I think the writers focus more on how they can translate lessons of friendship into an episode more than how they can give RD some more screen time.

The lessons of Sweet and Elite and Sisterhooves Social really could only be effectively explained using Rarity - no one else aspires to be of high status in the case of Sweet and Elite, and Rarity is the only one other than Applejack with a sibling. Applejack would be a poor choice to learn the lesson because she and Apple Bloom are already very close.

Rarity's Element of Generosity makes her a perfect candidate to learn the lesson explained in Suited for Success, and the fact that Rarity is such a girl makes her a great way to explain A Dog and Pony Show's lesson.

Look throughout the episodes and you'll find that this works for everypony. When a lesson comes that is best learned by Rainbow Dash, we'll have another RD episode.

The latest episode actually made me dislike Rarity a little, however, I love on how 1. Pinkie carried a briefcase full of Balloons and 2.; on how she has a Party Cannon XD

Wait she has 7 episodes......and no most of the episodes are about the group. Not too many are around a certain pony the whole time. Look at AJ. She has had Applebuck Season, that's about it.

Rainbow Dash now has 2 episodes....that's all

Fluttershy has...um...2? I guess you can count Green Isn't Your Color too so that's 3...ya...not alot

Pinkie Pie has had a little more. I think about 3 (Party of One, Griffon the Brush Off, Feeling Pinkie Keen)

Rarity is leading the pack...There isn't really an explanation she just is...I just wanted an excuse to post that pic

Edit: Lol...PMJ then Rarity must have alot to learn xD

Sonic Rainboom turned into a Rarity episode...well I guess it was both there episodes. Still Rarity has had many more episodes focused on her than the rest of them.

And ponies are still complaining we haven't had a really strong AJ, Pinkie or FS episode, when there are still about 15 episodes left this season.

Party of One is one of my favorites and I would say that is a strong Pinkie episode. We need more AJ episodes. Also FS hasn't really had her own episode...she had Green Isn't Your Color but that was still pretty Rarity focused. She had Stare Master but that was taken over by CMC who were amazing in it....yep...she hasn't really had an episode :/

There are 15 episodes left after the "Heart's Warming Eve" episode in two weeks. We'll probably see an AJ, FS and Pinkie episode among them.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL I knew that existed somewhere xD. I think they are trying to give each characters there own episodes. RD got hers, Rarity got hers. The others will get theirs...

Too much Twilight. She may be the main character, but she doesn't need to be in every dang episode.
