Pikachu's level

Ash just uses Pikachu because he is the star of the show and has to be used more than the rest of his Pokemon.:)

but he shouldn't be though! he beat the orange islands, placed high in the indigo plateu, (this is where im not sure) beat all of the frontier brains, the hoenn and johto gym leaders, and i think he either won or placed high in those championships. He's a well known Pokémon trainer in some places he shouldn't be dumb!!!!!
 
In today's episode where Ash had to find Brock he used his evolved starley. (Iforget the name because it is a new Pokemon) and it did not find brock right away. I think it is because Ash's new Va does not do like Veronica taylor did with AshThe new Va needs to work on that so Ash can do better with his Pokemon. When the new Va started Ash did weel at the start but the Va needs help with how to use the Pokemon in the show.:)
 
Maybe at the end of each region Pikachu's level resets. Remember Pikachu has been through 4 regions and gone through so many leagues, but lost to like a lvl 10 Elekid or something. It's not right.

And if Pikachu's lvl did not reset it would be like a lvl 100 EV trained Groudon losing to a lvl 16 Poliwag
 
not really it mentions charzard level in the charasific valley ( doubt I spelled that right ) it says that Charzard was level 56 or something around there so I doubt they would drop it level.
 
Yeh but he dosen't take Charizard everywhere.
Whereas Pikachu's never left Ash's side (and Pikachu keeps the same moves to, even though that dosen't makes sense but as Pokemonwebsurfer said things work differently in the game than anime)
 
it would get boring if ash wiped the floor with everyone at the begginning of a series, also why doesn't he win one of the leagues if his Pikachu is so high level and if he has won the battle frontier.

Pikachu OHKO the Mauville Gym's Pokemon because he was supper charged with extra electricity from the robotic Raikou remember? I bet when Pikachu was a pichu if he ever was learn volt tackle forgot it and then relearned it after using a supper fast quick attack with thunderbolt.
 
Maybe each gym is like the D/P Battle Tower, setting Pikachu's level to a specific amount and not giving any EXP. :p
On a side note, the Anime is nothing like the game. For example, Lance's Dragonite knows atleast SEVEN moves. Just watch the episodes at the end of the Orange Islands.
 
Well most pokemon do have about 7 moves in the anime. but if it is like the battle tower then that Dragonite would always be level 50 and ash's pikachu has always been lv. 50
 
Most OHKO's must be the results of hackers in the anime, then. :D There are so many hacks in the Battle Tower.
 
Pikachu right now should be completely steroidic. He's been with Ash for like 5 years! He should be PWNing by now... and he STILL loses to Elekid.:(
