon, while everyone else went out to see "ultimate kill house" or something. (I made up that movie name. People tend to like bloody movies.)

My rant is done. For now...

RE: Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

I, for one, would love to see the films back in theatres. I mean, where else can you get that feeling of intense magnitude from watching a film? I'd love to see Movie #12 in the theatre, for sure... With all of the battling going on and the beautiful scenery... The big screen is almost a must for the film.

When shown on television, you're normally missing out on a lot - you've got to deal with mood-killing commercials, smaller images (versus the theatre's massive screen), and credits that are on 5x fast-forward and cut to the lower half of the screen.

However, making such a move could end up with PUSA (now Pokémon Company International, or whatever) losing a lot of money. But, perhaps it would be a good move - Pokémon's popularity is very strong, at least in the U.S., at this time.

And like ne68127 said, it could also, most likely, push back DVD release dates. (However, even if they put it in theatres, they probably still wouldn't include any special features on the DVD, so there'd be no reason for them to take longer making the DVD.) In addition, you'd have to pay to see the film, instead of just watching it on a free channel.

So, I guess with all the weighing of the pros and cons, I'd still want to see it in theatres. :)

RE: Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

The middle chunk of movies (from the Unown movie before the Deoxys movie) were lame. You can tell the movies have been on an upside since the Deoxys movie.

EDIT: I would like to see them in theaters, but it doesn't matter if they're in theaters or not.

RE: Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

I'd love to see the movies on the big screen, even though I'm in the older crowd I'd still go see them. That would be so cool.

RE: Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

I would love to see Pokemon in the theaters. I never saw the first few when they were in them.
The last few movies have been pretty good and the 12th is probably going to be the best.
The only problem is, the movie probably wouldn't make much money. Pokemon may be popular right now, but some parents might not want to take their kids to see a Pokemon movie in the theater. My parents hate Pokemon and I'm sure that plenty of others do too. Also, the older fans might be too embarrassed to go.

RE: do you think watchmen was gory?

Despite everything about it though, it ended up being a bit disappointing if you have read the graphic novel. And yes the softcore-porn scenes were a bit unnecessary. This movie was directed by the same guy who did 300 so expect that kind of violence level.

RE: Would you want the pokemon films to be back on the big screen?

The last time I saw saw a Pokemon movie in the theaters, it was difficult to enjoy it because of the audience.
