Nationals/Worlds format

No, the last deck that there was a lot of hype for was Keldeo/Blastoise. But yeah same point, that sucks too. Japan's results are always wrong because their metagame is so different.

Don't be ignorant and stupid. Keldeo did great in Japan, and did equally great in US. Keldeo/Blastiose sucks, you say? That's why people shouldn't take advice from nonplayers...

Yeah since when does a Tier 1 deck, maybe even the BDIF or close to that, suck? have you ever played or used it? B/K will stay strong until next format.

...

WOW.

I get that sarcasm doesn't convey well over the internet, but I'm far more insulted by the fact that you think I would ever consider Keldeo Blastoise to be bad realistically than anything else that has been said.

No, horrible sarcasm doesn't convey over the internet.
No offense, but you could have worded that A LOT better.

[08:39] <Riskbreakers> and no offense but DV
[08:39] <Riskbreakers> i may forget which specifically but you've been wrong already a lot
[08:40] <Riskbreakers> even before
[08:40] <Riskbreakers> so they'd probably expect that reply of yours to be non-sarcastic

Blastoise Keldeo got good results in Japan. Blastoise Keldeo got good results here. Therefore when I say its proof that Japan's results don't match ours this makes me non-sarcastic? Okay.

Stop discussing this. DV, you suck at being sarcastic. Everyone else, you suck at telling when someone is being sarcastic. Now get back on topic ;-;

You suck answering my previous question about what's interesting about next format where it's just beatdown everywhere lol

I must be like a human sarcasm detector because I immediately got that was sarcasm lol. It's obvious that Keldeo/Blastoise was good in Japan and here...lol

ANYWAY, on the topic. Thundurus/Deoxys will most likely be extremely good. BDIF? I don't know about that. Other decks won't stand a chance? Ok, now you really lost me.

I expect Keldeo/Blastoise/Black Kyurem to remain popular and good. I really don't see that much that changes for the deck. Frozen City hurts, but the deck will adapt. It also gets Super Energy Retrieval as if it needed more Energy recovering nonsense.

Darkrai will probably be pretty good too. And Big Basics too. Laser shenanigans will be everywhere and the decks have very strong early games. Rayquaza/Eelektrik I've always been hesitant on. But it just seems like _the deck never dies_ no matter what comes out. Another deck that can donk easily? Welp, we'll just see if he can stay down (probably not). So yeah, I just don't see one deck being the clear favorite right now. I may not be testing this format, but I just find it hard to believe other decks will drop off completely.

dmaster out.

I was just toying around with plasma cards, and I ended up with Lugia ex, Thunderus ex and deoxeys ex. Anyone think that might work?
And what's the definition of plasma box or what specific cards are used in plasma box?

PlasmaBox (Or Thundurus EX/Deoxys EX, PlasmaBox was just the name I gave it) generally consists of Thundurus EX, Deoxys EX, Plasma Kyurem, and techs like Lugia EX and/or Snorlax. The main strategy is just to overpower and outspeed your opponent by doing massive damage with Thundurus and HypnoBank early and then pulling off crazy combos mid-late game with Kyurem and the 1-of techs.

Lugia EX and Thundurus EX will be a really nice combo. Getting set up isn't much of a problem and just correspond between using thunder knuckle and plasma gale.

Klinkklang seems to have a chance against PlasmaBox. After All they can't really do much with EXs if they can't attack..

Plasma Kyurem. Need I say more?

Klinklang is going to have a really hard time fighting off 150-180 damage attacks from it every single turn, not to mention the devastation a late game Snorlax can cause. It might stand a chance because Cobalion EX discards their energy, but I can't see it being a positive matchup.

I Feel Like Snorlax Wouldn't do too much in this match up, or at least for my list. It focuses on screwing the Early game for the opponent, unless that is, That Lugia Donks Early Game. Plasma Kyurem Certainly has more of a Chance, but With Plasmabox Around, I can say Klinklang becomes Tier 1.

I can't see how Klinklang gets any better than it is. Sure, Cobalion's first attack is annoying against Kyurem, but PlasmaBox not only outspeeds it but has plenty of options to KO stuff once the Klang goes up.

The huge part of this matchup (PlasmaBox vs. KK) is the first few turns. Plasma Box can overrun KK or KK can get set up and slow down PlasmaBox (Kyurem is easy to kill). Really the only options are Kyurem and possible Snorlax.

Plasma Kyurem Thrashes Klinklang, specially if you tech in a Plasma Frigate and put a plasma energy on Kyu
