RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

meh. if that turns out to be a false assuption we cant trust anything in the notes.

Joey, i am already aware of that, but that doesnt justify as enough proof to me.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

(*points to post #286 of this thread* I totally called this theory up in the first place. I say it's viable, though I'm unsure why 42C would have left it out in the description if this was so.)

"I hope you realize, Piplup, that if Lanturn is killed and so am I or SY in the night, regardless of whether the murderer did lay claim on us last night, you will look very suspicious as a suspect all the same. You could be hiding some sort of 'storm' secret, like 'The Storms' clan or something else like that.

"...as much as I'd hate to admit it, though, Lanturn does have a bit more on the evidence side with you. Wasn't he somehow involved with the Unown incident too? I can't quite remember..." She paused, glancing around. "But one thing still has me with the HP issue: why would the murderer say 'everything has to burn away' if they used HP Electric in the first place? Why not 'everything has to be struck down by lightning' or something like that? It's a recurring thing on most notes that the murderer leaves behind..."

(...although it seems it would be impossible in the world of Pokemon altogether to have HP Fire be able to kill Suicune and Kyogre so easily...)

"But, I refuse to vote so far. There's one large potential clue that doesn't quite fall in place with Lanturn. True, we have 'calm before the storm'. True, we may have the 'Unown clue' attachment to him. True, Lanturn could easily wipe all of us out with electricity if he wanted to. But what about the 'ice' part that's been so avidly typed over and over again? Laturn, if I remember correctly, has little/no affinity to cold in general, as in it doesn't live in cold." Maelstra frowned as that. "True, he may be our best lead, but what if he's another innocent...?

"Also, there's been something that's bugging me...has anyone else noticed the whole random 'F for Flare, G for Gale' or however it went bit? It seems like that may be some sort of vital clue, but I cannot guess how either or relates to this game...

I have realized that I made myself look suspicious, but... *Finds seaweed to cook up* We need something to eat. Anyone want sushi rolls? *Goes silent, looking around for ingredients*

OOC: i rofled irl when i read this xD

IC: Changing the subject much?the subject only makes you seem moore suspicious Joey.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

Not trying to, just trying to get people something to eat. In all honesty, let's look at our clues. So far, we have our storm one, then the one that Vapy is next. Also, I believe I said HP Grass. Biggest clue, look where you would not expect. I will reveal this on Day 5, if it comes around. I have a pretty good theory, just need to work the kinks out. That way, my fail quote is not changed again and it can be formulated just right.

Maybe it means where the current here first began. If not those two things though, why don't we try heat? However, that would require HP Electric. Luckily, I have that. Here goes! *Uses HP Electric* Looks like it worked!

(If you were referring to yourself when it came to HP Grass, Joey, I hope you know you've been caught dead in a lie. This also reflects well with the whole 'Luvdisc motif' thing I have. :B)

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

In all honesty, that was forgetfulness. Really, how does one expect a person to remember more than 2 weeks ago on a certain post with other things going on in his life? Let's get through today and figure this out.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

Lanturn sighed as he saw more and more pokemons voting for him. He just didn't know how to express that he wasn't the murderer... Lanturn swam around in the ocean thinking of a plan... As Lanturn was investigating every single letter the letter was always revealing who the murder would kill, but of course there wasn't much of a hint how they got who they wanted to kill. There just needed to be more hints. Innocent pokemon couldn't be killed for no apparent reason...

"Guys I think we shouldn't vote for anyone... We can't have a random pokemon die each time. We have to wait for another hint."

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

*Passes it down to mamma, then leaves all except two here* Hold on, allow me to get some jewel for you guys.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

Important rule for all regarding CoG:

A Y-P-P-Y rule is now in effect for the giving out of clues.

It takes 2 days for a ghost for a ghost to recover from the physical strain of appearing to all in reality, and thus Suicune will be able to give a hint out tomorow. This also means that Mudkip will be able to give out a hint the day after tomorow.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 4 Ends 5/13

^Randomness

Red Blastoise, please PM me with your vague vague hint and explanation.

Please stop this plague,
my last line will seem vague
But important it is,
Please forget this fish

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Night 4 Ends 5/16

sonicyellow has been killed.

Traces of Hidden Power Fire were found on his body, but Hidden Power Electric was also evident.

Another note, etched in the sand:
:) You guys are too fun really. I'm feeling so generous now that I'll give you another hint or two:
'gems' are all fakes
and black and while is only an MJ song 2 me.
In all seriousness, keep this up. This is horrendous fun for me to see you guys bash your head on the wall like this. Next one to die will be the inactive one.
Everything must burn away to come back even stronger. Come and find me. -M

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 5 Ends 5/19

Crud! No one yet! *Ponders* Maybe we should look at our original hints...

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 5 Ends 5/19

the inactive one...
*Gulps*

Joey, in the note, it states that the 'Gems' you are selling, are all fakes.
First off, i want my money back.
Second, I think you are being WAY too generous to everyone here.
these fake gems are quite the sceme.
You seem suspicious.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 5 Ends 5/19

I had no idea they were fakes. *Gives money back* In all honesty, this seems like a scheme to frame me, with the notes left from the Murderer. In other notes, it said it is in the most obvious of places, I believe. Well, against Crystal, I have this:
M for Maelstro (Incorrect spelling?)
Note setup against me, just like she has been lately
Acid Armor, the move used to burn away and come back stronger
This was the plan I had mentioned before. I am quite certain in this, even more so than Lanturn. I will not cast a vote yet, but this is my biggest lead. Not out of revenge, but out of facts.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 5 Ends 5/19

Don't forget to vote for the hints from people. Neither Mudkip or Luvdisc have been able to regain enough energy to appear in the real world yet.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 5 Ends 5/19

well you can't sell gems that say *reads* "Made in China"
