RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!

Yeah sweet its finally comin' to a close let us proceed to the Final Battle!!!

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!!!

Oh boy, I knew no one saw it. I told you guys there was something missing, and it was that no new LPC member was introduced in the chapter featuring Giratina and Regigigas. Regigigas was the first Normal-Type Legendary, so I should've introduced a new LPC, but I had to save it, and technically, I did, since Max is the son of Grant, he therefore is the LPC's Nuber One, or 1.5, to be precise :p.

Anyways, Rich and J.C. are not new characters, in fact, they are characters I've had for the past ten years. They played a major part in Max's life, since they were his best friends when he first started. And as for them saving Max, let's just say Rich was returning a favor.

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!!!

Wow. Grant being the LPC's number one? I did expect it to be a super strong guy, but NOT grant! Anyway, what do you mean by 1.5? *Suspiciously stares*

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!

Grant? No way!

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!

I KNEW IT!
Hahaha,Grant! Is the LPC's Number ONE!

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!!!

Well, it's like Max is the next "version". Grant is the LPC's Number One, ergo Max is like one point five, if you don't get it then you won't get it...hard to explain.

Max Shade IV said:
Max started his journey with his friends, Rich and J.C. Spade, brothers. Max chose Charmander, Rich chose Squirtle, and J.C. chose Bulbasaur. After many months of training and battling for badges, the trio made their way to the Indigo Plateau. In an epic battle of Max versus Rich, it came down to Max’s Charmeleon and Rich’s Wartortle.
Charmeleon used Fire Blast, and Wartortle used Hydro Pump. The attacks were equally matched, and hit dead center, and wouldn’t budge. Trying to show their loyalty to their trainers, the two Pokémon upped the power, and upped it so high, they simultaneously evolved. While Charizard was at the disadvantage type-wise, his new wings gave him an aerial advantage. After a newly learned Blast Burn, Max won his first league victory.
Max went on to Orange Islands and Johto with the same results.
But Hoenn was a different story. Shortly after arriving, Max lost all his Pokémon to Team Supreme, the alliance of Rocket, Aqua, and Magma. In his final match of the Hoenn League against Rich, it was down, once again, to Charizard and Blastoise. The rematch of Kanto. But, in the middle of the match, Supreme’s blimp flew overhead. Max hopped on Charizard, determined to retrieve his many friends lost. He blew the blimp up, barley making it out alive with his Pokémon. And then, the truth began its painful journey.

on a different note, its weird that rich and J.C. weren't part of the PMC, when apparently they're so strong.

i wasn't saying they were new characters, only that they were new to this particular story. just curious why they weren't included with the PMC(even if they weren't strong enough, though im sure they are judging by the history, certainly max would have enough authority to accept them into the clan. besides, abad and james just gave him full leadership, didn't they?). hmm....

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!!!

Well, Rich and J.C. weren't part of the PMC because they kinda went into retirement, and Max didn't. But, then again, when the world needs them (and when i say "world", i mean "Max") they useually show up to save "the world's" butt.

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! ANNOUNCEMENT IN FIRST POST! LAST TWO CHAPTERS ON THEIR WAY!!!!

Thank you!:D I really don't like to tute my own horn, but when it comes to FanFics, I have the best grasp of them out of anyone on PokeBeach. My first FanFic died, but that was because I was on a different forum for a while. So, when I returned to PokéBeach Forums, I noticed the HORENDOUS amount of "FanFics" that had three line chapters and died after five or six chapters, which you could read the whole thing in, oh, I don't know, a minute?

Key to a good FanFic is planning. People say how they want to "test their ideas" but what they need to realize is that their ideas aren't bad, but they need to be more constructed. For this FanFic alone, I have a dozen or so Word and Excel documents planning the whole thing out. Even now in the last chapters, I am planning things out before I write it.

And as for my next FanFic, which I have decided to name: Pokémon Nightshade: Birth of a Master, I have tons of ideas on Word and Excel documents. Also, check my sig for the little advertisement:p

Chapter 29: The Final Showdown!

