Okay, so I just finished watching the last episode (D
and it was good.
After watching the first season instead of just going of of pictures I have learned that my first assumptions were right on, for the most part.
I have extra love for Twilight Sparkle because purple. Also, magic. Couldn't really ask for a cooler character :O
Rarity is such a drama queen. Her fits are so cute:
"LEAVE ME ALOOOOONE! I WANT TO BE ALONE! I WANT TO WALLOW IN...WHATEVERITISTHATPONIESARESUPPOSEDTOWALLOWIN! ...Do ponies wallow in pity? Oh, listen to me, I don't even know what I'm supposed to wallow in! I'M SOO PATHETIIIIC"
d'awwww. And then I saw her get wings and I was like *cutegasm*. She has the whole white/purple sexiness going on and I find her to be cuter than Twilight Sparkle so I'd have to say Rarity edges her out as my
li favorite pony.
Of course as a fan of cute things I can't not love Fluttershy. She's so sweet that when she greets you, you get diabetes. She just seems a little too afraid of the world, though...but her meltdown in episode 26 was awesome (no episode spoilers, just Fluttershy freaking out):

I don't know why I didn't see it coming earlier, it's classic. Easily takes the #3 spot.
As for Rainbow Dash and Applejack, uh... well, I guess they're hot for each other I guess? I frequently forget they exist.
Anyway anypony who hasn't heard Eurobeat Brony's remixes should do so... here's hoping season 2 is just as awesome as season 1.
