Chapter 7: Let Me Spell It Out For Ya!

Being at the PMC, Max had access to all his Pokémon, and the only limit a PMC member had on his or her team was however many he or she could carry; but, for the most part, everyone stayed around six.
In addition to his main team (Charizard, Furret, Nidoking, Feraligatr, Sceptile, and Aggron), he brought along Chimchar and his two ancient Pokémon, Kabutops and Aerodactyl.
Ricky brought his Feraligatr, Mightyena, Metagross, Glalie, Victreebel and Camerupt.
They were flying on Max’s Aerodactyl, and, once they passed the Johto border, could see the Ruins, and the Unown flying all over.
“Oh boy,” said Ricky.
“That’s one way of putting it,” said Max.

They landed in the Ruins, and the Unown began spelling things out on the ground:
DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! Was spelled out over and over again.
“What danger?” asked Ricky.
“Well,” said Max, “They are Psychic-Types…and with this many of them, they can probably sense the future or something that is coming…I suggest we stay in Violet City and keep an eye on things.”

Thanks to Falkner, the Flying-Type Gym Leader of Violet City, Max and Ricky were able to gain access to the top of Sprout Tower, in which gave them a good lookout of the ruins.
“You, know,” said Ricky, “Psychic-Types never cease to amaze me.”
“Really?” asked Max, “I personally find them to be a little annoying sometimes. The only Psychic Pokémon I ever trained was my Espeon, and that was because I had given him to my aunt as an Eevee, who ended up evolving.”
“Yeah,” said Ricky, “My Metagross is amazing. He’s got speed, endurance, power…he’s one of the best Psychic Pokémon out there…look!”
He pointed to the sky towards the ruins, and sure enough, Psych’s planes were flying in!
Max and Ricky both jumped off the tower, sending out the levitating Metagross and the flying Charizard to catch them.

“Deploy the shield generators!” yelled Psych.
The larger plane in which Psych was on deployed four devices around the ruins, and it created a force field around the whole place. As the shield began to materialize, Max and Ricky got into the ruins…as did the loud-roaring Entei: the legendary Fire-Type!
“Whoa!” said Ricky, “Entei!”
“Doesn’t hurt to have a legendary around,” said Max, “Especially when the ones we’re protecting aren’t that smart.”
Ricky looked around and saw Unown ramming into the force field, only to be shot into the other direction.
“FOOLS!” yelled Psych over his loudspeaker, “If a legendary can’t break through, how do you expect to help them? We’ll be back when you’ve all weakened from trying to get out!”
The planes flew away.
“Entei!” yelled Max, “No!”
Entei shot a Fire Blast at the force field, and it shot back right at Max!
“Metagross!” yelled Ricky, “Protect!”
Metagross jumped in front of Max, and the attack was absorbed into a green shield that surrounded them.
Entei, realizing those kind of moves could hurt others, tried instead to claw an head butt his way through…it was in vein.
“Wait,” said Ricky. He was tapping his watch.
“What are you doing?” asked Max.
“This is a Pokétch; it has tons of different functions. My favorite is called the Dousing App. Normally, it locates items, but, I tampered with mine so that it can detect hidden passages…there is one at the bottom of the lake here!”
“Nice…But what about them? Entei can’t go underwater, and the Unown are too scatterbrained to come down with us.”
“Well, if we can get out, then we can destroy the generators. The way I see it, if we can find at least two and then destroy them, it will weaken the field enough to allow the Unown and Entei to break through!”
“Great idea…but we don’t know how deep this passage runs, or for how long…I’ve got an idea!” he reached into his pack, and pulled out two devices that appeared to be mouthpieces, “I traded some Blue Shards to a guy in the Orange Islands for these. They can take the Oxygen out of water so you can breath…battery’s are still pretty charged…here.”
The two trainers sent out their Feraligatrs, and then Ricky’s took off his sunglasses. Ricky put them in his pack. They both grabbed hold of their respective Pokémon and dove down.
There was a small hole at the bottom of the lake, just as Ricky had said. They went into it…it was a bad idea, as a Gyarados rammed them right back out. As if that wasn’t enough, it began attacking them!
Max sent out his Kabutops, who without orders began fighting.
Gyarados used Dragon Rage, but Kabutops used Protect and then swam toward the wild Pokémon. He Slashed him hard, then grabbed on, using Giga Drain. The Gyarados fell to the bottom of the lake, KOed.
Max gave Ricky the thumbs up, and they headed down again, this time, with Kabutops in front.
After twenty minutes, they came up in the center of the fountain of the park north of Goldenrod City!
“Holy Ho-oh!” said Max, “It took us all the way out here?”
“Could be worse,” said Ricky, “We could’ve wound up on the Lilycove shore.”
They looked to the east, and saw the shield still there. It would pulsate every couple of seconds, which meant the Unown were still trying to penetrate it. Then, there was a big pulsation; Entei.
“We gotta find those generators!” said Ricky.
The duo lucked out, as one of the generators was in the fountain!
“Get out of the water!” said Max.
They got out, as did their Pokémon.
“Nidoking! Furret! Thunderbolt!” he yelled
Nidoking and Furret came out, then electrocuted the pond, and the generator exploded! What neither Max or Ricky realized was that the mayor of Goldenrod, who had PAYED for the fountain was standing right behind them.
“Um…” said Max, “My name is Richard Spade, brother of J.C. Spade, I was last seen at Mount Silver with my Blastoise, you can find me there…RUN!”
The duo hopped onto Ricky’s Metagross as flew out of their faster than a Golbat out of Mount Chimney!”

