RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen! CHAPTER 23 POSTED!!!!! Chapter 24 underway!!!!!!!
Chapter 25: The Real Prince of the Sea!
“I thought I KILLED YOU!” yelled Aqua.
“Manaphy!” yelled Jack, “Heart Swap on Aqua and Psych!”
“WHAT?” yelled Psych.
Within seconds, Aqua and Psych switched bodies!
“GAH!” yelled Psych, who was in Aqua’s body.
Then, Jack used his Capture Stylus to befriend Phione, who quickly switched sides.
“Abad,” said Jack, “Can we get some rain?”
“Absolutely!” said Abad, “Vaporeon, use Rain Dance!”
It began to downpour, and Jack yelled, “Water Pulse!”
The attacks from the two Water-Type Legendaries sent the body confused cousins flying into the horizon.
After going to the PMC base and washing up, Jack sat down with the senior crew to tell them what happened.
“Well,” said Jack, “Very few people knew that Manaphy had actually hatched several years ago. In fact, if it weren’t for this kid, Ash, Manaphy would’ve been captured by evil-doers a long time ago.”
“Wait, as in my cousin, Ash Ketchum?” said Max, “With a Pikachu who never goes into its PokéBall?”
“That’s him. But, I had been assigned by the Rangers to watch over Manaphy, to make sure that no harm would come to him. Well, I was checking up on the little guy, and I saw Aqua stealing an egg. Well, naturally, I tried to stop her, but her Water-Type Pokémon quickly subdued me. I was plummeting to the dark depths of the ocean when Manaphy rescued me. We’ve been secretly tracking the LPC ever since.”
“Well,” said James, “They aren’t going to give up without a fight.”
“I know. But, if my recent transmission from the ranger HQ is correct, you’ve successfully brought almost all the legendary Pokémon into your base?”
“You bet we have!” said Jay.
“Good, but I hear the next few Pokémon of legend aren’t to be toyed with.”
“True,” said Abad, “Jay, perhaps now is the time to make the proposal?”
“Proposal?”
“Yeah,” said Jay, “The way I see it, the LPC has been going after each legendary once. Which means, more than likely, once we obtain the next three, they are going to go all out, when the legendary Pokémon are in one place. As we speak, our Orre base is recruiting new trainers to help us fight, and we want the Rangers to be there as well.”
“Well, I’ll be sure that the Rangers will be more than happy to help in the fight. I trust Manaphy will be safe here?”
“You can count on us,” said Max.
“Good! Then I will be on my way to base, I have a lot to tell them!”
After seeing Jack off, several giant trucks came rolling into the back of the base.
“They’re here,” said Abad, “Max, James, make sure all the legendary Pokémon are here and accounted for.”
“Got it!” said James.
Once doing that, Max sat down. It was about four in the afternoon, and he turned on the TV.
“And in conclusion, be sure not to miss the lunar eclipse tonight,” said the reporter.
“Max!” yelled Ricky as he rushed down the stairs.
“What now?” said Max, who just wanted some peace and quiet.
“I was reading up a little more on Manaphy, on the nights of a lunar eclipse, the Sea Temple is said to appear.”
“So?”
“I just got word that the LPC is heading there, if they find the temple tonight and obtain the Sea Crown, they will be able to control all Water Pokémon!”
“Let’s move!”
With Manaphy on his shoulder and Ricky and Jason as copilots, Max launched the underwater submarine. Then, Manaphy was released into the water to guide them to the temple.
“Alright, so this temple is only seen DURING the eclipse?” asked Max.
“Yeah,” said Ricky, “We just gotta keep ‘em away for that duration of time.”
“Well,” said Jason, “No time to start like the present.”
They looked ahead and saw Aqua’s submarine waiting in the middle of the ocean.
“Man, she moves fast,” said Ricky.
Suddenly, Aqua’s submarine fired torpedoes at the gang!
“Manaphy, Protect!” yelled Max.
Outside the sub, Manaphy used Protect and stopped the torpedoes from doing any damage.
But the chaos was far from over. A whole slew of Water-Types came rushing out, and began attacking the sub!
“That’s it,” said Max. He went over the chamber used to transfer people outside the sub, and put his Nidoking in it. He closed the hatch and water began to flood the chamber.
Another door in the chamber opened, and Nidoking rushed into the water, as Manaphy went into the chamber.
Once the chamber was secured, Ricky released the water and Manaphy stayed in the sub with the gang.
“Ricky,” said Max, “This thing is protected against electricity, right?”
“Yeah,” said Ricky, “Tell him to give it all he’s got!”
Max grabbed a microphone, and then he yelled into it, “Nidoking, gimme your best Thunder Attack!”
Nidoking, though underwater, roared with rage and electrocuted everything in sight. Aqua’s Pokémon began to float to the surface belly-up, and KOed.
“Max,” said Ricky, “It’s time for the eclipse!”
Suddenly in front of them, a giant castle in the water appeared. Aqua’s sub entered the bubble that surrounded it, enclosing the castle with breathable air.
“Follow her!” exclaimed Max.
They docked their sub and saw Aqua running up some stairs.
Manaphy chased her by using a river-like passageway next to the stairs, and the gang ran after her as well.
After several minutes, they arrived in the center of a huge room, and in it was a giant pedestal with tons of huge crystals in it.
“The Sea Crown,” said Aqua, “At long last, it is MINE!”
“Go Sceptile!” yelled Max.
“Feraligatr!” yelled Ricky.
“Pidgeot!” yelled Jason.
“Golduck, Poliwrath, Swampert, let’s go!” yelled Aqua.
“Sceptile, use Leaf Blade!” yelled Max.
“Poliwrath, Submission!” ordered Aqua.
Poliwrath grabbed Sceptile and threw him off the center of the room, which was surrounded by a very long fall.
“Pidgeot! Go!” ordered Jason.
Pidgeot flew to the edge and nosedived downwards. Once catching up with Sceptile, he slowed his decent to match Sceptile’s, and Sceptile grabbed on, and Pidgeot then began to ascend to the fight.
“Aqua,” said Max, “You are not going to win and you it.”
“Why do you think what we’re doing is wrong?” she asked.
“Why do you think it is right?”
She couldn’t answer.
Then, from behind her, Sceptile jumped off Pidgeot and grabbed Aqua, and as her Pokémon tried to help her, he blasted them with Bullet Seed.
“Max,” said Ricky, “The eclipse is almost over, we need to get out, or this whole place is going to flood with us inside!”
Max, Jason, and Aqua returned their Pokémon, and Ricky’s Feraligatr carried Aqua, just incase she tried anything funny.
They reached their subs, and Aqua got into hers as the gang got into theirs. They exited the bubble, and then the castle disappeared.
While Aqua went off in one direction, the gang headed towards Canalave, with Manaphy following playfully behind them in the water.
