Ok guys, I am trying to save up some money since I want to be able to buy some things. I was going to draw some Pokemon, or do something like that, but I dont know if I am good enough yet. I could do babysitting, but I dont think I can do anything like that, since I am only 12. I need some ideas guys, please help.

Go old school with a Lemonade stand. It may not rake it in, but still.

Have you ever mowed your lawn before? My sister's boyfriend does it for my dad for like, $10=$15 Depending on how well he did. Or you could try walking your neighbors dog or something. You could even do a yard sale with stuff your parents approve of.

I babysit, it's really not that hard. Do you have any neighbors or younger cousins. I took some quick little class and it was fine, I started when I was around your age.

Have any old video games that you could always sell to someplace like game stop.

Most of the people in my neighbourhood are either old, or girls older than me. All the babysitting is taken, but they are kids.(7-) And the other neighbourhood, I dont know about. I will try mowing lawns, but my dad says that that is my brothers job. Lemonade stands, could work.

Err... do you have a performing talent? Go to a market night event and put a hat out or something. People really do leave money if they think it's good. My friend Eric and I have done that before playing our Violins and have made over $40 in one night.

Not spectacular, but more than a lemonade stand would get you.

There's a good chance of you collecting Pokemon Cards, right? Sell some of the ones you feel you can part with.

well my parents don't give me money and when i really need money i go looking for bottles in trash and last time i looked fot bottles i found a Yugio! card which was worth 4 $ so i sold it

I'd go for lemonade stand. Especially on a holiday that has a parade. Last year I made $ 113.00 just selling it, but I was nice and donated it all. And if you need money during the winter: snow shovel driveways
Good luck.

Lets see, well the Lemonade stand is a pretty good idea, I only made 8 bucks the year I did it (lol) but we live in a very small neighborhood. I'd also maybe sell some of my old Pokemon Cards or something like that over the internet. If you sell them in set form or like a big lot, they could goup to $40+. Also babysitting would work because it's not that hard and you can make some cash. Good luck on your decision and I hope you can earn some extra cash! :D

Babysitting can be a an enriching experience, as well as a decent source of income. The only problem you might run into is that people under a certain age can only be a legal supervisor for a specific amount of time. If you are twelve then you could probably stay with a child for two or three hours, but you should check your specific state regulations for chaperoning.

I would go with the Lemonade stand myself. Me, My brother, and my sister had one and made around $10 in a day. But then again we also had a garage sale at the same time.... You might not make a LOT, but it's worth a try depending on how much money you need.

That really requires one to have a skill in the first place, which one should really not assume. At least a lemonade stand doesn't require anything. Just patience which if you work hard enough, anyone should be able to have. :]

Want to make money fast?

-Gamble. Just kidding. XP That's how you lose money.

I would go with the Lemonade Stand, BUT: include other drinks like Orange Juice and Coke. That helps too...pulling weeds, (from the root, don't forget it!) mowing lawns, watering plants, vacuuming, dusting furniture, taking out trash, baking cookies, (maybe) is all gonna help. :)

Well, a group of people just had a fight in my neighbourhood, and the police are here across the street, so I dont think I will be doing anything now. Keep giving ideas please.

Why don't you buy coke at a bulk price and self them off individually at a higher orice. I used to that at my school (not allowed to :p). In about a year I had a profit of say $900

I made about $40 mowing lawns when I was your age with my sister helping me, It goes alot faster if one person does the weed wacking and edging while the other mows, you should talk to your brother about that.

I would also try Ebay, I've made $214.45 this year selling random stuff I find.

Thats when of the smartests things I've ever heard. I will do this, I'm inspired by you.;)

A good idea to try is to talk to your parents/family members about giving you money for good grades. I know my grandpa gives me and my sister $50 for every report card we get straight A's on, so its a good incentive to do well in school as well as a way for making money.

I would also suggest talking to your family about having a garage sale. If you put your old things for sale at good prices and advertise your garage sale well, you can really make a lot of quick money that way.

I would agree with selling things like pop and candy to your classmates after buying them in bulk, but the school would catch on fast and most likely you would get in trouble....I personally dont prefer to take the risk there, but it has a high reward to go along with the high risk.

lol garage sales...

What I do is when someone is trading, I say would you by it from me, and I sell off cards for like 2 bucks, give or take depending on its value, as I have made a good chunk already. I also baby sit, and you want to baby sit houses that have a few younger kids, which means more money. Mow lawns, garage sales work, ummm idk, have a lemonade stand! Lol...