They landed outside Ekruteak City, where they found the second generator.
“I’ve got this one!” said Ricky, “Mightyena, Camerupt, go! Use Crunch!”
Mightyena Crunched off the lid to the control panel.
“Now, use Flamethrower!” he said.
Camerupt blasted the controls with flames, and the generator exploded. There was a clear weakening in the force field.
“Let’s get to the ruins!” yelled Max.

By the time they arrived, the LPC was their, and Entei was bursting through. The LPC goons were electrocuting him!
“Hey!” yelled Ricky, “Just who do you guys think you are?”
“It’s time to teach you a lesson!” yelled Max.
“GO FERALIGATR!” they yelled together, “HYDRO CANNON!”
They blasted the goons with a high-pressured water attack, sending them flying past Psych’s plane, which made him use his Alakazam to Teleport to the ground.
“Psychic!” he yelled.
“Crunch!” they duo said together.
They used their Dark-Type move to break through Alakazam’s move, and bit down hard, KOing him.
“RETREAT!” yelled Psych.
The LPC left, and Entei, now out of the shield that had collapsed, roared in pain. Max and Ricky tried to get close, but Entei roared at them, and, in a ton of pain, leapt off to Ekruteak.
“Where’s he going?” asked Ricky.
“The Burned Tower,” said Max, “It’s where his brothers, Suicune and Raikou live. They’ll take care of him. But for now, let’s get those Unown out of here.”

Using his Dousing App, Ricky found where the Unown tiles were located, and the Unown went in a portal so that they could be taken with Max and Ricky.
Max dialed a number into his PokéGear.
“Abad?” asked Max.
“Yes sir!” said Abad, “How’s your mission going?”
“Good, we’ve got the Unown, how about the others?”
“The other two boxes of tiles are on their way right now. But you guys aren’t.”
“Why not?” asked Ricky.
“I heard from some local news crews that Entei was seen fleeing to the Burned Tower, badly injured.”
“Yeah,” said Max, “He was trying to protect the Unown.”
“Well, the last thing we need is the LPC getting a legendary, and the fact that Entei is hurt makes it that much easier for them. I don’t care if you have to CAPTURE him, we need to bring him here and treat him. Obviously, he is confused with pain, but I’m sure Raikou or Suicune will listen to you…Good luck.”

This question i will answer in the story in a much later chapter....its gonna be good. I know it doesnt make sense, but all i'll say is Rich Spade is MAx's oldest and best friend.

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen!

Chapter 8: Rising From the Ashes of the Burned Tower!

Max and Ricky rushed to Ekruteak, knowing that the LPC was probably there already.
“My guess is Cinder, as usual, along with Masika and Volt,” said Ricky.
Max had his new Chimchar on his shoulder, and he jumped into his pack at the mention of his former trainer’s name.
“I swear,” said Max, “You’d think a Skutank crawled up her rear and died.”
Ricky wasn’t laughing.
“Oh, c'mon, that was funny!” said Max.
“No, man,” said Ricky, “Look!”
They looked at the top of the Burned Tower, and saw Water Guns and Thunderbolts shooting at LPC planes! And occasional Fire Blast was also seen.
“Aw man!” yelled Max, “Charizard, Aerodactyl, go!”
“Metagross, I choose you!” yelled Ricky.
“Go help them now!” yelled Max.
The trio of Pokémon went off.

