Anyone else remember those old Pokemon sticker card things, the square ones that had a picture of a Pokemon (along with its name and number) on the front and other info (like type, measurements, evolutions) on the greyscale back side? Anyway, I decided to try to make some blanks for those, in case anyone would be interested in making custom ones. The textures aren't identical to those on the official stickers, but I tried to make them at least somewhat similar. Feel free to make your own textures. Click the pic below to download the ZIP file.
This ZIP folder includes...
*Example front
*Example back
*Blank front
*Blank back
*Bug-type blank
*Dragon-type blank
*Electric-type blank
*Fighting-type blank
*Fire-type blank
*Ghost-type blank
*Grass-type blank
*Ground-type blank
*Ice-type blank
*Normal-type blank
*Poison-type blank
*Psychic-type blank
*Rock-type blank
*Water-type blank
*Foil
(Since there are no pure-flying types, I didn't bother making any Flying-type blanks. Also, Dark and Steel blanks aren't included because they weren't released until after these stickers were made.)
@pokemaister: I think I remember seeing the fonts not being on Megaupload somewhere. I gotta go check again. Also, to get Prime blanks, go to CG's (cascadegonpory's) DA Scrapbook.
Not only do I remember those stickers from years past, but I also remember the hologram cards (the square ones that, if tilted, the image would change). Anyway, since I made templates for the stickers, I figured I could make some for these hologram cards as well. Click the following image to save the ZIP file. Like the previous set, this folder includes all of the first generation types (except Flying-type, which you will use the Pokemon's other type in place of). It also includes a blank template so you can create your own background or you can use it to cover up, let's say, a foot that is overlapping the Poke Ball or nameplate. Examples are also in this package.
How do you make them look like the example above? Simple! After you have filled out cards for the Pokemon and its evolution, select the card featuring the final evolution of the Pokemon and increase the image's brightness by 20 and decrease the contrast by 40. After that, erase every other row (some programs, such as GIMP, have this effect available). Copy and paste the new image onto the Pokemon's pre-evolved form. If you want the evolution to be more visible than the pre-evolved Pokemon, simply apply the brightness/contrast settings to it instead. After this is done, just copy and paste evolution_border.png onto the result (this will get rid of the extra lines that trail off the card).
RE: Fake Card Resources and Help (Ask questions, post blanks, etc.)
Everyone who is having the hostvoice redirection. Please try http://album.xipog.pisz.pl/index.php?twg_album=BLANKS <- that link.
It currently, has all the official type blanks available I think. Including the ones on the sites that were there on the sites which get re-directed to hostvoice.com now.
