I don't know. I just do. If I ever try to create an archetype deck (Machamp, for example), I'll have it built and have all the sleeves...then I take a look at it and quickly dismantle it. I just don't have the will to run what is considered the best. :\

Well then good luck doing well at any major tournies.

(unless you can build a really good rogue deck, which is possible)

I've done this before...best I've done is 4th place. Stupid plox and Kingdra shut me down both times. -_-

Im guessing amphy tric (Ampharos and manectric) is going to be quite a good deck. It can shut down Dusknoir, Gengar, Heatran ... To sum up, anything with powers. And does a good job at spreading.

What about Blastcatty? I thought it was overhyped but then I started testing it and it's really good. I don't think I'll be running it though.

^i agree. blastycatty is pretty good VS. most things, (not SP decks though, i'm like 2-0 VS. it) but against other things it is pretty cool when it gets set up and attacking. and to all people who say SP's are fail. they're not. hitting for 60+poison for 1 is almost as good as kingdra, if not better (especially since it's a basic) then you get to use poketurn if they don't kill you, and you have a biul;t in unown G body! gyarados G could be fun though, it worked great at pre's :p

^^ Wait, doesn't Toxicroak G only do 40 and then 10 from poison???

If the opponent's Active is poisoned, it does 60 damage. 80 if they stay poisoned. I think SP Pokemon are drastically underrated as well. Many are quite usable, fast, and pretty neat IMO.

dmaster out.

Well I've been testing for awile and I now have my revised Tiering of the decks.
Tier 1.
1 Rampardos (T1 80 Donk)
2 Giratina (Hand Limit 0)
3 Leafeon (170 HP Tank)
4 Rhyperior (170 HP, Opponents Deck Destroying, Massive Damage Dealing)
5 Gengar (No Trainers, No Bodies, Snipes Powers)
6 Plox (No Powers)
7 Toxicroak (Donk with an auto Unown G)

Tier 2.
8 AMU (Lv.Max FTW)
9 Nape (50% T1 80 alongside massive damage late game)
10 Noir (Still consistant with less Unown G around)
11 Machamp (Donks a lot, except those pesky Toxicroak)
12 Gigas (Still Good but Rampy limits the usefulness)
13 Torterra (Tough to get out, but beast late game)
14 Magmortar (100 Snipe and healing)
15 Slaking (150 damage, 150 HP)
16 BlazeRan (Consistant Burn and 100)
17 Trip Wire (Hopeful T1 Donk of 80)
18 Zone (80 and Paralyze)
19 Drapion (Decent hitter and staller)

Random Decks to look out for:
Empo
Dustox
Beautifly
Blissey
T2K2
Obama
Blast Catty

^Call me a n00b, but how does Gengar lock Trainers? I'd think it would encourage them to play them. Either way, I'm playing it. Must... get... Dialga... G... LV. ... X....

Lol, I forgot Kingdra... Well I'll go toss that in Tier 1. As for the Gengar Trainer Lock. Memory Berry can be great for locking Trainers in a pinch. I really have to say that Gengar has been looking good this format, especially with Crobat G to help with the 1HKO on Uxie.

Ninja'd

Wow. That's interesting. G&G has been well-tested by me, but honestly it's too slow. The 1st 3 manual energy as your opponent's Rampardos grabs 3 prizes. At least Glaceon locks Gengar and Dusknoir even if Dialga G LV. X is a new threat. At least it gets the energy acceleration of Leafeon and other Eeveelutions at techs, though.

EDIT:
1. DOUBLE NINJA!!!
2. Yeah, especially with the way I play Gengar, you KO something every turn. There's no way to get around it. Add Fainting Spell and the overall speed, and you have an almost unstoppable deck.

To be honest, I thought I was going to be ninja'd.

Anyway, I might eventually get to testing Blazetran, and see if it is Tier 2.

Blaze is too slow and has bad starts. That is why I placed it so low. Otherwise I would have probably placed it higher. Also Heatran isn't looked upon highly, as my League leader says:

"What is the only use for Heatran?"
I dunno...
Turn one Felicity's.

That was an epic double Ninja. Best I've ever been part of.

As for Plox. You just T1 Mesprit and then T2 use Weavile/Kiss/Pickup/anything else you can think of, to get the Plox rolling. After that you can keep it going with the new Gardy. As for Rampy. After Gallade tosses back 1-2 of them the deck falls apart.

Plox w/ Weavile is too cool not to played. When you get your 2 techs out (Palkia and Dusknoir), and have Gardevoir, Moonlight and Weavile out, you have an almost complete control of the game, leaving only their Poke-Body's and Attacks usable. You PLOX for 80 instead of 50 (DRE GOOOO!), Gallade can sweep at random points in the game, Dusknoir keeps them at 3, and with Palkia means you can get anything out (Claydol) and PLOX it, while shuffling in Dusknoir.

IMO a very strong choice. Plus with Telepass it isn't hard to get those techs out

Great job on the Tier list DOX. Thank you for putting Magmortar where it is. It has been underrated by many.