“So, cousin, you’ve decided finally to join us?” asked Whiro.
“Cousin?” asked Max.
“Max,” said Grant, “We are the LPC’s family.”
“G-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH????”
“I know…and no Whiro, I’m not here to join you but to do what my father should’ve done when your uncle put this crazy idea into your head! Arceus, Seismic Toss!”
Grant jumped off the Pokémon and Arceus flung Whiro’s Salamence into the air.
“Dad,” said Max, “Now would be a really good time to explain.”
“Okay son,” said Grant, “Each of our family members has a close bond with the legendary Pokémon. Though I know you have a close bond to Ho-oh, remember how you controlled Regigigas? You and I have a strong bond with the Normal-Typed legendaries, Regigigas and Arceus. It was our family’s destiny to take them over and use them to rule the world.”
“And why are you fighting it?”
“Sometimes, you have to choose your own destiny, Max. The world can throw destiny at you, but only you can decide if you are going to listen to it. So, son, what do you say we make this ‘family reunion’ one to remember?”
“Let’s do this.”
“Cousin,” said Whiro, “Behold the TRUE power of Arceus!”
Whiro held up a stone tablet.
“The Draco Plate!” exclaimed Shadow.
“Yes!” said Whiro, “Let’s see how well the Normal-Type trainer can control a Dragon-Type!”
Suddenly, Arceus’ colors altered, and Whiro exclaimed, “Draco Meteor!”
Tons of meteors rained down and began hitting the gang’s Pokémon.
“Let’s get outta here!” yelled Grant, “Lizardon!”
The gang hopped onto their flying Pokémon and they dove off of Mount Coronet.

“Okay,” said Max, “There’s ten of us, sixteen of them.”
“We’ve gotta take them out one by one,” said Jay.
“Alright,” said Grant, “If I know my cousin, he’s going to start by taking over the major cities here. And as long as Arceus is in an altered type, then I have no control over him. Everyone fan out amongst the cities and take them out. Max, come back to the headquarters with me.”

In Sandgem Town…
“Go my Bug Pokémon!” yelled Locus.
Beedrill, Dustox, and Ninjask along with an array of other Bug-Types began attacking the town.
“Ah,” said Locus, “Professor Rowan’s lab…Go Drapion! Let’s use X-Scissor!”
Suddenly, he was sideswiped by a Pidgeot using Steel Wing!
“What?” exclaimed Locus.
“Alright!” said Jason, who had just flown in.
“You!”
“Wow, way to state the obvious. Pidgeot, use Air Slash!”
“Use Dark Pulse!”
Pidgeot swiftly evaded the attack and used his wings to nail Drapion in the side.
“Hyper Beam!” yelled Locus.
“Mirror Move!” yelled Jason.
Pidgeot was about to counter, when a Ninjask swiped it with Fury Cutter!
“Lucario, go!” yelled Jason.
His Lucario came to aid his partner, and right away got into the fray.
“Use Aura Sphere!” yelled Jason. The energy ball nailed the Ninjask, but then Drapion went after Lucario when Locus yelled, “Earthquake!”
“Not so fast!” yelled Jason, “Mirror Move!”
Pidgeot countered Drapion and hit him with Earthquake.
“Locus, just give it up!” yelled Jason.
“No!” Locus argued, “I am going to prove myself to my family!”
“By terrorizing people? That doesn’t impress anyone!”
“Don’t play reverse psychology on me! Use Cross Poison!”
Drapion lunged at Pidgeot, and then Lucario lunged at Drapion to take the hit, since his Steel-Type gave him immunity to Poison-Type moves.
“Use Fury Cutter, both of you!” yelled Locus.
The two Pokémon began using the Bug-Type move on both of Jason’s Pokémon. At first, the hits were light. But they began getting more and more powerful. Lucario was breathing heavily and Pidgeot was residing on the ground.
“Now, witness the power of Bug-Pokémon!” yelled Locus, “Bug Buzz and X-Scissor!”
They went for the kill, and then suddenly the male Heatran came roaring in!
He gave Jason a look that told him he was hear to help!
“Alright Heatran!” yelled Jason, “Show him who’s the boss with Iron Head!”
The legendary Pokémon charged Drapion and hit him hard.
“Now use Lava Plume!” yelled Jason.
Heatran spewed hot flames from his mouth that instantly KOed Ninjask.
“Now let’s finish this!” yelled Jason, “Magma Storm!”
Huge chunks of magma and fire rained down and decimated all of Locus’s Pokémon who were terrorizing the town.
“Now is the part,” said Jason, “When you leave.”

