Miku stepped closer and examined the area. "I can't see a trace of who did this, must be somebody who's good with disguise..." she muttered. Then the thought crossed her mind, That Zoroark! He seemed pretty sneaky... she started to gather. Or, with a weight like a Blastoise, he may have just tripped over something, the box flew over his head, came down on him, knocked him out, and the coins scattered from the open box.... Miku just didn't know what to assume.

King heard nothing. He didn't expect to. There was far to much bustle in this relatively large town. He got up and proceded towards the inn. This was very odd. He could think of no motives for anyone to attack besides the people of the caravan. As far as he could tell, the Blastoise was not very cruel towards the Vaporeon, but he didn't know that much. Nidoking entered the inn. He paid the bartender for rent for a few days. It didn't cost too much. As he lumbered through the building towards his room, he began to feel drowsy. Maybe I will see things clearer after a rest. He says to himself. King enters his room and his shoulders sag. The bed is adequate for nothing larger than a Pikachu. He picks it up and puts it on a shelf, and lies down on the cold, hard floor. Before he sleeps, he places a spell at his door and the window. It is an invisible spell that burns the feet of any that touch it, and sizzles very loudly, to wake him up if an intruder steps on it. King falls asleep.

OOC: Sorry, I posted but was quadrouple ninja'd, so I deleted it.

IC: "Have you figured it out?" Myzer asked the Conkeldur, stepping out of the shadows behind it.

Myzer had been unconcerned by the scream that was heard earlier, but he had checked it out curiously. Of course, none of the other Pokemon had seen him, he had made sure of that. Myzer had been tempted to steal some of the money, but he had fought the urge.

"It perplexes me."

Ranald wasn't exactly good at quickdrawing, but his hand went to the hilt of his blade pretty fast, ready to pull it out. But then he recognized the voice. He didn't know who it was, but he had heard it on the carriage. Putting the hand down, he looked over his shoulder.
"I think I'd end up breaking something if I set foot in that house...so no, I have not," he said as he turned to face the Zoroark (whether it really was the Zoroark or the Zoroark disguised as someone). "Why, are you curious as well?"

"Yes," Myzer said, sitting down beside the older Pokemon. "There aren't many suspects. The Vaporeon, King, or someone from the village. I don't doubt Blastoise had feuds with other villagers, but it seems unlikely he would be overpowered that easily."

Serina heard some chatter outside the house. She could tell my the Aura who it was. She stepped outside, the investigation was well over for her. he had been hit in the head..Nothing more to her. She leaped over to the other pokemon.

"So, what have you two fine gents came up with?"

(I'll let you all continue. Feel free to select possible areas in the town: the tavern, the inn, and the house the Blastoise is in. Or you can try to indentify other areas of town. Outside of town has no one to talk to, so you'll have to get in a building to get information from someone else.)

Everyone else slowly left as they couldn't figure anything out, leaving Alex. He walked over to the Blastoise and examined it, careful not to disturb any evidence. For a millisecond he considered punching the Blastoise to wake it up, but that would make it seem like he was the assailant. He looked around one last time for any evidence of an attack, maybe just soemthing that would tell him the attacker's type, before exiting the house. He walked over to te Conkeldurr, Lucario, and Zoroark and listened to their conversation.

"...King?" Ranald asked, not knowing who Myzer was talking about. "You mean that arrogant Nidoking who refused to pay?"
At that moment, he heard Serina's voice. Normally, the man would be alarmed, but with a Pokemon by his side that easily had better hearing and better instincts than him, he relied on those, not finding the new character to be much of a threat to them.
"Well...nothing. I don't even know what happened. I was just about to ask this man about this 'suspect' thing...did something happen? Did it have to do with that scream?"

"Yes, that was King," Myzer confirmed. "There is an unconscious Blastoise in a house the scream came from. The same Blastoise who took our money."

He sighed. "There was also a broken box and money scattered by the Blastoise's head. I assume whoever knocked him out hit him on the head with the box."

He looked over at the Lucario and the Metagross that was standing beside it and sighed. "But I don't have any concrete evidence."

Shade went up the stairs to where the Blastoise was. He saw coins scattered across the floor, a half broken box, and a Blastoise completely knocked out. Shade stared at the Blastoise. How in the world could an immense pokemon such as a Blastoise get knocked out? Unless magic was involved, there could be no possible way. Shade poked him in the head. No response. ~Well, i cant help so i guess ill... Well ill do something.~ Shade thought.

King wakes up. Nothing had changed. He had set the traps in case anyone was to intrude, since he probably was a suspect to the incident. King destroys the traps, and walks out of the inn. He had to find that Vaporeon. He sees a group of Pokemon in the village. He heads over. "If you think it was me, it wasn't," he says. "I came in after the scream. Zoroark knows. I asked him where to find the Metagross when the scream came. Anyways, you guys observed my fighting style. You should know that I am much more reckless. There would be at least TWO wholes in the walls if I went after Blastoise. One for my entry, and one for his exit. I am almost positive it was the Vaporeon. Notice how she is his bodygaurd, but she is nowhere around? That proves it's her in my book."

Myzer looked over at King. "Right now, I am taking everything I see with a grain of salt. You should too. The Vaporeon is my prime suspect, but I don't know who the villagers are, or if they were upset with the Blastoise."

King looks at everyone. "I am going to find that Metagross. I still have a few questions for him. Is he still in the house?" King asks.

OOC: @Pokefan just a random question about your char. why would someone make a sword that heavy?
Shade exited the building. He was absolutely no help and had nothing to do with any of this. Plus, with him not knowing who the Blastoise was, he couldnt figure out who did it. Shade walked to a little inn in town. He bought a room and stepped inside it. The room wasnt much to look at. It had a bed, a bathroom, and a window that overlooked a small shop. Shade curled up on the bed and went to sleep.

Ooc @Slashinzangoose
He probably uses it to have massive momentum. If he hits with the blade, it could cut through rock. If hit with the flat, it's like getting hit by a truck.

OOC: I'm actually right next to the other Pokemon.

In:Alex turned to the others. "How come you all believe it is Vaporeon? Vaporeon was probabaly just a hired bodyguard, it's highly likely that someone with a grudge against Blastoise simply waited for the Vaporeon to leave, then ambushed Blastoise. As to who would do that, pretty much anyone on the carriage would have. Also, since we know little about Blastoise, there could be plently of other Pokemon who dislike him. Truthfully, we do not have the facts to make a concrete statemen until Blastoise wakes up. Oh, and what did you want to ask me, King?"

(Because he can use it, that's why.)

(You're entirely correct with the exception of the rock cutting thing. It'd wouldn't cut rock...it destroy it.)

Ranald stared at King, a tad surprised at his statement.
"...I have no idea what you're talking about. It could have been the Vaporeon, it couldn't have. Have you considered the fact that somebody got into town after we did?"
As weak of a point that might have been, he at least knew not to draw to conclusions just yet...even though he knew almost nothing about what was going on.
"I don't believe it's the Vaporeon, good sir," he replied to the Metagross. "She's a prime suspect, but we have no physical proof that it was, indeed, the Vaporeon. I stand by what the Metagross says, and if we truly want to find out who committed such a simple crime, then we go to investigate."
