These new Pokemon seem fresh while still looking like Pokemon. I like (most of) them. Better than 5th gen at least.
Fourth is allegedly the day we'll be getting a lot of new news for X/Y. Fingers crossed for that rumored ice wolf line...

One thing that is missing is the Geodude-esque line we've seen regurgitated so many times.

He might. It would make sense. Though then we could add two new pokemon that we know of cause the line always has three pokemon.

New sixth-gen Pokemon have confirmed to not be getting mega-evo's. Sucks, doesn't it?
People with review copies have said that the mega-evo stone for other Kanto starters don't end with a letter, meaning there's only one of them. While the inequality with Kanto starters has been talked about quite a bit, there hasn't been any attention to only one 3rd gen starter have a mega-evo so far...nice catch.
Anyways, I think we can all agree that a mega Entei, Raikou, and Suicune would be great to have. Maybe they'd even go dual-typed? Probably not, just a thought.

I've always thought that would be a perfect idea for a Rock type. Glad I'm not the only one who thought of that haha

Hmmm. Anyone thinking it may be Rock/Dragon as well, similar to the type change of Mega Charizard X, or would that take too much attention off Tyrantrum?

I really hope the alleged "Ice wolf" Pokemon is real. It would be an epic edition to my team.
We just covered the Geodude/rock/mineral thing tradition for this gen, we got the Pikachu-themed Pokemon already, both the two-staged basic Pokemon catchable at routes one and two-ish, we don't know the major or secondary legendary trio (although we know 2/3 of the major), and we know the fossils. Anything else?
EDIT: At least it seems you get Tyrunt early...just hope I don't pass him by like I did with the gen 5 fossils. If only I knew exactly where he was...oh wait! I have the internet to use! The internet will know EVERYTHING about Pokemon X and Y by the 12th. (Tyrunt LV 22 in picture)

I think they might change it to Dragon/Flying. Seeing as how Mega Evolution apparently awakens their true being or potential, I can see Aerodactyl returning to it's "original" state, being how it looked before becoming fossilized. This would keep Tyrantrum from being ignored as much, too. I mean, you can't go with the "Why not just have a Rock/Dragon-type with Mega stats instead?" thing if they did this. Plus, if they did this whole thing, they could easily make Aerodactyl even more badass through appearance. By the way, has anyone found any pictures of new megas?