In Oreburgh City…
Clay and Demeter had arrived, and they were invading the mine tunnels, where the works had powerful Rock- and Ground-Type Pokémon helping them.
With a Rampardos and Flygon, Clay threatened the workers, “Give us your Pokémon and we’ll go easy on you!”
“Wanna bet?” yelled a voice from behind. Suddenly, their Pokémon were blasted with Surf!
“It’s the PMC’s tech nerd!” yelled Demeter.
“Oh no you didn’t!” yelled Ricky. His Feraligatr whipped off his sunglasses, angered by the insult to his trainer.
“Use Thunder,” said Clay to his Rampardos with complete confidence.
“Water gun the ceiling!” yelled Ricky.
The attack was just enough to divert the Electric attack away from Feraligatr.
“Best you got?” asked Ricky.
“Use Dragonbreath!” yelled Demeter.
Flygon hit Feraligatr hard. And, on top of that, it paralyzed him!
“Feraligatr use Metronome, quick!” yelled Ricky.
Feraligatr used a move that he normally couldn’t: Trick Room!
Suddenly, Rampardos and Flygon were much slower, and Feraligatr felt faster than a Ninjask!
“Ha!” yelled Ricky with satisfaction, “Now use Ice Punch!”
Feraligatr charged Flygon and hit him where it hurt, then Ricky yelled, “Aqua Tail!”
Feraligatr slammed a watery tail into Rampardos, but his opponents weren’t down quite yet.
Then, Rampardos charged Feraligatr. Feraligatr’s paralysis was too much to handle and he couldn’t move, and with a powerful Head Smash, Rampardos knocked Feraligatr to the ground.
“Yes!” yelled Clay in victory.
But then, a wind from the north blew, and lava began seeping out of crevices in the mine. On top of that, a thick layer of thunder clouds rolled in out of nowhere!
As Raikou, Entei, and Suicune bolted in, Ricky’s face grew and enormous grin, as he yelled, “Thunder, Hydro Pump, and Fire Blast!”
The three attacks of the legendary trio devastated both the LPC’s Pokémon and the trainers themselves, and Ricky said, “You guys are finished.”

