OOC: Wait, can we have ANY effect on the plot? I feel like the entire direction of the game is just steered by the leaders, and there's just hardly any interaction, or there is, but we're just told what to do. I wasn't planning on SP finding the journal right away and solving everything. I was leading it up to something else. But instead my contribution to the plot was overtaken and SP was role played for? Not that I don't have anything against this RPG, it's just that's it's just as productive to watch the leaders form the storyline than to actually be in the game, but not being able to really do much. Ah well, I'll stick around and post every chance I get just cuz it's MLP.

IC: Smartie Pie, dissapointed, headed back to her house. She looked at the biography that she had found. "I don't get it, Rocky..." she said to herself.

OoC: Wait, your character was taken? catutie, it's okay to steer them right, but don't RP for them. As for your concerns, we're leading you towards our story yes. We're trying to get you to the clues without straight out saying go here. For your post however, you found a book named after Twilight? You can't just say you found these books with research or hints in it. :p I know what you're getting at, we are controlling a lot. We'll let off, but you can't jump right into finding her research right away. Besides, yes, we have the story planned out, with major points we're trying to get you to hit. We're not goign to make it a linear path though. Outcomes will depend on how you handle something, and once we get to the main "mission", it'll have much more freedom.

Crystal Flash finished packing up her things - a warm saddle, some food, a map, a book, a pen, and a journal. And, of course, her birth certificate. She turned off the light in her apartment and trotted outside, noticing a commotion in the library...

She ignored it and went on her way. Spike could probably help, but she didn't want to be rude. Instead, she kept moving on towards her destination: Canterlot.

OOC: I was going to make her go to Zecora's instead to watch CrazyAipom struggle with rhyming but I decided that was a) mean and b) a bit out of character for Crystal.

OOC: sorry but the clue is right there people...if you just talk to spike you will get it and move on...come on we throw something at you and then you grab a random book :p. im just avoiding people making there own alternate plot tangents you find a book that says the parasprites are doing this...and then we have to go find instruments and we never get to what was supposed to be done :p

OOC: I believe you missed the point CA. I wasn't going to make her find the book with the research in it. That would just wreck the entire point of the RP. Besides, SP is smarter than to find a book, bring it back, and then have it fall apart. All I'm saying is that it would've been nice if I could've just finished my idea, or at least asking in PM where I'm going with it because obviously you all got the idea she was going to find the book right away. Now I don't really know what to do, so I'll just watch.

OoC:Okay, now I saw what happened. I'm so sorry. I just read the post back more. I think catutie and I assumed you were in Twilight's library like everyone else, sorry, I'm very sorry. We had thoughjt you took over what you found in the library while we were setting it up. Our mistake.

Smartie flipped through it.

"...So THAT'S where she kept her research about the issue."

Smartie rushed outside...somewhere.

Well 'somewhere' could mean Twilight's house, but I wasn't really planning on that. But yea, no prob. Just a misunderstanding :) I see your point, if she was in Twilight's library, then my post would've sucked for the RPG, and I would've done the same thing. :p



IC: Rocky woke Smartie up. "What is it?"

He held up a picture of Spike, then pointed to the door.

"I'm not in the mood...wait, where did you even get that picture?"

Rocky looked at the ground suspiciously.

"...Ah OK, you're his biggest fan, huh? Anyway, we're not gonna find him so he can autograph your poster." Smartie Pie went back to bed.

Rocky grew angry and threw her into a wagon, then pushed her out the door.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

She crashed into Twilight's house, into all of the books, and the ponies gathered there.

"I'm REALLY sorry, I've caused so much of a mess..." Smarite Pie said. "Oh that little Rocky...I'm dissapointed in him!" she said as she picked up some of the books.

OOC: i just saw library and was like...whaaaaaa now there are secret hatches in twilight library? I DONT THINK SO....also start asking spike questions. you may find some "things" and "stuff"

"And you're Spike, right? Pleased to meet you," Smartie Pie said, "My pet turtle...is a very...big fan of you," she said enraged. Wait! The issue...Spike...Twilight's assitant....TWILIGHT'S ASSISTANT! So that's why Rocky... she thought to herself. "Sorry, I come into your home and trash everything, so I'm sure you don't think I'm worthy but I need to ask...would you share your knowledge on the issue?"

Spike stared at the new hole in his home, and all the destruction caused by these ponies.

"You have nay idea how long this is going to take to clean up! If Twilight was still here-" Spike paused. "Wait, I have fans? Well, about time I get some respect even if it's from a turtle." Spike shook his head. "Well, what's so important that all of you couldn't just knock on the door?"

"Don't worry, I'll pay for all of the damages," Smartie Pie said, "as for your fan...there he is now."

Rocky walked in the room and shook Spike's claw.

"As for why we didn't knock...my story is self explanatory," Smarite Pie said.

Rocky sulked.

IC: "UHG. We don't have time for this!" Crash said as she got impatient over the fan of spikes. Crash pushed the dragon out of the way and headed to Twilight's bedroom. "I'm going to go look for some kind of research that Twilight did when all of this began. Maybe she left us some kind of hint or SOMETHING somewhere."

Shade,not quite the talker, spoke up anyway because he too, is anoyed!

"Like I said Spike, we all need to find a book that details all of the Everfree Forest creatures. We think, or maby I think, somepony should put a stop to this madness, and get to the bottom of things!" ~At least, not the turtle...~ thought shade amusing himself.

OOC: *Bursts in to RPG room* I'm BACK!:cool: Long car trips and no internet connection is also bad for my health. :p

"Wow! That was an interesting commotion at the library. But now I can wait up here until the catch up. Well if they ever catch up!" said Love flying in the sky. But then she stopped flying for real and waited until they caught her. 'Well now I wait. Better get caught then to be on a wanted poster. But I wonder what captain Onyx would say to me?' thought Love.

OoC: I was gone yesterday and Friday so now I'm catching up on reading this thread.

OOC: im here for now...but not for long lol.

IC: Crash began to pick books of the shelves. "History of dragons? No. Sleep Overs 101? No. Roads to being a Queen? NO!" Crash said as she started ripping books off the shelf and throwing them around the room.

"Hey, dinosaur, where is the book we are looking for. Or at least some notes on what is going on. Hurry up we don't have much time!" Crash yelled to the dragon from the other room

"I'M A DRAGON!" Spike shouted back. "Look, don't bother looking for a book that can explain what's out there. Twilight already tried to, she spent days looking. All she came out with were speculations. She might have left her notes here...somewhere..."

"Well I knocked over all of the books, cleaned them up, and nothing. Clearly we need to look elsewhere," Smartie Pie said as she looked under the shelves. Rocky went upstairs to look around.
