I was gonna mention it. We pros need more bragging space. jk

I just continued it in my bio.

When I edited my bio I hate to REMOVE 500 characters to fit the limit.

Words allowed here could not describe my opinion towards this.
 
Not really, providing you use your space effectively.

It's at least 50% shorter, but you haven't lost any information about your accomplishments in the process.

As for your bio space, I don't think any of us are interesting enough to fill it up with just biographical information. For friend lists, just use the buddy list. People on that list should know why they're on there, so no need to put it all in your bio. Chat quotes can easily fit into any leftover space in your bio or put them in your personal notepad.

Why is there even a limit in the first place? I see no justification for it other than making people pissed off lol. Unless there's going to be some idiot who fills his bio with random spam (which isn't even a big deal in the first place since it's just text), we should remove it.

Yup. It's not like mods can edit offending or spammy bios or something.
Oh wait.

...also the way that Likes look like right now is slightly distracting, but to be honest I can't think of where it would look better. I know before only mods and such could see it; can everyone else see it now? (About half the posts before this one since the update have been liked at least once, for those who want to test.)
 
Yes, members can see the likes too. It is kind of annoying, maybe there should be a way so you didnt have to see it if you didnt want to
 
It should be so that you don't have to open the like thing to see who liked it, it's ridiculous. It should just say:
Likes: Teal

Instead of
1 user Likes TDL's post
The following 1 user Likes TDL's post:
Teal
 
I know this is gonna sound crazy, but how about we unbold the "who liked this" notification. It's distracting.

And would it be possible to move it under signatures? Maybe even below the reply/like/report bar?

(as a side note, my browser no longer crashes on liking a post; restarting my computer seemed to fix it)
 
The location is ok as long the change I proposed is made and the thing is unbolded.
 
I still can't see anything relating to the liking of posts, aside from the actual button, on chrome.

Can someone screenshot what is is supposed to look like?

Ok, I can see the likes thing as a guest, but not when I'm logged in.

Help?
 
We're working on everything you guys are complaining about. Give it a day or two and we should have it fixed. lol
 
Tomorrow I'll fix the capital L. I don't have the time to go through to fix the language variable it has right now. I lengthened bios and the section for accomplishments.

Now I can go through it and trim out some unnecessary content without botching the whole thing.

Agreed! It's not like almost every other forum out there had this exact system in place already, right? :p
 
Right now there isn't any option to restrict how often a posts can be liked by a particular member. My next day off from work isn't until tomorrrow. Maybe I can do an edit to the plugin to change that.
 
I can't see the section that says "this post has _ likes" or whatever it is. Also whenever I like a post the loading thing just pops up and stays on that post until I refresh the page. Thanks for putting in the feature, though. I think it's pretty cool.

Same problem here, firefox is awkward. Chrome works fine on the same computer

GET IT TOGETHER MODS! just jk plz dont ban