At Snowpoint City, Bolt, Shiver, Cinder, and Aqua had come in to terrorize and take over.
With a Raichu, Walrein, Typhlosion, and Swampert, they had basically taken over. They had already taken over the port there, and were planning on heading to the island in the northeast to create a base there.
They were on the large ship, and Aqua was driving it straight towards the island. Suddenly, they felt massive shakes in the boat!
“Find out what’s going on you two, NOW!” Cinder yelled at Bolt and Shiver.
With their Pokémon, they began searching the ship. As they walked around a corner they were nailed in the face by Hydro Pump!
“Take ‘em out,” said Jay.
“My pleasure!” replied Shadow, “Salamence, use Dragon Claw!”
Her Salamence tore through the air and KOed Bolt and Shiver’s Pokémon.
But, then there was a Flamethrower and Ice Beam shot from behind! The duo turned around to see Aqua and Cinder with their Swampert and Typhlosion.
“Altaria!” yelled Jay.
“Jolteon!” yelled Shadow.
“GO!” they yelled together.
“Reminds of the Tournament,” said Jay, “Just like the final round. Four-on-four.”
“Then this should be cake,” said Shadow, “…Now is a good time.”
“Metronome!” they yelled together.
Jolteon gave a Mud Shot to Raichu, and Salamence used Blast Burn on Walrein. Starmie devastated Swampert with Razor Leaf and Altaria used Aqua Tail on Typhlosion.
“Volt Tackle!” yelled Bolt.
“Aurora Beam!” yelled Shiver.
“Hydro Pump!” yelled Aqua.
“Flame Wheel!” yelled Cinder.
The four attacks hit Jay and Shadow’s Pokémon, and they were now very tired. Then, the LPC’s Pokémon suddenly got shot into the air!
Shadow noticed right away, and then before there eyes, Latias and Latios appeared!
Latias used a Psychic on Bolt and Shiver’s Pokémon and Latios got Aqua and Cinder’s Pokémon with Draco Meteor.
“MOVE!” yelled Cinder as she shoved her relatives out of the way, “Go Dark Balls!”
Dark Balls were an amazing and deadly type of PokéBall. Originally, they were used by Mewtwo for his clone Pokémon, but since, evils syndicates had obtained the technology.
The Dark Balls flew at the legendary duo, and captured them! As the PokéBalls flew towards Cinder, the new owner, they suddenly stopped in midair!
Suddenly, Bolt fell to the ground having some kind of nightmare while he was awake!
“Cinder!” yelled Aqua. Aqua pointed at the levitating PokéBalls and they were crushed into nothing as Latias and Latios were freed.
Mesprit, Uxie and Azelf came flying in and Darkrai came out of Bolt’s mind.
“Dark Void!” yelled Jay.
Darkrai sent the LPC members into a deep sleep.
“Dream Eater!” yelled Shadow.
The five remaining Psychic-Type legendaries gave them the worst nightmares imaginable.

At the PMC base…
“Alright,” said Grant, “The legendaries have been released to help.”
“Yeah,” said Max. He turned to Lindsey, who was holding Phione and Manaphy.
“You take care, alright?” he said to her.
She wrapped her arms around him as tightly as she could, and Max said, “Don’t worry…I will come back.”
She let go of him, and Max threw a PokéBall into the air and called out, “Charizard!”
Grant did the same with Lizardon.
Furret popped out, and gave Lindsey’s face a lick, and then hopped onto Max’s shoulder.
“When this is over,” said Max, “We need to talk.”
Max kicked Charizard in the side to indicate liftoff. With Grant and Lizardon close behind, Max headed towards Hearthome City, where explosions could be seen even from Veilstone.

Harpie and Psych had gone to Jubilife City, largely known for its television station and the home of tons of trainer gear companies.
But now, Pokémon were flying all over wreaking havoc while Psychic-Types were causing all kinds of things in the city to malfunction.
“Well cousin,” said Harpie, “Looks like things are finally going our way!”
“Finally!” yelled Psych with happiness, “Success!”
Then, two huge Hyper Beams blasted the pavement in front of them!
“James!” exclaimed Psych.
“Well,” said James, “It DOES say that on my birth certificate!”
“Enough!” yelled Harpie, staring at his Tyranitar and Garchomp, “Go Togekiss!”
“Let’s go Bronzong!” yelled Psych.
“Hit Bronzong with Fire Fang, Garchomp!” yelled James.
Garchomp dealt major damage to the Steel-Type Pokémon, but Psych called out, “Payback!”
With an intense blow, Garchomp was sent flying backwards.
Tyranitar immediately stepped in, and began using Hyper Beam, trying to knock Togekiss out of the air. But, Bronzong hit Tyranitar with Flash Cannon, which not only landed a super effective hit, but lowered Tyranitar’s attack power!
“Togekiss,” said Harpie, “Use Aura Sphere!”
“Use Psychic!” ordered Psych.
Garchomp and Tyranitar looked like goners, but, out of nowhere, Cresselia and Shaymin came rushing in and took the hits!
“No!” yelled Harpie.
“That’s the least of our problem!” yelled Psych, “Look!”
As his cousin looked up, three very powerful, begrudging Ice-, Electric-, and Fire-Type Pokémon were flying in.
“Do you think they’re still mad at me?” asked Harpie.
“Hm…” said Psych, “DUH!!!!”
“Now!” said James, “Psychic, Seed Flare, Blizzard, Thunder, and Heat Wave!”
The five legendary Pokémon unleashed an array of powerful and deadly moves, sending the LPC members and their Pokémon flying to the horizon.
“Greetz!” James yelled to them.

