Pokemon (22)
1 Cleffa
4 Skarmory
4 Cobalion (NV)
2-2 Zoroark (B/W)
4-2-2/1 (2 Vileplume/1 Bellossom)

T/S/S (23)
3 Rare Candy
4 Sage's Training
4 Pokemon Communication
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Twins
4 Professor Oak's New Theory

Energy (15)
2 Darkness Energy (Special)
3 Double Colorless Energy
4 Metal Energy (Special)
6 Metal Energy (Basic)

General Idea is Cobalion/Vileplume lock as fast as possible.

Skarmory is to wall and get special Metal's on Cobalion and for twin bait.
Zoroark and Sp. Darkness are for Dragons and general tech.
Running full lime of twins so I can T2 Vileplume lock

Cards I've considered but can't find room for:
Seeker. With Spread decks gaining popularity it would be good to have 1-3 Seekers in the deck to bounce back my Vileplumes from getting sniped.
A 3rd Vileplume
More Basic Metal

I've considered dropping the DCE to 2 and adding more Basic Metal due to no longer having Tornadus' in my deck (don't need them) and so my metal energy will be more consistent.

Also thinking about going 3-2 with Zoroark to make room for the 3rd Vileplume.

I might drop the Cleffa as well since I have yet to use it in a game.

First, you should have full Communication for the fastest set up

- 1 Sage/FSL
+ 1 Collector

Looks like we are going a similar kind of deck (see Meta Metal Lock in Deck Garage) yet you are going a different route than I. You should drop the seeker, kind of makes your trainer lock invalid. They will most likaly have a good deal of trainers in their hand and as soon as that vileplume is gone you would only be doing them a favor. That said, your trainers will have to be edited as well. With the lock and Donphan's large retreat, you shouldnt have to worry about him thus Cryogonal is useless. Zekrom is not that useful with the flow of this deck and will just end up being almost useless. Lets take all of them out along with rainbow energy.

- 3 Evolite
- 2 Zekrom
- 1 Cryogonal
- 3 Rainbow
- 2 Seeker

Thats 11 free cards. Why not use these to have a Samurott line to counter Reshi?

+ 3-2-3 Samurott
+ 3 Basic Metal

Also please look at my deck and see if you can help me out as well :)

All the changes make sense it just seems REALLY Pokemon Heavy. :|

well maybe swap the zoroark line for some draw support and flower shop lady? thats the only other thing I can think of.

Made some adjustments. I'm going to keep running with this deck.

Pokemon (21)
1 Cryogonal (Ice Shard)
2 Zekrom
4 Skarmory
4 Cobalion (NV)
2-2 Zoroark (B/W)
3-1-2 Vileplume (UD)

T/S/S (23)
1 Flower Shop Lady
3 Eviolite
3 Rare Candy
4 Pokemon Communication
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Twins
4 Professor Oak's New Theory

Energy (16)
3 Rainbow Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
4 Metal Energy (Special)
5 Metal Energy (Basic)

Juniper is there to dump any trainers (or cards in general) I don't need at that time. I may play test copy cat instead but I'm weary cause of Yanmega.

Like this decklist a lot, but I would maybe try to squeeze in space for a single Kyurem, just to tech against fire decks (since they are arguably some of the most played in the format).

That's pretty much what the Zoroark and Sp. Dark energies are for so I can one shot dragons and BadBoar's.
If anything I might go 3-2 on the zoroark line (cause of catcher. You never know, right?) and add Kyurem as an extra insurance.

I may drop the Eviolites for Seekers. I played a few friends who run YMCA and Mewbox and Yanmega kept sniping my vileplumes and smaller basics. :|

Another Necro bump. This is my main deck.

I dropped the Eviolites because it didn't really make sense to have them in there since the point of the deck is to get Vileplume out asap.
Dropped them for Seekers (Vileplume has been getting sniped by Yanmega and Mewprime (Crobat) too much. :\

youre deck is a bit like mine but i use electrode and i dont have zoraork but i might just change. thx bro.

Likely going to drop FSL to run full engine of Rare Candy since I can't think of anything else to run. lol
Maybe drop FSL for a 3rd DCE.

Just did about 20 games of testing vs. ZPST and MegaJudge. (10 each)
ZPST out runs this deck in every way shape and form.

MegaJudge is a little better because they're both have a slow simmer before they can really start doing damage.
About to test against TyRam.

Huge necro bump.

After league this weekend I was inspired and decided to rebuild the deck. I only made a few alterations but I can already tell it plays a lot better.

Have you thought about maybe replacing the Zoroark line with Terakkion from NV, and putting in some rainbow or fighting? It would really help with Zekrom as it's first attack is pretty much Revenge but it's fighting type. Plus with the plume up they can't catcher and KO before it's a threat?

Just an Idea :)
