Nevertheless, I still laugh every time I see it. ^_^

We don't encourage works to be made in MS Paint (sorry dragonexpert).

Go ask Xous for some drawing lessons. ;0;

@Elite Stride: Do you have GIMP? I would greatly advise it over Paint (If that's what you were using). Especially if you are looking to make Graphic Art (Tags and "Sigs").

@SuperSleuth: I actually think you did a great job! Very detailed, and precise. I shall add it to the main post as a Beginner tutorial. Thank you very much.
 
I'm not too sure why everyone is freaking out over my use of paint when I have stated on numerous occasions that I have GIMP. If I knew how to use GIMP I probably would have. This little piece of art was more for fun and not a serious and full fledged signature/banner.

Just wanted to clarify.

My first try at anime-style drawing but didn't seem to turn out good.. >.<

Tried drawing a chibi as well..

The paper became a little crumpled so.. yeah... @.@ It spoilt the girl's face a little... >.>

I entered AoTW, got a vote a piece for two of my tags, out of three. Three more days of voting, I'll cross my fingers.
 
I am still eager to teach the beginning artists. I'd very much appreciate it if you all would assemble on skype. Myself, Sleuth, and SPM3 are consistently make ourselves available and you are not taking advantage of it.
 
I'm constantly online, but nobody is ever ready to do anything. You guys are usually making something, entering a contest, complaining about a hijacked thread, etc. So you can't blame us...

Maybe try setting up a time when you aren't distracted that works for everyone.

You hardly even say anything when you're online, how are we supposed to magically know you want tutoring? If all the people that need help were on more often, maybe we wouldn't be tempted to delve into trivial conversation.

Bottom line: Get on, tell us you want help, then we'll help you.
 
I was responding to the comment stating that none of us are ever online and available, which is simply not true. I get on skype to learn more then just to chat, there's nothing 'magical' about it. That's why I'm saying that we should organize better by setting up a time that works so that we can focus on just that.

We did that. You said Sleuth's video had "horrible quality" so you couldn't see anything. When Sleuth found some other videos for you to watch, you said you would watch them later.

The best way to learn is to practice. Following tutorials helps a lot, too (try searching "GIMP signature tutorials" on deviantART).
 
Elite Stride: We are on Skype for the majority of the day waiting on anyone to come in to ask questions. In this large twilight zone of us waiting, of course we are going to do other things. However, none of usually will engage in an activity that can not be easily dropped to lend you our help.

To be honest, it's also not fair that along with having to wait for you to come online that we also have to force you to learn? When you log on you, as the one needing help, should ask us or inform us that you have time now and would like our help. Sitting silently will do you no good.

And as a final note, anything that we discuss on Skype should stay on Skype. Not for entirely for privacy reasons, but there's no reason to bring any irrelevant conversation to this thread. I would like you to keep that in mind if you please.
 
Maybe just make a 1-to-1 convo if you want/need tutoring instead of the group chat..
 
Aww.. I thought we were going to use ES' one.. xD