Thorn and Spike had invaded Sunyshore City. They had made there way to the plant that supplied both the city itself and other surrounding cities with all their power.
“Just get your bulky Pokémon to wreak this place already!” yelled Thorn.
“Yeah yeah!” yelled Spike, “Steelix, Bastiodon, go!”
The huge Steel-Types began smashing consoles and electric sparks began flying. Over half the power that the plant provided was cut.
“This is brilliant!” yelled Thorn in satisfaction.
Then, Steelix and Bastiodon began floating in the air, and were blasted by two Aura Spheres!
“It’s the PMC’s leader!” yelled Spike.
“Wow,” said Abad, “Could you be any denser? I mean c’mon!”
“Go, Tangrowth and Torterra!” yelled Thorn.
“Mew, Alakazam, ready?”
His Psychic-Type Pokémon nodded in agreement.
“Good. Another Aura Sphere, Mew. Alakazam, use Ice Punch!”
Mew sent out a fury of Aura Spheres on the Steel-Types, and Alakazam went back and forth with an icy fist on the Grass-Types.
“Give up yet?” Abad asked.
“Never!” yelled Thorn, “Tangrowth, use Power Whip, Torterra, use Leaf Storm!”
The attacks hit the two Pokémon hard, but not hard enough!”
“Psychic!” yelled Abad.
His Pokémon both used Psychic, but Spike had a move up his sleeve.
“Bastiodon, use Protect!” he called out.
His large Pokémon guarded his cousin’s Pokémon.
“Now Steelix,” said Spike, “Use Crunch!”
Steelix lunged at Alakazam, and Abad yelled, “Focus Punch!”
Mew lunged at Steelix to protect Alakazam, and hit him hard.
“Seed Bomb!” ordered Thorn. The Grass-Type move from Torterra hit both of Abad’s Pokémon hard.
“Now,” said Spike, “Iron Tail and Metal Burst!”
“Double SolarBeam!” yelled Thorn.
The four attacks hit hard, and even Mew fainted!
“Give up yet?” Spike said, mocking Abad.
“You know,” said Abad, “I never come in without a plan “B”.”
“What are you talking about?” Thorn said.
“Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Rekkuza, Giratina, let’s go!”
Two Hyper Beams from the brothers Rayquaza blasted a hole in the roof. When Thorn, Spike, and their Pokémon looked up, they saw both Rayquaza, along with Groudon and Giratina. They looked out the window to the waters, and saw Kyogre charging up a Water Spout.
“Something tells me this won’t end good…” said Spike.
“Finally!” yelled Abad.
“What?” asked Spike.
“I’ve waited twenty-seven-and-a-half chapters for you to get SOMETHING right! Eruption, Water Spout, Shadow Force and double Draco Meteor!”
Well, needless to say, Abad wasn’t all that interested in preserving the plant; just revenge.
The plant was blown to smithereens, and Abad stood in the center of the former power plant, watching the LPC members go flying into the water.
“Justice is getting served…” he said as he looked towards Hearthome, “C’mon Max…Finish this.”