When Max and Ricky arrived, the trio of legends, along with their own Pokémon were captured!
“Thanks for the catch!” yelled Volt, who, behind him, stood his cousins, Cinder and Masika.
“You still don’t get it, do you Max?” said Volt.
“What?” asked Max.
“In time, you will find out…let’s go!”
With Pokémon in tact, the trio of cousins left.

Max and Ricky began running after the planes, and Morty, Gym Leader of Ekruteak City, came up floating on his Gengar, with a Gastly and Haunter next to him…but it wasn’t just ANY Haunter, it was the Haunter Max left there to train!
“Hop on!” yelled Morty.
Ricky got onto the Gastly and Max grabbed onto his old friend.

They caught up with the planes, and Morty said, “Hold on! We’re gonna phase!”
The group turned invisible, and, upon regaining color, they were inside the giant cargo plane.
“Hm…” said Max, “Look!” Max pointed to three PokéBalls, he opened them, and inside was Charizard, Aerodactyl, and Metagross.
Charizard greeted Haunter. The duo had been on Max’s first team ever, the same team who helped Max obtain his first championship.
Feraligatr then popped out, since, as an energetic Totodile, was best friends with the mischievous Pokémon.
“No time for reunions, guys,” said Max.
“Go, Mightyena!” said Ricky, “Odor Sleuth!”
Mightyena began sniffing, then running!
“Follow him!” said Morty.
They ran after Ricky’s Pokémon, and wound up in the storage room, where Masika, Bolt, and Cinder were locking up the legendaries.
“Ready?” asked Max.
“You’ve got it!” said Morty.
“Always!” said Ricky.
“Shadow Punch!” yelled Max.
“Night Shade!” yelled Morty.
“Sucker Punch!” yelled Ricky!
They knocked the trio back, who sent out their own Pokémon!
“Ninetales!” yelled Cinder.
“Swampert!” yelled Masika.
“Electabuzz!” yelled Bolt.
“Why is it always the hard way?” asked Max, “Feraligatr! Charizard! Nidoking! Haunter! Ice, Fire, Thunder, and Shadow Punch!”
“Imprison!” yelled Cinder.
All of the gang’s Pokémon were frozen in an invisible box, and that is when Chimchar came out!
“HA!!!!” yelled Cinder, “That little thing can’t attack for nothing! You expect him to beat all of us?”
“Yes,” said Max, “I DO!!!! Flare Blitz!”
Chimchar began running, setting himself on fire, and then, he began glowing white! Upon contact with Electabuzz, he evolved into Monferno!
“What?!?!?” asked Masika.
“You said we had nothing to worry about!” yelled Bolt.
“Monferno!” yelled Max, “Take ‘em out with Fire Blast!”
The newly evolved Pokémon blasted and KOed the opponents, which released the other Pokémon…they weren’t happy.
“Bust ‘em out!” yelled Morty.
Ricky’s Mightyena and Max’s Nidoking crushed Raikou’s cage, Charizard and Monferno melted away the one imprisoning Suicune, and Haunter and Gengar phased the injured Entei out.
“SELFDESTRUCT IN FIVE MINUTES!” yelled a computer voice.
“How do we get three huge legendary Pokémon to the ground in five minutes?” asked Ricky.
“There!” yelled Morty.
They all looked out the window to see a PMC cargo plane fly next to them, and, in the pilot seat, was Jason! And his copilot was none other than James!
And, beside the plane was Abad’s Mew, who created a psychic pathway to cross planes.
Nidoking and Feraligatr carried Entei, while the others followed.
Once safely on the plane, Ricky took to copilot seat and said, “Let’s get out of here! That plane is gonna blow in half a minute!”
“You got it!” said Jason.
After watching the explosion, James checked each legendary.
“I see Chimchar evolved,” said James.
“Yep,” said Max.
“Mewtwo said that your Chimchar has amazing potential…who would’ve thought he’d evolve in your first battle using him?”
“Yeah…James, can I tell you something?...In confidence?”
“Always; what’s wrong?”
“I have a bad feeling…I don’t know when, I don’t know where, but something horrible is about to happen, and everyone involved in the PMC is going to contribute to it…I know it sounds crazy, but I can’t get rid of this feeling.”
“Max, you’ve been through a lot the past decade or so…wars and battles few trainers have been lucky enough to witness. Your mind has grown accustom to chaos. Every time something calms downs, another thing rises up, and you have always been at the center of it. You need to chill out every once in a while. Take you and your Pokémon with Lindsey and take a vacation to Lilycove or the Valor Lakefront when all this madness is over.”
“Nah, knowing my luck, something else will arise…but hey, I guess you're right…it’s probably nothing.”
“Guys!” yelled Jason, “We’re not in the clear yet!”
“LPC is surrounding us!” yelled Ricky.
“Open the roof!” yelled Max.
James pressed a button to open a hatch in the roof, and both of them, along with Suicune and Raikou, jumped out, and found Bolt on top of their plane with an Ampharos!
“Raikou!” yelled Max, “Thunder!”
“Hydro Pump, Suicune!” yelled James.
The to legendary Pokémon followed the orders of the two trainers who’s reputation was as big as their own, blasting Bolt and his Pokémon into the sea.
“Let’s go home, fast!” yelled James.

