Yes. I used to be Toxicroak all the time. (Zyflair will probably remember "Red" from about 5 of her Mystery Dungeon games. He never got along with Marissa.)

Lol. I applied for The Region with Kyogre as my legend link. I am being adde in after snivyluver completes her quest or dies.

~Day One, Afternoon, Rafan Outpost - West Entrance~

The creaking of wooden wheels gave sound to the inactive town. Few were outside in the blazing sunlight, mixing with the humid air to form even a few mirages on the road. They turned to look out at the incoming, long carriage moving to them on the road. All of the passangers, including you, have at least the shade of the roof to make the heat bearable. No one wasting their breath for a word, as speaking would just make the slightly-cramped space even warmer. A few were even asleep, unaware that their destination was close by.

Just right on the edge of town, however, the carriage was stopped, stirring many of the passangers inside. Lifting heads, turning heads, wondering if they were there. One of the two doors of the passanger cabin opened, and a Blastoise looked in, wearing a fine suit to indicate his wealthy status.

"Alright. Everyone out."

Light mumurs of confusion came into existence as, one by one, everyone went out. As you enter into the open, you can tell that the carriage still hasn't entered town. In addition to the well-dressed Blastoise stood a hooded figure to his side. This person didn't move at all as the rest of the people got out, gathering in front of the Blastoise. He looked left and right at the group, clasping his stubby hands together.

"Welcome to Rogu! I don't know where you came from or what you have taken the trip to this golden country, but I welcome you nevertheless! Unfortunately, assigned to be the bearer of bad news, I was informed that - in order to prevent flocking immigrants - we now issue a one gold coin entrance fee to cross the border."

The following caused an outrage among the people, protesting as the Blastoise raised his hand to continue talking.

"I assure you, this policy was in no way endorsed by me-"

"Cut the crap!" shouted a Machamp, breaking out of the crowd, using his arms to push others out of his way. "You rich folks just want to swindle more from us! This land isn't just yours! I'll show you that-"

Before he could advance any further, the hooded being moved, ending up between the Blastoise and the Machamp. The Blastoise tsk'd, wagging a finger.

"What in the world are you talking about? It's only a coin. Just pay up and you'll be fine." Growling, the Machamp ran for what was blocking him from his target: the hooded being. To his astonishment, the hooded figure also moved right at him, but even faster, slamming the head right at his gut. In a cry of pain, he was sent whirling back into the crowd, several moving out of the way to avoid his flying body, hitting the ground with a thud. Many stare in shock and fear from the clothed enigma protecting the Blastoise.

"Now, let's get started! Single file right over here, please!" the Blastoise said, getting out a wooden box with a slot for the coin. Intimidated, many got in a line, walking past as they paid. You have not yet gotten into the crowd. You could just pay a gold coin like the others... or should you fight your way past this?

With a scenario concerning decisions, it is important to consider your character's personality. Go through the thought process your character could go through and the actions they make would be more realistic. Remember to make a detailed post, rather than just going wtih the bare response.

"You think you cheap fools can steal from ME? This is ridiculous! I am King, the most powerful warrior of my town!" King roared, eyes filled with indignant fury. "I don't know about the rest of you travelers, but I am not pulling out a pebble for these aristocratic thieves!"

Alex's supercomputer-like brain was calcualting rapidly. He was stronger than the Machamp, but the so was the hooded figure. Based on his calculations, the hooded figure's power was probably equal to or greater than Alex's. He was about to step into line to pay when he heard King shout defiance. This complicates things, Alex thought. I'll use this as another chance to anazlise the hooded figure's capabilities, Alex decided as he tensed, ready to spring into action, but not doing anything yet.

Myzer stumbled, bumping into a Venosaur. "My apologies sir, I tripped." Myzer gave a short bow and then walked away, the coin he had pick-pocketed already tucked into his pocket.

He handed it over to the Blastoise when he reached the front of the line, and entered the town. A few seconds later, the Venosaur howled in rage as he discovered the missing money. Myzer grinned.

King took a step forwards. He was using his magic to make the ground tremble with each step, to intimidate. "I can take any hit you dish out. My skin is thicker than leather," King said, and ge prepared himself to begin the brawl.

Ooc: I almost made the Blastoise take an action, but caught it... Lol

Miku waited for her turn to make her move with the arrogant Blastoise. Pondering in her mind to try and charm the greedy creature, or to threaten him, forcing him to give her allowance into the town for no charge. But, that hooded creature may contain something more powerful than my little dagger... she thought, and to add the fact I don't know the gender of that one - it may be a she - the bodyguard of the Blastoise - which wouldn't fall for my looks.
"I guess I can pay, I have more than just one," she muttered to herself, glancing at a little leather pocket, on the side of her black leather belt, heavy with coins.

OOC~Forgot to add she has a little belt, the one I mentioned above, with a few pockets to hold things, and a little strap to hold her dagger.

As the silent figure and the Blastoise stood, King became impatient. "I've had enough of this nonsense!" He roared. He moved towards the silent figure and sent a rapid but massively powerful fist hurtling towards his opponent's head.

(Hold on, guys, I think we should give others a chance to post.)

