On topic, since this is technically 1.5 discussion, the 1.5 pre release is out. I've been playing it a ton these past couple days, and my favorite part so far is definitely the new Skeleton AI on hard difficulty. They'll shoot from twice as far away now, and they start shooting faster the closer you get. The new death messages are fun too.

But with the less random enchantment damage I had to Nerf and edit many items in my CTM. (Which I also had to restart) This includes your safety scissors.
I also love the new mobs on fire inflict fire thing. My cave spiders say thank you.
Stacked mobs was also very cool. Flying exploding chickens? Yes please.
So was the naming mobs. My redstone seems to need improving now though.

That's only zombies, and only on hard. Although skeletons can spawn with flame bows that actually light you on fire.

My cave spiders will set you on fire. I have tested it myself.

Yes there is... You can't just build randomly, you always have to have some sort of style/mind set of what your going to build. In Minecraft generally displays styles via materials, and the way people think of it.