Venom and Demeter had been in Canalave, preparing commandeered ships to set off with stolen Pokémon from the residents.
Venom’s Toxicroak and Demeter’s Mamoswine were forcing residents to give up their Pokémon. But, with a powerful Hydro Cannon and Frenzy Plant, they were stopped dead in their tracks!
“Who are these creeps?” asked Venom, staring at Rich and J.C. with their Blastoise and Venusaur.
“I dunno,” said Demeter, “They aren’t with the PMC, so their Pokémon can’t be THAT powerful.”
“Oh no,” said J.C. Rich was becoming red in the face.
“I bet that those two attacks were all they had!” yelled Venom.
“You insulted a Spade,” said J.C., “You will regret that…”
“BLASTOISE! PIKACHU!” yelled Rich, “THUNDER CANNON!”
Rich’s Pikachu hopped into one of Blastoise’s water cannons, and then Blastoise closed his second one.
“FIRE!”
Blastoise lowered his one shoulder, and blasted Pikachu out with Hydro Cannon.
As the water and Pikachu went flying at the LPC and their Pokémon, Pikachu used his electricity to put more than ten thousand amps of power into it.
“Uh-oh,” said Demeter.
They were blasted into the water. The LPC members climbed out, and attempted to get onto Demeter’s Flygon, but Flygon couldn’t fly! They looked to see J.C.’s Hypno using Disable on him.
They tried to run, but Lugia, Regice, Regirock, Registeel, and a whole hoard of Unown surrounded them. They made a hole as rich and J.C. walked up to them.
“Don’t ever call me weak,” said Rich, “John, let’s get moving to Hearthome.”