Among the back of the single file line was quite the massive figure; a large Conkeldurr with well-defined features. Many behind him had to look around the man in order to look at anything; that's how large this man was. A couple seemed to question the Blastoise silently, wondering to themselves why he would try to stop a creature of such massive size...and a blade almost as large (and undoubtedly more heavy). Surely, he could just smash through the Blastoise with sheer force...couldn't he? Well, he could, but the Conkeldurr seemed to be smarter than that.
The Conkeldurr reached into the pocket of his thick lower clothing. Soon, out came the hand and a golden coin that would be tiny in comparison to his hand. Now, why was this man paying up? Though many knew what others would call Mach Punch, with his massive size, it'd be quite easy to see an attack coming. Knowing this, the Conkeldurr ignored the seemingly arrogant Nidoking and waited patiently in line to pay the simple toll.

OoC: Nabby, I don't want you to get too far ahead, so I'll hold you off a bit.

Thanks to King's rash actions, Alex and Miku managed to see more if the bodyguard in action. The Conkledurr was also correct in the fact that with such a huge body, even at a quick speed, King was easily seen in his attack. Despite that, the punch itself was still fast, giving his opponent pressed for time in reaction. The figure ducked down diagonally to avoid the attack, but didn't stop there; King was seriously intent on fighting, so simply dodging was pointless. As the figure ducked, its arm moved up, a blue paw reach out past the robe. It tapped the edge of King's punching arm, coating a large area of it with ice. This ice served two purposes: to add weight onto the arm to tip King's balance, as well as numb the feeling in the arm.

Not stopping there, a half second after the punch, the hooded being's weight transfer from the duck moved its entire body to the ground. It spun as its entire body lowered, a Vaporeon tail extended out of the cloak and striking one of King's legs from behind, coating it with ice as well. With foot up and two body parts heavy with ice to add to his already-large weight, falling was inevitable.

King looks down at his body. He is shivering, but laughs a little. "You should know a little chill can't stop me," he says. He concentrates, clenching his muscles. The ground glows red-hot, as he used a little bit of his rare heat magic. The ice thaws out around him, and he stands up, and shakes himself off. "Maybe I have underestimated you slightly, but I am not one to be trifled with either," he says. He crosses his arms, and waits to see the figures next action.

Ooc: Let me know if I'm being unreasonable, but I'm doing my best to match his description.

"Owch, don't wanna deal with that," Miku finally decided, and walked up to the Blastoise, "Here you go, fine sir, and may to have a good day," Miku said with a wink, dropping a gold coin in his box. It'd be good to make an ally like that from the start, especially if he has a bodyguard like that.

OOC: Got it.

IC: Myzer turned to watch the fight, interested to see this hooded figures' skills.

"A Vaporeon," he muttered, absent-mindedly transforming into one. "Interesting..."

I must make him an ally. He thought. Or her. He corrected himself. Some of the strongest Pokemon in the world were female.

King ponders his next strategy. Should he proceed in combat, or let the Vaporeon speak. Clearly, he was more powerful and had little problem with the ice, but what it used water magic? Not to mention it had speed to match his own. He decides to wait for the Vaporeon to speak, but already begins thinking of a technique to outwit the foe.

King pauses and thinks for a moment. "Judging by your tail, you're a Vaporeon, right? That means you aren't very good at moving in dry places. I see no nerby water, so what happens if I do this?" King asks, as he rakes several steps away in the opposite direction. "You cannot hit me with you freezing paws, but I can do this!" he yells. He grunts and clenches his fists. With a roar, he throws them into the air and a column of Earth erupts right next to where his opponent is standing. "I can hit you still," King bellows.

The concrete swordsman chuckled as he watched the Nidoking's worthless attempts to get through without needing to pay. A thought popped up in his head; maybe he couldn't afford it? A single gold coin wasn't a massive amount of money, but it was nothing to sneeze at. Or maybe he simply thought it was unfair. Either way, he found it quite entertaining watching the younger Nidoking trying to force his way through. Though he had no idea who the Vaporeon was, the Conkeldurr knew that by the way that it handled King's attack, it wasn't even trying. What a show.

"Have a nice day," the Blastoise said to Miku as well, glancing at her a moment before calling for the next one in line.

"..."
The Vaporeon took out its paws, taking off the hood to reveal her feminine, cold stare. That game face, however, was replaced with a light smile as she clenched a paw. Opening it, it revealed to have a small amount of water, and she moved that very paw in a graceful arc, at least four feet tall over her head, ice forming where her paw was moving. At the top of this arc, the paw dropped straight down to the bottom end of the arc, creating another column of of ice, but this one was much thinner. Anyone that knew weaponary could distinguish the shape of the ice sclupture to be nothing short of a longbow. Taking her other paw, she applied the same trick, pulling it back to form an arrow that was made of similar ice. Silently, she notched it onto the bow, and miraculously drew the bowstring supposedly made of ice. She aimed at King before becoming still again.

Serina watched as a Vaporeon and another pokemon were fighting....

"Hmm."

Thats all she had to say about it. She could tell that they were both strong, especially the Vaporeon.

"Here ya go pall."

She flips one gold coin into the air. It falls through the slit in the wooden box perfectly. She didn't feel like harming anyone at the moment.
