LeBron 7-21 with a -32 +/-.

I never want to hear another comparison to MJ ever again.

So sad that even Melo has better nights.

Two rebounds and three assists for TMac in seven minutes.

That game 3 was great. I don't think I've ever seen so many 3's just get repetitively drained. Lebron being completely ineffective just makes it that much better. Heat outscored 14-35 in 4th lolololol

Jason Kidd is the coach of the Nets. How do u guys think he will do?

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

He has no experience. If he was an assistant before this decision, I'd actually take things seriously.

If Spurs win the Finals, I'm betting that Danny Green is Finals MVP. Everyone else is playing inconsistent, while Kawhi Leonard isn't putting up the other stats to back up his great defense on LBJ.

Nets should have stuck with Avery Johnson, honestly.

So, Coach Kidd. It'll be interesting to see what he does over there. Oldest Player to youngest coach in a matter of weeks. I think the Nets are really taking a chance here. I could see Kidd being an assistant but it's much too early for him to be a Head Coach. Nevertheless, I'll be hoping he does well but I doubt he'll make it past the All Star Break especially considering how trigger happy the Nets are.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The only reason I can think of for the switch is that Kidd was just playing with them. It may seem like a negative, but he knows how the team wants to work. This way, they'll get much more communication between the players and the coaching staff. We have have to remember that this a new team just getting their bearings. However, I think he's still too inexperienced in the technical part of a coaching job.

I honestly don't get how they picked Kidd over Brian Shaw. Welp, hopefully the Clippers scoop him off the market now.

Or publicity. Publicity = $$$

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

If you want publicity you sign Jason Collins in the offseason lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

As I feared, the Spurs don't have Green and Neal's hot three point shooting to rely on with the Heat focusing its defense on guarding the perimeter.

New drinking game: Shot of vodka every time a heat player flops.

I think the spurs have this if they avoid turnovers.

You'd be pretty drunk by the end of the game. I think is a good series overall, two good teams, but two I hate. I think both the Heat and the Spurs have a good chance of winning the series. I feel like the Spurs have to win Game 5 though or the series is going to be all but over.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Turned it on: "Wow, close game!"

5 minutes later

"Well, I guess I know who's winning now."

I think the Spurs had to win that one with the next two in Miami. I see this series going seven.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Coach Pop made a great move inserting Manu into the starting lineup. Good to see him have a good night in the most important game of the series.

Danny Green for Finals MVP.
