This is what they should do:

A tournament of 16 trainers. You win and you advance to the group of 8, then the semifinals and then the finals. And you would battle a different person each time you did it.

Then, if you complete that:
Elite 4 #1: Single battle.
#2: Double Battle.
#3 Triple Battle.
#4 Rotation Battle.

Champion: Single battle.

+ 1,000,000. I love it. And maybe the tournament would result in meeting Belle in the semi-finals, and Cheren in the final!

O_O They should DEFINITELY do that! Always fighting your rival at the end(Gary in R/B/Y/G/FR/LG) or at the beginning gets annoying. An anime style League would be awesome! Especially with that! I'm becoming more and more excited!

ontopic: I wish the animation after the elite4 would change after the first time you battle it, in other games, they treat every single victory like it's the first one!

kinda already said that except only 10 trainers. itd take forever to do 16+8+5 battles thats 29 battles in a row.

^ Anime style E4 takes care of that. You rest(a day) between every League Match.

Do you think the champion will be change from time to time? One day it's the first champion, then it could be belle, then N, and so on...

^Lol maybe you'll actually become champion, and you can be called up for a match. And if you decline, You have to escalate back up the top to be recrowned Champion. I was laughing at what I just said in this post at first, now it looks like a great idea. XD

i like it. you could battle new trainers all the time. also the dialouge should be changed each time. maybe a few different phrases after their first defeat?

And maybe you can get wifi challenges, like the Battle Tower and Room Leaders. Wow, I didn't think this topic would go far like this, I thought it would be the same idea over and over again.

cynthia must of had to go to cianawood to ease the pains of psyduck. blue had to go make sure everyone was ok and help calm the volcano. you could be called to a problem at a mountain and the disturbance could be a legend.

frostwind's idea is great, then the e4 would really be fun! anime battle tounament- e4- you champion - missions - you fail - someone else is champion - you do it all over again, but with diferent animations and dialogs.
