RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I think the Celtics vs Knicks series could be quite competative.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

J.R. Smith wins 6th Man. Not like there were any questions he wouldn't.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Tonight's Matchups:
Chicago-Brooklyn 0-1
Memphis-LA Clippers 0-1

The same teams that won game one will win game two. I expect Chicago to actually put up a fight this time. If there's any game that has a chance of being different from Game One, it's LAC-MEM. Memphis might be able to figure it out tonight.

And J.R. Smith as 6th man. Predicted.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Cliff Paul with the game winner! Amazing!

2-0 lead as Clips head to The Grind House.

2013 playoffs: where point guard buzzer beaters happen.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Paul's shot with 0.01 seconds left was the definition of clutch. Huge win for the Clippers going up 2-0 on Memphis.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I fell asleep with two minutes left, I now hate myself for doing that.

Tonight's Matchups:
Milwaukee @ Miami 0-1
Boston @ New York 0-1
Golden State @ Denver 0-1

I don't expect anything different from the Milwaukee-Miami game, Miami should win by quite a bit. Boston should put up a fight tonight in New York, unlike in Game 1, if any road team has a chance tonight, it's Boston. I see Denver cruising passed Golden State tonight, taking all of the momentum off of the last game, and with David Lee out for the playoffs, it's now really hard for Golden State to win.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Mark Jackson is already taking an underdog Warriors team whose players have little playoff experience into Denver, but now with the loss of David Lee, it's making my Nuggets in 6 prediction look more generous toward the Warriors.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The playoffs just show how badly the Celtics miss Rondo. Celtics need to generate offense during the second half. Starting now.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The Warriors are doing well right now, leading double digits against Nuggets

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

People seemed to think that the lack of Lee would make this matchup harder, but they overlooked the fact the Warriors have some of the best shooters in the world. Over 60% in field goals and almost 60% with three pointers. Let's just see if they can maintain that while still limiting the Nuggets.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

They forgot about Bogut too.

Just as when you think Denver is going to catch up, Klay and Steph hits back to back threes lol

Law of averages...

The problem with Lee out is they have no rebounding presence now. Bogut can't crash the boards like he used to, Landry never could, and they will be hard-pressed to out-rebound a team like the Nuggets consistently. That's a major disadvantage.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Having said that, the Warriors are still a talented team and Mark Jackson has proven to be a damn good coach. Anything can happen in the NBA playoffs. Except the Bucks beating the Cheat

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I really thought Boston would at least make it a series with their decent defense, but it looks like the Knicks train just keeps ramming them in. The Grizzlies have to feel completely demoralized after that loss yesterday. I wonder if they'll be able to come back and compose themselves to make it a series still because the Clips will just run over them if they don't.

I'm glad to see the Bulls and Warriors didn't just lie down and submit to the Nets and the Nuggets although. The Bulls were actually playing pretty good basketball this whole year without Derrick Rose and I'm glad to see them giving themselves a chance. The Warriors have Steph Curry and that's pretty much all you need haha.

dmaster out.

How 'bout them spurrs, being up 2-0 on the Lakers? I understand the Lakers are without Kobe and whatnot, but the Spurs are still looking pretty strong.