Grant flew on Lizardon next to his son, Max, who was flying on Lizardon’s son, Charizard. Between them flew Celebi, Mewtwo and Mew. To the right of Max was the Pokémon he considered his guardian, Ho-oh. To Grant’s left was the keeper of space, Palkia.
Below them, Dialga ran across the land with Regigigas on his back.
“Dad,” said Max, “Why have you been gone?”
“Son,” said Grant, “Have you heard of the Pokémon Master?”
“Dad, I run them.”
“No, THE Pokémon Master.”
“Dad, we all know there is know one trainer better than another.”
“Son, everyone aspires to become what they believe is a “Pokémon Master”. What they don’t know is they can’t be. See, when my father married my mother, their families both had a destiny. My mother had broken away from her family, better know as the LPC. But your grandfather…Max Shade III, was the Pokémon Master. The Pokémon Master is sent to another time when Celebi calls for him to protect something or someone.
“Max, I lucked out. Sometimes, I was called the present, to protect you. Notice I’ve always been here when you really needed me? Son, this is my last mission…and in four months, your reign as Master begins…normally, the reign is fifteen years…Son, it’s your time.”
“Why?”
“I’ve seen the future, and if you love Lindsey, you will do this. Not for me, not for our ancestors, not for Celebi, and not for anyone else. Just Lindsey. Son, I know I’m the last person to trust after the life you had to live without me, but I’m asking you to take my word, that this is for the better.”
They reached Hearthome.
“We’ll talk later,” said Max.
“Agreed,” said Grant.
Calypso, Coffin, and Whiro were controlling Arceus, and quite well at that. Using Arceus’ signature move, Judgment, they were wreaking havoc like the world had never before seen.
Max landed, and called out, “Aggron, Feraligatr, Sceptile, Nidoking, Furret, GO!”
The legendaries were about to come to his assistance, but Max held up his hand.
“I have faith in my Pokémon,” he said to them, “This is my battle.”
“Well well well…” said Whiro, “Looks like you’ve come back for another beating?”
“Shut your old mouth! Sceptile, use Bullet Seed!”
Sceptile bombarded Arceus with his attack, but it barely phased him.
“Metal Burst!” Max cried out to Aggron.
The attack did nothing.
“Hydro Pump!” Max ordered his Feraligatr.
Nothing.
“Poison Jab!” Max called out to Nidoking. Nidoking knew his power wasn’t good enough. But he charged the legendary of legendaries, and with his fist beginning to secrete poison, he punched Arceus.
But it was useless. Arceus threw him into the air with Seismic Toss, and Nidoking landed in the pavement, creating a huge crater.
“Nidoking!” Max cried.
Nidoking was clearly injured. He had been thrown at least a mile up. But, Nidoking, as always, refused to give up. He struggled to his feet, and let out a roar that would intimidate any Pokémon…except Arceus.
“I admire your Pokémon’s will,” said Whiro, “It’s a shame I’ll have to get rid of him! Arceus, use Earth Power!”
The earth below Nidoking shot up high into the air, pulverizing him.
“Nidoking, return!” Max yelled as he quickly brought out Nidoking’s PokéBall. Nidoking refused to go in. He got himself up. Nidoking’s thick hide of his back had been cut open, and was dripping with blood.
“Arceus,” said Whiro, “Use Judgment.”
Arceus was about to lay the final blow, when Sceptile lunged in front of Nidoking, taking the hit!
“Sceptile!” yelled Max.
Sceptile was down, and looked at Nidoking. Nidoking helped him up, and the rest of Max’s Pokémon joined alongside them.
“Cute,” said Coffin, “His Pokémon are playing on a team…shame it won’t be enough.”
“No,” said Max, “You are wrong.”
“Really?” asked Calypso, “Arceus, take the Dread Plate!”
She held a black stone tablet in the air, and Arceus turned into a Dark-Type. Then, Calypso yelled, “Dark Judgment!”
Max’s Pokémon didn’t stand a chance. The blast created a huge flash of light, and Max knew what to expect when the flash was over…or so he thought.
All his Pokémon were down, even Nidoking, except for Charizard.
“Charizard?” asked Max. Charizard was breathing heavily, and was in much pain, but something kept him going with more determination than Max had ever seen out of his Pokémon.
Charizard flapped his wings and Max hopped on. Whiro got onto Arceus and followed them.
Charizard was launching Flamethrowers nonstop, and Arceus dodged or countered each one.
They were flying outside the city. The PMC, Rich, and J.C. had regrouped and saw them. Immediately, Jay and Shadow were about to help, but Rich grabbed their hands.
“I’ve known Max longer than anyone…” said Rich, “He doesn’t want help unless he’s dead.”
The battle raged over Veilstone, and Lindsey saw the battle taking place.
An Ice Beam from Arceus nicked Charizard’s wing, and Charizard struggled to stay airborne. Upon closer examination, Lindsey realized Max was riding Charizard. She began crying, fearing for both Charizard and Max’s lives.
“This ends today!” yelled Whiro.
“Not if I have anything to say!” Max cried.
“Then that just means we’ll have to send you to the depths, won’t it?”
Max looked down, and realized they were above open water.
“You are sick Whiro!” yelled Max.
“I am fulfilling my destiny!” he cried, “Arceus, Judgment!”
The attack nailed Max and Charizard unconscious. They began falling towards the water.
Max regained enough consciousness to see blurry figures flying out as fast as they could, yelling, “Max!”
Then, he heard Lindsey in his head, crying and screaming for him. The water was coming closer. Max realized it was Manaphy’s Heart Swap. Charizard heard it as well. Charizard’s eyes bolted open, and Max’s vision became clear.
Max wrapped his arms around his trusted friend’s neck and Charizard opened his wings and, just inches above the water, flew back into the sky!
Charizard began flying faster than Max had ever seen a Pokémon go, and then, Charizard did something not even Lizardon could…he launched an Aura Sphere at the Dark-Type Arceus.
The move hit with great power, and knocked Arceus down, and back into the Normal-Type.
Lizardon came rushing in and caught Arceus as he fell, and Max and Charizard scooped up Whiro.
Upon landing, Max grabbed Whiro by the collar and slugged him in the face, breaking his nose.
“You’ve caused the past year to be chaos for me!” yelled Max, “Get up!”
“Max,” said Grant, grabbing his son by the shoulder, “That’s enough.”
Max fell to the ground. His friends came up to him, and Rich got down and put an arm around his old friend.
“C’mon,” said Rich, “It’s over…we got the other fifteen of them locked up.”
“It’s not good enough!” Max screamed, now in tears.
“Then what is?”
“I...” said Max, “I don’t know…”
“Grant,” said Abad, “You want me to take care of Whiro? Looks like your son could use you right now…”
“Thank you, Abad,” said Grant.
“C’mon James, Jason.”
The trio left the scene with Whiro.
Shadow said, “Look, some of the legendaries haven’t come back yet…I hate leaving you guys here, but I want to make sure they are all okay…”
“Me too,” said Jay.
“Yeah,” said Ricky, “Let’s get moving…”
Then, Max’s injured Pokémon came running as fast as they could. Sceptile and Aggron helped Charizard to his feet, since his sudden adrenaline rush had ended, Charizard was more tired than any of them.
Furret and Feraligatr came to Max to try to comfort him, and Nidoking fell to the ground. Max saw this and got up. He helped Nidoking up and then began walking to the base to clean him up. His Pokémon, Rich, J.C., and Grant followed.