please comment, i know its another short chapter, but i'm getting to a chapter soon i'm really looking forward to writing!

the electabuzz had nothing to do with the evolution. I fyou reread it, you will see that the evolution process (GLOWING WHITE) began in the middle of the Flare Blitz. and, the evolution process ended as he made contact with electabuzz...sheer coincidence

RE: Pokémon Max's Story: The PMC VS. The LPC Seventeen!

Chapter 9: Guardian of the Sea!

“No one knows how or why these water spirals are occurring,” said the reporter, “But, an evacuation of the Orange Islands has been ordered. No one is allowed to enter the islands for their own safety.”
Max clicked off the T.V.
“Anyone there should know it’s Lugia,” said James.
“Whatever the reason,” said Abad, “I want to get some people down there. Max, tell Jason you and him are going to paradise…in a sense.”

Jason and Max were screaming because of the fact that Jason was trying to pilot around water funnels that were shooting up out of nowhere!
“Why is Lugia so ticked off?” ask Jason.
“I don’t know,” said Max, “But I do know this: Shamouti Island will never evacuate. Land us there, and we will get the flute to summon Lugia to the surface!”

Once on the island, the leader of the island gave Max the flute, and then Max and Jason went to the shine.
“Let’s hope Lugia will listen,” said Jason.
“Yeah,” said Max. He pressed his lips to the mouthpiece of the flute, and began playing a soft tune. Then, a huge funnel appeared in the sea right in front of them! It then fell, and revealed the guardian of the sea, Lugia!
“What!?!?!?!?!?” Lugia roared in their heads.
“Lugia!” yelled Max, “It’s just me and my friend, we want to help you! why are you doing all of this?”
“They took my child!”
“Wait,” said Jason, “There’s two Lugias?!?”
“Yeah,” said Max, “My cousin, Ash, rescued the baby Lugia from Team Rocket once.”
“Will you help me find him?” asked Lugia.
“Absolutely!” said Jason, “Do you know where they went?”
“Deep into the ocean, the pressure is too much for my body to handle.”
“Hm…” said Max, “I’ve got it!”
“What?’ asked Jason.
“If we can create a big enough electric shock in the water, we will short circuit their engines, and they will have to come up in order to have air! Does your Rhyperior know any Electric moves?”
“Yeah! He knows Thunderbolt!”
“Well, Nidoking! Aggron! Furret! C'mon out!”
“Rhyperior, let’s roll!”
“THUNDERBOLT!” they yelled together.
After massively shocking the water, they saw the large sub come up. But, before they could pursue it…
“NO AGGRON!” yelled Jason as he ran from the rampaging Pokémon, “STOP!”
“Return!” yelled Max. He Returned Aggron just before his two massive horns gored Jason right up the wha zoo.
“Thanks,” he said, “Let’s go.”

