That is a huge improvement Fatal. I might as well enter the Spiderman Contest while there is still time.

yes that's why I suggested on a smaller scale with more time than a week to get prepped etc.
And I'm doing my spiderman tag now so please wait XP

I'm eager to see what you guys come up with. You can check the group photobucket for a couple renders if you're looking.

Here is mine:

Cant comment on it right now because Im a little lazy right now to do so. :/

Spidey's recolor makes him look extremely dark; almost a silhouette even. The background is also over-sharpened and doesn't have any blending. You can see how the black parts stick out from the warm colors behind it. Instead, try keeping Spiderman's colors the same, but blend him in with the background some more by smudging/erasing.

@lilsparks: Seems great to me. Nice flow, renders seems blended and that stuff. I really like that red color for some reason.

Opinions?

@Sparks Using some methods from this one currently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bn9rCsJEROQ

Some stuff I do on my own, with no tut.

@EPM: The blue part over Electivire isn't helping. Remember, Electivire is the focal point, so you don't really want to have anything covering it. Covering the focal point distracts the viewer from the main point of the sig. Also, there isn't any flow and lighting. The C4D's make the sig go to the left and to the right, with no real direction. Without any lighting, the sig seems kind of flat and unfinished.

To fix these, use black and white soft brushes set on Soft Light for the lighting. And then, pick a direction that works well the render sig and stick to it.

EDIT: Oh, and you didn't blend Electivire too well. Adding the blue part over Electivire doesn't help with blending.

Welcome to our newest member Hyperbeem. He's a fairly new graphic artist, and I'm sure he'll learn a lot here.

My first set of advice for him is to get Gimp.

Well, not much blending but... attempt at drawing my fav pokemon:

Something screwed up when I downloaded GIMP on my most terrible and old laptop. Basically the same reason I can't get PO :( When my parents decide I can get a decent laptop all these dreams of Gimp and PO might come true :p I do my best by trying to find ways to do Gimp stuff on PDN but yeah...

For being fairly new, you did a very good job! One thing I would like to say is that the black lines around Deoxys should be lighter, since it is kind of distracting having dark lines around your focal.

Oh xD that was my fail try at making speed lines to make it look faster, but yeah next time I'll keep it lighter around the main thing. Thanks! What do you guys think of this kind of neon art I made?

I kind of messed up the brightness on glow a little bit...