Approaching the base, Max saw Lindsey running out to him. Rich and Grant held Nidoking up as Max ran to her.
She kissed him lightly on the lips, seeing as how his lips were cut in several places, and then said, “Are you okay?”
“There’s something I’ve got to tell you, but first, I need to make sure my Pokémon are all okay…they were willing to give their lives for me today.”
“I understand,” said Lindsey. She picked up Furret and then Feraligatr came up to her.
“How are you feeling little guy?” she asked him…to her, he was still her little Totodile.

The next day, Max and Lindsey flew out to Lilycove City on Lizardon. Charizard was still recovering.
Max explained his situation to Lindsey…she looked at him, and said, “What’s that mean for us?”
“That’s your choice,” said Max, “It’s not right of me to ask you to wait for me…but then again, I don’t know the line of right and wrong very well…so…”
Max got down onto one knee. He was wearing the same tattered clothes from the day before, and Lindsey had been with him since, so when Max pulled a diamond ring out of his pocket, she was surprised he had carried it through that battle.
“Lindsey…will you marry me?” he asked her.
She looked into his eyes, and as her eyes filled with tears, she said, “Yes!”
They hugged each other, and wished that moment could never end.

The last big chapter...chapter 30 and the epilogue are on their way...comments are highly appreciated
Chapter 30: Max Says Goodbye For Now!

The whole PMC, Rich, J.C., and Grant had assembled on Acuity Lakefront. Max and Lindsey were in a tuxedo and gown, respectively.
“And now,” said Abad, “With the power invested in me by the Sinnoh Region, I pronounce you husband and wife…you may kiss the bride while I turn away.”
Max and Lindsey kissed and their friends cheered.

After the reception, Max and Lindsey flew on Charizard to Lilycove for their romantic honeymoon.
They were on the beach, and Max pulled four of his PokéBalls off his belt.
“Take them,” said Max.
“But, don’t you need them?” asked Lindsey.
“I have other Pokémon, I’ll catch other Pokémon. I’m keeping Charizard and Sceptile with me, and I chose these four for good reasons. Aggron is powerful and can protect you. Feraligatr has a close bond with us, and in a way will keep us together. Nidoking because he is a loyal friend who has never disappointed me, contrary to what he thinks, and Furret because she is just good company.”
“Thank you…when do you leave?”
“Another three months.”
“Then let’s not waste any time. I want to spend every moment between now and then as possible.
“The feeling is mutual.”
Max grabbed Lindsey by the hand and they went to their hotel room. Once there, Max put his Pokémon outside the door…the rest is self explainitory.

Epilogue

Nine months later…
James was next to Lindsey in a hospital bed, and she was squeezing his hang to the extreme.
“Just remember your breathing!” said James in pain.
“Here comes the first one!” said Shadow, Lindsey’s midwife.
Baby cries could be heard, and Shadow exclaimed, “It’s a girl!”
Lindsey screamed out in pain.
“Here’s baby number two!” said Shadow. A few seconds later, she said, “Another girl!”
Lindsey was screaming profanity at James about Max, and Shadow said, “Last one!”
And seconds later, “Another girl!” she said.
Lindsey had just given birth to the triple daughters of Max Shade IV.
“Well?” said James, “What will you name them?”
“Maddie, Hope, and Emma,” said Lindsey as James and Shadow handed her her babies.
“Beautiful names,” said Shadow.

Several years later, three men; Jon, Cody, and Wyatt came to become major powers in the world of Pokémon, and disbanded the PMC into exile. They had convinced even Lindsey that the PMC was evil. On top of it, they were attacking the NPZ, who had been at peace with them for years.
Dark times had come…and all hope had been lost.

The End…