Then, out of the sub top came Psych and Harpie!
“Man!” said Max, “Haven’t I seen enough of you?”
“The glorious thing about being the Psychic LPC trainer…there are tons of Psychic-Type Legendaries!”
“Let’s end this here and now!” yelled Jason.
“If you insist!” yelled Harpie, “Go, Noctowl!”
“Hypno,” said Psych, “I choose you!”
“Let’s go Rhyperior!” yelled Jason.
“Lugia!” yelled Max, “Will fight as my Pokémon?”
“It would be both my honor,” he said, then he looked at the duo of opponents, and his eyes filled with rage, “AS WELL AS MY PLEASURE!”
“Rhyperior!” yelled Jason, “Blizzard!”
“Hypnosis!” yelled Harpie.
“Aeroblast!” yelled Max.
Lugia flung Noctowl into the sea with a massive blast of energy.
“Hypno!” yelled Psych, “Use Disable!”
“Protect!” yelled Jason.
Rhyperior blocked the attack for his legendary partner.
“Let’s not waste anymore time!” yelled Max, “Psycho Boost!”
“As you wish!” yelled Lugia.
His eyes, flooded with pain, anger, and rage began to glow a bright blue. His body was surrounded in a bright, purple aura, and then, the whole sub exploded!
Harpie and Psych managed to escape on her Pidgeot, and Max and Jason ran into the waters to find the baby Lugia.
“HA!” yelled Psych, “It is of false effort! The Lugia has already been transported!”
They flew off, but Lugia could fly faster! Lugia folded down the tiny wings along his back to maximize his speed, then Aeroblasted them right out of the air!
They landed in a dense forest on Shamouti. Max and Jason rushed to find them.

Upon finding them, they were running and Lugia was too large to fit into the dense forest, but, Max’s Sceptile wasn’t! In jungles like this, Sceptile was Max’s number one, jumping along tree tops, tree branches, and vines. On the ground, Nidoking tore through anything and everything in his path, clearing the way for Max and Jason.
They finally caught up to them, and Sceptile blasted a small Solarbeam in front of them. Stunned by the attack, Nidoking leapt through the air and grabbed Harpie in his arms, and wrapped his long tail around Psych with crushing force!
Sceptile then cleared an opening in the tree tops using Leaf Blade to allow Lugia to come down.
“WHERE IS HE?!?!?” roared the mighty Pokémon as his eyes gleamed with blue energy and an Aeroblast was already powering up.
“Like we’d ever tell you!” yelled Harpie.
“Besides, what will you do to us Max?” asked Psych.
“I may not be able to order Nidoking or Sceptile to severely injure you, but this Lugia isn’t about to let his guard down, so I advise you fess up before you have a bigger problem than me!” yelled Max.
The energy in Lugia’s mouth became even larger, and the angry could not only be seen, but it was so much that not only were all four trainers terrified, so were Nidoking and Sceptile!
“He’s in a cargo plane headed towards our base!” yelled Psych.
“Wimp,” said Harpie.
“Return!’ yelled Max.
Max and Jason hopped onto Lugia and they sped off into the now setting sun.

“There!” said Jason, “Look!”
There it was, the cargo plane.
“Charizard,” said Max, “Let’s rock!”
“Go, Pidgeot!” yelled Jason. They each hopped onto their own Pokémon to allow Lugia to speed up without them falling off.
But, then the plane turned into a space shuttle! It was going up!
“Not even I can go up there!” gasped Lugia.
“I can!” yelled Max, “MEW!!!!!”
Max’s Mew came out of nowhere, and surrounded everyone in a psychic bubble. They then chased after the shuttle.
“Are you close enough?” asked Jason.
Max looked at his Mew, and Mew nodded.
“Yep!” said Max, “Mew, Teleport!”
They all vanished and reappeared in the shuttle! They heard the cries of a baby Lugia!
They took a few halls to find him in a tiny cage.
“Mew,” said Max, “Use False Swipe!”
Mew False Swiped the cage to break it open, and at the same time, didn’t hurt the tiny legendary.
“Let’s go without making a big scene,” said Jason.
“Mew,” asked Max, “Can you Teleport us outta here?”
Mew nodded, and did so.

Upon their return to the surface, a PMC cruise liner was waiting for them. And with that, they set off for the HQ.

With the Lugias in the legendary sanctuary, Max and Abad went ouside to talk.
“To think,” said Abad, “We were once just rookies who only wanted to have fun.”
“Time for fun,” said Max, “Now there’s something I don’t have time for.
“Max, you know you don’t have to do all this? I mean, I know you have close bonds with almost every legendary Pokémon, but you are allowed to have a life.
“I know, but it’s just…”
“What?”
“Time…I want to make sure that before my time comes, this world is a better place…unfortunately, time seems to always be running out…”
At that moment, a strange energy portal open in front of them! First, Celebi came out! Then, a shiny Venusaur, and a shiny Blastoise! They were followed by a shiny Linoone and a shiny Steelix!
“No way…” said Abad.
After them, a rugged, older man walked out.
“Dad?” asked Max.
