Ok, I rescind my original post. I would honestly prefer to see Spurs-Heat go seven games in an incredibly competitive series.

*with the Spurs winning in the end

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Lebron's math lesson at his postgame interview:

“I was looking at the stat sheet, and it says that they had 21 second-chance points. I don’t really understand how that is possible with only six offensive rebounds. I’m very good in math. The only way you can get a second-chance point is if you can get an offensive rebounds, right? Am I correct? So even if you hit a three off of six offensive rebounds, that’s still only 18 points. So I don’t understand how that works. But we had chances. Yeah, that’s kind of weird. I don’t understand. Am I right or am I wrong? That’s crazy.”

Damn, I guess he didn't need college to understand srs math.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Maybe he should apply some of the vector calculus he learned in high school on the court and perhaps he'll beat the Spurs in the Finals for once.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I am on the spurs bandwagon as much as the next guy, but I wonder.... Do you think losing the NBA final will keep LeBron in Miami? I would much rather have him win the title this year and leave Miami in free agency, than have him lose and feel like he has more to do there. Do any of us want to see LeBron with the heat for much longer? No.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I'm apathetic to what team he spends his future with. I know some fans would like to see him return to the Cavs and bring a championship to Cleveland, but it really makes no difference to me. And I really really don't want to see the Heat win another championship. I hate the team and their "fans."

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

How long do you think it is before Stern gets the Spurs-hating Joey Crawford to referee one or more of the games this series?

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Iirc Joey Crawford will be at game two lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Heat need to win this game, whether or not the they "help" from the refs.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

And at the end of the day the Spurs managed to split the first set of road games for them. Now they have the next three games at home, where they need to take at least two of three to be in good position for the final road set.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Gary Neal is slaughtering the Heat right now.

Come on TMac, get some points!

T-Mac deserves a ring.

And hall of fame selection after a retirement, although a ring is ultimately more important in the end.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The Heat had an above-average night. They only lost by 36 lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

LeBron 7-21 with a -32 +/-.

I never want to hear another comparison to MJ ever again.
