I think its safe to say that this list is almost legit. Charizard, Blastoise, Gengar, Kangaskhan, Pinsir, Jynx, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Mewtwo, Ampharos, Scizor, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Heracross, Gardevoir, Absol, Medicham, Banette, Latias, Latios, Aggron, Abomasnow

The list is fake. Aerodactyl wasn't on the list (seems like you added it), and we've already seen a Galvantuanite, sorry but nope.

I went to Wal-Mart, abd they have the games in the back, but aren't aloud to put them on the shelves. And if they do, it's a $3000 fine for releasing the games early.

That Canadian store needs to triple that amount of fines x how many people got the game early from there in my opinion.

Yea, that's how you make money.
These leaks also caused GF to lose money, in the amount of people that canceled their pre-order. That's why things are meant to be released on a set date.
Breaking that date, is illegal for one, and can cause problems.

Uh, it's their game. They made it. They set a release date. The store broke it. So I fail to see how a fine is crossing a line or retaliation. Pokemon doesn't belong to the game stores nor the fans. It belongs to Game Freak. How is it wrong for them to want their worldwide release? Something FOR the fans that honestly is something that a lot of people I know are very happy about. I'm not necessarily against the leaks. I certainly looked at and enjoyed them. But I'd say it's well within Game Freak's right to be upset and give a penalty to the stores who broke the street date.

Anyways, in regards to leaks, I'm really hoping SOMEBODY finds a Gen 5 mega stone soon. The Galvantula one if I recall had zero proof and easily could have been fake. I'd really like some concrete proof at least one exists. Hoping somebody finds Banette's item soon too. I'm really curious what it's type and ability will be. Kind of hoping for ghost/fairy or ghost/psychic, but I think pure ghost or ghost/dark would be the most realistic option. As for the design, I think it would be kind of neat if its mouth was unzipped and the spirit inside was flowing out, all angry and awesome looking. Like spiritomb but with a stuffed animal instead of a stone.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that Nintendo/Game Freak is justified. The fines are imposed because what the stores did/are doing by selling the games early is illegal, breaking some sort of copyright law.

I assume all this squabbling is about the INCOMPLETE trademark list that was found in MAY and was IN NO WAY A REFLECTION OF THE FINAL OUTCOME of what was/was not getting a mega evolution, yes?

It was never deemed complete, it only contains the names of pokemon that Nintendo filed 'Mega' trademarks for back in MAY. I believe I've explained more than once that this is a 5 month old list, but somehow people seem to ignore that detail.

The fact of the matter is this is a list of Pokemon that Nintendo FILED 'MEGA' TRADEMARKS FOR. The only reason this list isn't confirmed already is because Nintendo trademarks LOTS of names (including both Pokemon Grey AND Gray, for example), but that does not mean they are going to use them.

Shall I shout it from the rooftops once again or has the point been made? Because I'm getting very tired of people saying 'lol this list is totally fake because ____ and ____ aren't on it nice try'.

That's what the guy that works in the electronics department told me. That they're wad a $3000 fine for putting the games on the shelves early.

First off, it's just my opinion, I could care less about the fines. I'm just saying that breaking the street date violated a lot of rules and it should be justified. You have to remember that people have been planning this for a long time and something like that happening ruins sales and reputation. If we wanted to truly see the games early, we would have just dealt with the regular tradition of Japan getting the games first and we'd be waiting months for the game to be translated. Gamefreak/Nintendo wanted to break that tradition and let the whole world experience this event on the same day. People that reviewed the game may have posted leaks but Gamefreak/Nintendo has been trying to stop that. I'm just saying that it's only 2 more days and unless you die tomorrow, you can wait.

Is it me, or is the ratio of females way too high?

No, it is finally realistic for once. The population has a chance of surviving this way. Seriously, with how it used to be, all the male wild starters (that exist in theory) would kill each other off trying to win the females.

Not to mention, if a lot of the females were captured by Trainers and not allowed to breed, the population would all die off because it couldn't reproduce.

Maybe this explains why we couldn't find starters in the wild in previous generations. 0.o
