I just hope it turns out to be a good idea. If it turns out to be abused/overused, I'm going to petition its removal.
But I'm totally willing to give it a chance and see where it goes first.
 
It's better than threads getting bumped just to say thanks or something like that.
 
Now we only need a like count on our profiles!!!!!!

Why did that instantly remind me of the Rulings forum?

I just hope people don't spam it like in the Writer's Corner or something.
 
I found an option to allow you to cancel your like on the post. If you mean unlike because you don't agree with it, that isn't possible at this time.

I was using the default button. If anyone has a better looking button I could use that instead.
 
We did a quick chop job on the button. if anyone wants to do a little better job, feel free. Otherwise, this is what we have for now.
 
Why is it so messy all of a sudden? You probably saved it in a bad format?

Why are Private Messages bolded all of a sudden? (I have no new messages.)
 
We wanted to make PMs and the Chat more noticable. Some members don't reply to PMs that we send them. This might help with the issue.
 
You get a big notice about new messages anyway (on the banner). That bolding is kind of annoying. The chat can stay bolded, though.
 
What if I tried to code it so it shows up as bold if you have a new message and regular if you don't?

Btw. I redid the unlike button to be smaller and to point down:

Please give me the original like button so I can "chop" it, because it looks horrible atm.
 
I'll upload the unlike button tomorrow. I need to eat dinner then get some rest before work.

is there a way to move where it says how many likes a post has? like near the post number or next to the like button? right now it's kind of awkward.
 
I'll see what I can do tomorrow. I'll probably have to do a lot of edits to make it work.
